This Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water was a pleasant surprise. When I received the product, I was surprised to see how thick and gloopy it is - I've used Garnier's Micellar water before and loved it, so I thought this would be similar, but it seems more a cleanser consistency. I have to admit, the thickness threw me off a bit, but once I started using it I was impressed. This product removes all traces of make-up and dirt, clearing the way for me to use my other routine products. My skin is quite combination, so I was concerned what adding a new product into my routine would do, but I haven't noticed any negative results... In fact, my skin seems to have been much less oily than normal, and I haven't had any breakouts. Woop! I call that a success! Thanks, Beauty Review :)

Tips: You need less than you'd think for this product to work. A pea-sized amount on a cotton pad is perfect!
The packaging is very plain. It doesn’t come in a fancy box or have any added plastic like many products have. I’m happy with that and the plastic container can be recycled.
This cleanser is designed to be used with a cotton pad and says you don’t need to rinse. I used this product as directed, but after cleansing I really still felt that I wanted to rinse my face. It certainly seems to remove all my make up which is great, but my face felt a bit sticky after the cleansing process. I really didn’t want to add my night moisturiser over this until I’d rinsed my face.
On the plus side if you happen to be travelling, it would be easy to just use a cotton pad to cleanse you’re face. I’m not too keen on using the cleanser as directed, simply because it would mean using two cotton pads per day, for cleansing morning and night. As we are all becoming more aware of how much waste we produce, I don’t feel it’s very environmentally friendly to be throwing two cotton pads away per day. For me that means, 14 cotton pads per week going to landfill. If you would normally use a cleanser and a make up remover, then it’s a great idea, as you can just use this one product now.
It certainly made my skin feel clean, without drying it out.
I would use this cleanser again, but for me personally I would cleanse and then rinse off, without throwing extra cotton pads into the rubbish. I would use a cotton pad to remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
With make up applied, it took about 3 or 4 round cotton pads with the miscellar water to take all the makeup off including eye makeup (plus a little bit of remaining foundation came off when applying toner afterwards) It was definitely moisturising and my normally dry skin didn't feel tight afterwards.
I personally prefer to use cleansing foam and rinse off with water, so without rinsing my cleansing routine felt slightly incomplete, but for people who would normally use cleansing water this is definitely a nice choice for dry skin. The generous amount in the bottle also doesn't make you feel bad about using it liberally.
Tips: Use as a eye & lip makeup remover too :)
This micellar water is really think almost like a gel, its defiantly got a milky appearance. I think it removes makeup fine like normal micellar water, but personally i will always follow up with a wet cloth and/or cleanser to make sure my makeup is really gone.
I really like how the product rubs on, my skin feels clean and fresh after using it. My skins is mostly dry. Good price point as well.
This product is really nice and cooling on my sensitive skin. I use with my reusable facial wipes pads and twice cleanse so my skin is really clean and fresh before applying my night time products. It's a great product at a great price point.
I liked this product as It left my face feeling clean and fresh without any stinging or tightness like some other removers or cleansers do. The consistency is quite runny so probably used more than I usually would or more than what I need. My face felt super clean and soft after using. The one thing I didn't like is the smell. Because of the smell I probably wont buy it again, but I would recommend to others. Smell is a personal preference.
Tips: As its runny pour some on a face cloth or similar.
First thoughts - great sized bottle and bound to last for ages. Quite runny so first couple of times I used it, it went everywhere. Makes removing make up easy especially when times is limited. Removed mascara well but I did feel like I needed to wash my face afterwards as my skin felt like it had a residue on it and felt sticky.
Tips: I felt my skin needed to be rinsed after using Micellar so I did and my skin felt better after that
I was a bit nervous about using this products as I have reacted to several Garnier products in the past. However, I didn't have any issues with it reacting. It did what it said it would but I think I do prefer others over this one and maybe that is just due to Garnier products not being so suitable to my skin type as other products.
The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Milky Water did remove all my makeup gently with just a few wipes and left my skin feeling clean.
I have the Garnier original pink micellar water, and have used it a lot. This one made me very excited because it was more of a gel formula and I've found that this is more suitable for my very sensitive skin, especially my eyes!
It removes makeup nicely, but in general, I'm not a fan of having to use cotton pads. I also never like the residue left on my skin from micellar products, and always cleanse and wash anyway, but this is great to get that first layer of makeup off.
There's no noticeable smell, which I like, and the product is cooling and gentle. I would recommend for people that don't like typical micellar water products.
The large bottle also means it'll last for ages!
Tips: To prevent waste, I use this product with a washcloth rather than cotton pads. I also make sure to give my face a quick cleanse after for super clean skin.
