I thought I would try out Garnier micellar water as there has been lots of hype about it. It comes in a big 400ml bottle, so you’re getting lots of product for how much you pay. I use this micellar water with cotton pads to remove my make-up. It removes all my make-up really well. I usually wash my face after using this product as it leaves my skin feeling sticky. Overall this product is really good and leaves your skin feeling very clean, I would highly recommend.

I got told about this and had to go out and buy it to see for myself and im in love! I use it for my eye makeup and all you need to do is put it on a cotton pad and wipe. It does not have a smell so doesn’t sting if I get it on my eyes and it takes of my makeup with ease. Sometimes mascara does struggle with this one but I find that with everything. The packaging is simple and comes in a 400ml bottle which seems big, but it gets used quite quickly. I will definitely purchase again
Tips: Can be used for a light clean of brushes
Now I had seen a lot of hype around these micellar waters. And honestly - as someone who is a traditional wash and scrub girl I was pretty skeptical. Usually on days I wear makeup (which isn't all that often) I would use a make up wipe or two to remove what I had worn that day/night and then be done with it.
So when I ran out of my trusty wipes and came across this in the supermarket I figured why not.
Now on a note, something that really drew me in was the price point. Usually I pay anywhere between 7-15 dollars for each pack of facial wipes. This bottle cost me $9 and promises 200 uses..who was I to say no to that?!
My method is that I will soak two cotton pads. Use the first one for an all over wipe down and the second to get any grime I missed.
While it doesn't take off any heavy duty mascara it does a pretty good job of getting my face clean. It feels fresh, light and doesn't dry it out too bad. Although I still follow up with a moisturizer.
This was one of those products that got ALL the hype, it was talked about everywhere I went. On Social Media everyone was uploading photos of this new creation, it was nearly as crazy as a new Whittaker's Chocolate being bought out. So with all the hype I decided to try it out.
At first I loved it, this product was brilliant. It removed all my makeup without any struggle, it even took of my mascara which was usually a problem with most cleansers.
However, after a couple of weeks my skin started to change, my foundation wouldn't stay on anymore. It got worse, I couldn't blend foundation into my skin, it would just sit on the surface of my skin & wouldn't blend into my pores. My skin became oily, never in my life had I had oily skin. I stopped using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water immediately as this was the only new product I had started using, 2 months later my skin is still getting back to normal, it's not as oily as it was but I HIGHLY recommend you research this product before you start using it - I guess it depends on the type of skin you have, but for myself with normal to dry skin - it was a nightmare.
wow, I am now cleansing and taking off my make up every night. I like the fragrance, the bottle, the price......everything. I have used the expensive brands of cleansers all my life so was dubious about this but it works.
Tips: I do use more than it says to and keep refreshing my pad until clean.
i absolutely adore this product. not only does it cleanse your skin, but it also easily removes makeup at the same time. i use it daily and would recommend to anyone in need of a cleanser or make up remover.
First used it when a friend had it and have bought it ever since. Removes ALL makeup and leaves your skin hydrated and fresh afterwards. Would recommend this to anyone, with any skin type as it worked with my sensitive skin.
Not a fan. I've tried to love it. I really did. I dislike (intesely) the amount of cotton pads I need to use to remove my makeup (I wear a full face each day). Also, I userproof mascara and eyeliner:This won't remover that, back to Neutrogena Oil Free makeup remover I go. This also leaves a greasy feel to my skin -I can't wait to clean my skin properly. All in all, for makeup removal, I much prefer Clinique Take the Day Off Balm: Or coconut oil!
Tips: I can't believe this is promoted as a one stop 'clean your face'. Clean your face afterwards - this is a must!
I have been using this product for about a month now. I love it more than any makeup remover i have tried (and i have tried alot!) It makes my skin so soft and clean. Compared to makeup remover wipes it actually removes EVERYTHING. So easy to use and no nasty chemicals!
Tips: I use this product on a cotton pad - i go through a few cotton pads until i see no more makeup on the pad.
I've read a few reviews on this and everyone raved about it! Sure It did what it claimed, it removed all of my makeup without a lot of rubbing/effort but I wasn't a huge fan come the next morning!
I've been using the Bioderma Micelle Solution for the past few years and I love it! So when I heard people saying the Garnier version was a good dupe, for half the price I had to try it!
I was totally drawn in by the packaging, it looks great! And like I said it did remove my makeup so first impressions I was impressed!
But the next day, my skin was extra dry! My chin and under my eyes were burning and were all flaky. I do have extremely sensitive skin and I guess this product was just one of the one's that didn't agree with my skin.
I can see why a lot of people like this product it definitely does what it claims. I know everyone's skin is different, but if you have sensitive skin perhaps don't smother your face with this the first time you use it :)
