The Micellar cleansing water does a great job at making even sensitive skin feel refreshed after a night out or day at the gym. I found it easy to use with a non-intensive smell (perfume free). It cleaned my face and lips easily but wasn't strong enough to move heavy duty eye makeup. My face is usually sensitive and I did not have a reaction to the cleansing water. Colour free and appearance of the bottle are both positives. I enjoyed the 125ml sized bottle as I could carry it round in my handbag if I needed to remove and then reapply lipstick during a night out. It was great not having to rinse my face afterwards and I would use this product again.

Tips: Use more with eye makeup or try a different product specifically for mascara and eyeliner.
This is a refreshing light cleanser which leaves your skin feeling soft after use, I liked to use this in the morning for a lighter cleanse which prepped my skin for my make up. Although I only used a couple of times at night it did remove my make up well.
Tips: Use in the morning very refreshing for a uplifting morning cleanse .
After hearing all the hype over the past year about micellar water I finally caved and gave this one a try. This was different to my usual cleansing routine (I usually use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup). On a simple makeup day it removed the surface layer of my makeup quite well, which after a double cleanse did leave my skin feeling clean. On a heavy makeup day this form of cleansing made removing my makeup quite a long process, having to use several small cotton rounds to remove my foundation and heavy mascara meant a lot of time pulling at my eyes to still have traces of both left over. I did find this product was great at refreshing my clean face in the morning or to get off lipstick and eye shadow with ease.
It doesn't leave an oily residue which is great and it is fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin. The smaller size bottle makes for easy travel and perfect for smaller makeup removing jobs. It does an effective job at refreshing a fresh face, removing small amounts/a light face of makeup but I will be sticking to a cleansing oil as it takes half the time with a better result.
Tips: I would only use this as a first step makeup remover, still cleansing with a face wash afterwards to make sure your skin is fully cleansed and all traces of makeup is removed.
This product for me wasn't quite what I expected. The way people rave on about it I thought it was literally a mirical water alas it wasn't quite that good.
I like the clear packaging as it shows you just how much product is left. The labelling was simple and straight to the point.
When asked to trial this I was excited as I hadn't quite got around to trailing it before this opportunity.
It was a simple clear liquid with a super mild scent. Not unpleasant but was detectable. It did an okay job at removing makeup but I did find it struggled with eye makeup. I ended up using it to soak my brushes and found it did a fantastic job at washing them as opposed to removing makeup off my face. I much prefer to use an oil cleanse.
I probably wouldn't purchase this product with my own money but it was nice being able to trial this much hyped up product. I was disappointed it didn't quite do what I was hoping but at least I can put it to use for something right?
Warehouse had a twenty five percent off Sale and I took the opportunity to try a small version of this micellar water. At firstI was very worried my skin would have a reaction. I decided to bite the bullet and give this a try.
My bottle I got is 125 mls. I got a small version to see if will work with my skin. Ganiers labelling is easy to read and has a easy guide to follow on the back. The consistency of this is just like water . I couldn't detect any scent.
When I first applied it I could see all my foundation coming off. I waited several minutes to see if my skin would burn but it didn't. I tried it on my liquid eye liner and it came off.But it didnt quite remove my mascara. I tried several times and it still didn't budge.
After trying this I can see why its a huge hit . It got most of my make up off. After trying this I would like to give more Micellar waters a try. I don't think I would repurchase this again because I need my mascara to come off well. I'm yet to try something better than cleansing oil.
I wasn't expecting much from this but after some experimentation, I now use it to effectively get rid of mascara before I wash my face. I also use it as a quick way to freshen up my face after work or, if I haven't been wearing make-up that day, as a lazy way to wash my face before night cream and bed!
It is very effective when used in those ways, however it is not a good substitute for washing your face/ using a cleansing wipe to remove foundation or bb cream.
I really like this product as it is refreshing and does not irritate my dry sensitive skin at all! However it just doesn't take off all my make up the end of the day and I end up having to use something more afterwards. I wish it did work better for me as it would be a great option for travelling.
Does a pretty good job of removing all makeup hasn't become my go to I only really use it if I run out of my usual products and I find it leaves a residue and I need to rinse after use.
It was okay but I found with my mascara and some eye makeup I still had to scrub allot to be able to get it off my face. I hate scrubbing my eye area as it’s not good for the skin. For foundation blush etc it worked great.
I found this product good to remove foundation and eye shadow, but when you rub the eye shadow off the mascara comes off under your eyes and this take longer to get off than what i already use. I also had to use alot as if dried out before I could finish half my face. But the size of it meant I could carry it in my handbag/toiletry bag. It didn't really leave my face feeling that clean either.
