Tips: Pour onto a plain cotton tip
This product has saved me so many times getting foundation, mascara and eyeliner off easily. Is very easy and gentle to use on my skin. Is refreshing and feels like it's cleans all the chemicals off my face very effectively. Satisfying to use and clean all the make up off.
I use this as a make up remover and have found it works great. I tend to only wear eye make up and lipstick, so I can't comment on how well it works for foundation etc. I tried to use it regularly as part of my skincare too, but found it was a bit drying for my skin
Tips: I usually put some on a cotton pad them blow through it to make it more of a foam
It does its job taking off all my makeup and mascara after a day however it does take multiple wipes. It is gentle and good for sensitive skin like mine. It’s also very affordable so is a good option.
I have to admit I'm quite surprised that this works as well as it does! I did as it directs and soaked a bit onto a cotton pad and applied to my face. It definitely removes make up, including eye make up; however I did have to use about 5 pads to do so though that's not really surprising. I also gave it a go in the morning before applying the daily face and was a bit surprised at the dirt that was coming off. I do still feel like I need a cleanse after using it still as I don't feel entirely clean from it alone. My skin doesn't feel dry after using it like it promised. I love it for a quick make up removal when I can't be bothered with a full face wash. The bottle is great to use and a great size. There's no smell to the actual liquid but I did find that once it dries there's a strange sort of musty smell which I really cannot stand, but then I have K9 smell...so it could just be me...
Tips: Don't get it in your eyes!! It stings! For ages!
I picked up a bottle of this a few months ago when I was in holiday in Oz. I quickly became a fan and promptly made requests to friends across the ditch to bring me more home. I would use this product in place of make up remover wipes or towels, I like the fact that its non drying and non perfumed. Its great to use to remove make up and is super gentle on the eye area. I also like that its non-greasy unlike other traditional eye make up removers. Generally my cleansing routine is to use this to remove my eye make-up and I may do a quick swipe over my foundation too, but I usually go to my cleanser and clarisonic for a super clean face. However on nights when I may have had one too many drinks, but don't want to wake up with a face full of smudged make up I will use this. I haven't found this product great to remove ALL make-up on my face and I would not use this in place of cleanser if I had a choice, but I like it better than make up remover towelettes as it doesn't have a drying effect. This may be just down to the kind of foundation I use (Estee Lauder Doublewear) which has pretty high coverage and therefore takes a bit to be removed! Never the less, this product is definitely in my daily beauty routine (I also think its helped grow my eye lashes - jackpot!) and I am super excited that its going to be on NZ shelves!
Tips: Great to remove eye make up. Stock up on cotton make up remover pads as you will go through them super quick! Perfect to use after a night out, or travelling in place of make up remover wipes.
I have been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for about 4 days now. I've used it as a normal cleanse, a make up removed, and a way to clean my face in the middle of a day after a dramatic spilling incident with my 11 month old son! (ew!). I will say, it does what it says it will do. It removes make up and dirt and leaves my face feeling clean as if I've just used a cleanse and rinsed it off.
It is a really good sized bottle (400ml) and the spout is easy to just squeeze onto a cotton ball or pad. I have found you do need to be mindful about how much you use, as too much will just make for a watery face and it does sting a tad if it gets in your eyes!
It removed my waterproof mascara with ease, as well as many layers of foundation and primer! So removing make up - TICK!
It left my face feeling cool and fresh after use!
I have sensitive skin so I was prepared for a stinging sensation once I had used it for the first time, and perhaps a couple of pimples after a few days. NOPE! They did not arrive! BONUS!
My skin was clear and clean! I really do love it!
The one flaw: I do feel the tightness of my skin afterwards really uncomfortable. I have to use moisturizer straight away or it's really unpleasant.
Tips: Have moisturizer handy and watch how much you use!
I'm frequently too lazy to bother with makeup remover (which is horrible I know) but this stuff's so easy to use that I've found myself remembering to take my makeup off more and more. It doesn't leave your skin feeling oily (which I've gotten from a lot of makeup removers in the past) and it takes off makeup pretty easily and also leaves your face feeling clean. I'm still not really sure how it works but I like it and I'll definitely continue using it in the future.
It seemed to good too be true, a cleanser with simple, yet almost perfect cleansing capability. After reading the hype I was sceptical, dubious and dead curious to give it a try. Here I go with the simple verdict: yes, it works as it says it does, yes, my skin is completely cleansed, yes my skin feels good and ready for night cream or makeup and yes, its quick and easy. So, looks like a winner all round. It retails at 3.99 UK pounds and I saw in Oz for AUS$11.99. the other day. This water product should be as cheap as chips in its simple clear plastic bottle; lets see if it is.
Tips: It spurts out of the flip top and its easy to over soak the cotton pad, so use carefully. Also, will they bring out a smaller bottle for travelling?
I love this as it is gentle on your skin. I use this as a make up remover and it does such a great job
