I bought this off one of the BR members. I did read how it stings eyes and I wanted a good cheap and gentle eye makeup remover for my sister who just recently got into makeup. I have found this really effective at removing eye makeup. I did have my doubts thinking that this is just ideal for removing light face makeup but I have found it removes eyeliner and mascara really effectively, just saturate a cotton round and hold it over your eyes for a few seconds and then a gentle wipe and just about everything comes off. I also use this to remove the last bit of lippy left over at the end of the day. Even with liquid long last lipsticks it got them off. I really like how my face doesn't feel excessively tight and dry after I use it. It just feels like I used a toner. I have used it to rinse my eyeshadow brushes and give them a quick wipe on a tissue if wanted to quickly clean them. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a cheap and gentle makeup remover for your whole face, even at full price I would repurchase.

Tips: Great for days when you want to remove makeup but are too lazy to do a full routine. Also great for rinsing your makeup up brushes after cleaning them or if you want to just sort of spot clean your brushes.
I honestly believed this was just overpriced water when everyone went crazy for it and the first thing that appealed was that it was Garnier, its a brand i do trust generally so i thought cool. It was a bit pricey (for water) but i got it anyways. My skin is oily in the T-Zone area and i wanted to see how this water performed by cleaning and not stripping the skin. I have to say, it felt like water but definitely refreshed and cleansed my skin well, no need to go to the bathroom and wash off, just a clean facial pad and micellar water and all while you are laying in bed, makeup off, clean skin and asleep in under 2 min ;) I would definitely recommend this to my friends and NON-believers , i think it is worth a try at the least. It lasts really long too as you do not need much to cleanse your skin so thats a definite bonus for me as well.
Tips: I suggest using 2 cotton pads... one to cleanse initially and another to refresh.
This will make you realise just how ineffective your other makeup removers are. I use it especially when I have heavy eye make up on that needs to be removed, and it'll take everything off. Eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, you name it. And it just keeps coming off too, so you know it's getting everything. With others I found that it looked like it was all off but by the morning there was some degree of "panda eye" from missed makeup. With this there is nothing in the morning, which proves how effective it really is.
Tips: I use cotton pads with a few drops on each, which makes this really good value.
After using the Garner Micellar cleansing water I only ever broke out in pimples. Maybe this was because it was drawing all the dirt out of my pores or maybe it was because it simply didn't suit my skin. I would only be able to tell after using it for longer.
Bought this stuff after it was recommended by many beauty bloggers who's opinion I trust. I use it on those swisspers cotton pads to take my makeup off at night and or freshen my skin in the morning. It definitely seems like it does the trick! I ended up wasting a lot because the lid is really leaky and it comes out really quickly. Other than that, I think it's pretty good.
Tips: Be careful with the lid - the girl at the counter who sold it to me very helpfully taped it down as a lot of them were leaking in customer's bags.
Such an easy way to remove my makeup last thing at night. I just soak a couple of cotton pads in micellar water and whisk them all over my face and neck. Every trace of makeup is gone and my skin feels clean and toned, not stripped. I can massage my night cream onto my skin right away, no rinsing or drying.
I haven't found it to be very effective at removing my eye-makeup, but waterproof mascara is a trial for most cleansers. I do find it stings like crazy if I get it in my eye by accident too.
Easily available with my weekly shop, I am halfway through one bottle after two months so I think it is great value for money. In comparison with another micellar water I have tried (Simple) I think the Garnier product is superior.
Recently I had some kind of weird allergy to something and my face was covered in a dry bumpy horrible rash.
Initially I though it was a new moisturiser but I think perhaps it was some kind of weird change of season thing.
Because my skin was aggravated already, anything I put on it stung and burned and it seemed as though it would never repair itself.
I bought the Micellar water and found it absolutely fabulous! It caused no irritation and felt fresh and non-drying on the skin.It takes off makeup really well (including facepaint)
I have also been using it to clean my makeup brushes and sponges and have found it very effective.
Super pleased with this product, Would definitely be handy to have a more portable version for overnight trips etc as it is a rather large bottle with a not so secure lid.
Tips: Cleaning up those lines - Dip a cotton bud in Micellar water and it works well to erase the odd eyeliner accident. I have been doing a lot of facepainting lately and have been doing this to sharpen lines and "rub out" mistakes
Brush cleaning - dip brushes in Micellar water and gently wipe on to a tissue. Found it cleans them nicely
Used this for the last few months. Is very good at removing face makeup. Some thicker products like eyeliner and the maybelline colour tattoos need something stronger to remove. But otherwise it's a very nice product that removes your makeup without leaving your face oily. I'm super paranoid and still wash and do my skin care routine so I don't know how it would be on your skin if you didn't wash etc
I had been using Bioderma for a good while and was in the market for a cheaper, more accessible alternative when this YouTube sensation finally arrived on our shores, so of course I nabbed myself one.
It took me a while to warm to this product and I put that down to not realising that you need to use more than two drops of water on your cotton pad for it to do anything useful. As long as you're generous with the amount of product you pour on your cotton pad this product works just as well as Bioderma to remove your entire face of makeup.
The packaging looks and feels cheaper compared to Bioderma, but that's a small price to pay for the HUGE price difference. I pick my bottles up when they're on sale for under $10, which is less than 1/4 of the Bioderma price, es muy loco. Needless to say, I will be repurchasing!
I used to use makeup wipes religiously to take my makeup off before cleansing, however I find using this is a gentler option for my sensitive, dry skin. I definitely don't get the claimed 200 uses out of each bottle, I probably get about half of that, but it's still a fantastic deal for a product that works so well for me.
Tips: For removal of pesky waterproof mascara, drench your cotton pad and hold it over your eye for 10ish seconds, it loosens it up a tonne!
I don't wear much makeup (it's not caked on) but this stuff is gooood!!! Even before cleansing, most of my makeup, eyeliner and mascara is swept away. You don't need to rub but I do because I can't be bothered holding the cotton pad over my eyes to dissolve the makeup. In saying so, mascara and eyeliner wipes off easily and this does not sting the eyes. It is very gentle on the skin, even after rinsing with water your skin does not feel stripped from its natural oils or dry. I only cleanse once after using it and when wiping my face with the towel (white), there are no leftover traces of makeup.
