I love micellar water, it wipes away even the most stubborn mascara, with ease. It literally feels like water, and does not leave my skin feeling dry like other cleansers. I was intrigued by this milky micellar water, because the main thing I enjoy of regular micellar water, is the fact that it looks and feels like water. This milky water did what it promised, it removed make up and cleansed my skin with ease, however I am not a convert just yet. It had a weird, paint-like, smell to it, which takes away the feeling of it being a 'water'. It also left my skin with a slightly stickey, dewey feel. I don't like this, it makes me feel like I still need to wash my face. I ended up wiping my face with warm tap water to finish the cleanse, because it felt like I needed to rinse off this milky water (bottle says you don't need to though?!). SO anyway, I'm going back to my original micellar water and gifting this one to my sister (who tried it and liked it.)

Tips: -Wet your face cloth and wipe your face after using. -A little goes a long way!
I have the Garnier original pink micellar water, and have used it a lot. This one made me very excited because it was more of a gel formula and I've found that this is more suitable for my very sensitive skin, especially my eyes!
It removes makeup nicely, but in general, I'm not a fan of having to use cotton pads. I also never like the residue left on my skin from micellar products, and always cleanse and wash anyway, but this is great to get that first layer of makeup off.
There's no noticeable smell, which I like, and the product is cooling and gentle. I would recommend for people that don't like typical micellar water products.
The large bottle also means it'll last for ages!
Tips: To prevent waste, I use this product with a washcloth rather than cotton pads. I also make sure to give my face a quick cleanse after for super clean skin.
I received this in a black box. I found it to not be the most effective in removing stubborn eyemakeup.
It could be unrelated but I had allot of breakouts around the time I was using this product, I feel it wasn’t right for my skin and caused them.
It doesn’t have a smell, the texture is nice and it doesn’t sting if you get it in your eyes so these things are a bonus.
Tips: Wash off afterwards properly to avoid any skin problems like blemishes like I experienced
Pros: - Love the bottle, great size and snaps shut, so no leakages - Good value for money - you get a lot of product and only need to use a small amount! - Takes makeup off well, no harsh scrubbing - Smells nice and fresh
Cons: - The instructions say that no rinsing is needed - but I just found the thicker milky texture too weird and definitely needed to rinse this off - Not a standout product for me. Misceller waters are generally quite similar and work just as well as each other. I do love using misceller water for that fresh morning feeling, but I don’t get that with this texture.
Tips: Apply with cotton pad
This Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water was a pleasant surprise. When I received the product, I was surprised to see how thick and gloopy it is - I've used Garnier's Micellar water before and loved it, so I thought this would be similar, but it seems more a cleanser consistency. I have to admit, the thickness threw me off a bit, but once I started using it I was impressed. This product removes all traces of make-up and dirt, clearing the way for me to use my other routine products. My skin is quite combination, so I was concerned what adding a new product into my routine would do, but I haven't noticed any negative results... In fact, my skin seems to have been much less oily than normal, and I haven't had any breakouts. Woop! I call that a success! Thanks, Beauty Review :)
Tips: You need less than you'd think for this product to work. A pea-sized amount on a cotton pad is perfect!
I can't express enough how much I love this product!! I was not expecting it to be so thick but it has a lovely consistency and it's so effective at removing all of my makeup. I use reusable makeup clothes, wet with a small amount of this product and find that it removes every bit. I have been using this as soon as I get home to freshen up my skin and then shower and apply my nightly serums. It leaves my skin cleansed, refreshed and ready for further skincare. I have noticed no irritation and can confidently use it around my eye area as well. I will dedicate be repurchasing!
Tips: Use with a reusable makeup clothe, such as Take It Off
I've tried lots of micellar waters so was thrilled to get an opportunity to review this one.
The packaging is really pretty, clear bottle with pink lid that is easy to open. The liquid has a milky appearance.
I used one makeup remover pad and tipped the product onto it. It took several goes to get enough product onto the pad for a start, but the smell was very light and the texture almost like a gel.
I wiped one side of my face, but found I had to apply more product to the pad to finish my face. This was the main minus of the product, mainly due to it being slightly thicker than the clear micellar waters. However, it still removed my mineral powder makeup well.
I would definitely use this again but probably as a backup to a lighter micellar water.
Pros: No smell, nice texture, removes light makeup well, skin is left soft and hydrated.
Cons: is quite thick and requires more liberal use of the product.
I was excited to try the new Cleansing Milky water Micellar from Garnier. Unfortunately I really don't like it for several reasons, which will become clear. The bottle shows a milky liquid, but when you try and tip it out, it is very thick and viscous, in fact it doesn't even soak into a cotton pad, it just sits on the top of the pad and you have to quickly get it to your face without it dribbling off. It also seems to soak into your skin and although it does remove the makeup it also leaves a slightly sticky residue, which feels a bit unpleasant. The worst aspect of it, dare I say it, that without being crass , it does remind me of some sort of bodily fluids and I just can't get past this to use it regularly on my face .As soon as I used it , I read some other reviews, I noticed a couple of other people had thought the same about it. It may sound silly but I can't get past the way it looks and that together with it soaking into the skin and having to rinse it off, I really didn't like this product .
This was a gorgeous milky micellar cleanser which was felt so good on my parched skin. I didn't find any sticky residue after. Because I wear some pretty heavy coverage foundation, I need to double cleanse everyday i.e. I follow up with a secondary (usually foam) cleanser. While I would say that this didn't remove all my makeup to my liking, this would be perfect who doesn't use a lot of heavy makeup/foundation. This was also pretty good on lip and eye makeup, you just have to make sure you soak your cotton pad thoroughly before wiping.
Overall this is a very handy product that I'd recommend to all my dry-skinned friends out there who use tinted moisturiser/BB creams and want something gentle but effective to remove it.
Tips: I would soak my cotton pads with the product and just lay it over my face for a few minutes. This was really calming, like putting on a sheet mask!
The packaging: This product comes in a flip-top 400ml clear bottle. I found that it was hard to dispense the fluid without dribbling some on the bottle due to the thickness of the liquid. A pump-style bottle might have been easier. I didn't have any other issues with leakage and overall the packaging is attractive enough to have on display.
The product: This micellar milky water is translucent white in colour, and slightly thick. Without wanting to be crude, there's only one other fluid I've seen that has this exact colour and texture, and I did find that a bit off-putting. It's not perfumed and smells faintly of alcohol (You know the hand sanitiser they use in hospitals? It smells just like that).
Did it work? Heck yes! This removes way more in one wipe than my usual Essano micellar water, and I did not feel tight or dry afterwards - as a trial, I decided not to moisturise afterwards one night, and my skin felt fine. I had no trouble removing a full face of make-up, including eye make-up, with one cotton pad of product. No irritation, no unpleasant effects at all.
Would I purchase it in future? Yes, I would, but I'll be decanting it into a pump bottle, because the flip-top design isn't easy to keep cleaning up every time.
Tips: You really only need a little bit of product for great results!
Consider decanting it into a pump bottle to avoid messes.
Don't let the appearance of the liquid put you off.
