I love the Garnier Micellar Rose Water! It removes my make up beautifully and doesn’t take much to get it off. My skin is left glowing and feels fresh and dewy; it even gently cleaned my lash extensions. I love the subtle but pretty scent of the Rose Water too, it’s not over powering and my skin smells amazing after using. My skin is left radiant and soft, it is not drying at all. I will definitely use this again!

Tips: A little goes a long way. I cleanse twice; to remove dirt and makeup then to have soft glowing skin.
I have heard alot over the years about the properties and benefits of rose water but have never tried a product with it, until now. The Garnier micellar rose water clean and glow was a welcome change in my routine. It smells lovely and is super easy to use. I chose to use it with reusable cotton pads which worked a treat. I love how thos product made my skin feel and noticed a recent breakout was easing quicker than it normally does. My skin felt clean and comfortable not tight or dry which was awesome. I didn't quite get the glow but I would definitely keep using it to hopefully achieve this facet.
The Garnier Micellar Rose Water Clean & Glow is the latest micellar water in Garnier's micellar water range.
The bottle has a lovely rose coloured background and a secure flip top. Upon opening the bottle, I expected the rose scent to be more robust and perhaps a tint to the water, but the fact that these weren't present hopefully means the product was more natural, which is the better option any day. The bottle also advertises that it equates to 200 uses. I may have to track my usage to see if I get anywhere close to that number.
To the use of the product. It feels very much like and has the same consistency as water and didn't feel to chemical-y. To apply, I use two goes of micellar water, the first to break down my make up and the second to wipe it all away. My face is left feeling clean and fresh with minimal effort and I can remove my eye make up with this (but I always caution people to be gentle and careful when using products on the eyes).
After using the product it certainly left my face feeling fresh and clean but I think it would be an exaggeration to say it gave it a glow. But other than that they product did exactly what it said it would and it did a good job cleaning my face. A nice addition to the micellar range.
Tips: If you want to be more eco friendly, use a towel or your hands instead of cotton pads.
It’s been a while since i’ve found a product i would fall in love with. I really didn’t know what to expect as i haven’t had much positive experiences with facial products with rose scents. They were either too strong in terms of the scent, or gave me breakouts. But maybe because it was too pretty and cute with its lovely delicate pink design.. I just couldn’t resist when i saw it on the shelves.
Upon application i could smell the light fragrance of roses. But It wasn’t overpowering at all. It was nice, cool and refreshing. Perfect for cooling down my face after a warm day. The scent reminds me of rose petals in a bath tub..... Aahh...
In terms of make up removal. It wasn’t much different to the others in the Garnier line. It still took me at least three cotton wipes to clean the make up off my face. However, i did find the addition of the rosewater scent quite relaxing. Plus no strong make up remover smell, didn’t dry my skin out, didn’t sting my eyes, nor gave me breakouts.
So i’ll definitely be happy to purchase this one again.
I had never used a micellar water until this product. I am 46 and my skin is sensitive so I am very careful. This did a lovely job removing my make up
I have used this with reusable cleansing pads and found it works well. My make up comes off easily and my skin is clean and soft after use. Love the easy fuss free way to remove my make up at the end of the day.
I wasn't sure what to expect as I hadn't used the original one, but I liked Rosewater as the ingredient on other products.
I found this great for my facial area - even when i had "heavier than usual" makeup (with primer, corrector, foundation, concealer!) Cleansing water was effective without being too oily or too dry. I personally liked the odour it was leaving on my skin, it felt very feminine.
However, it did not seem to work on my smudge-free mascara, even after leaving on my eyelash for a while! To be fair, I hadn't found any cleansing water that works on my mascara (those really good eye make up removers only).
Not too sure on the "natural glow" the product is asserting to, but it was quite nice and am open to switching to this product given the right pricing.
Tips: None
I really liked the smell of this Micellar water its rose water scent makes it different to the rest of them which i thought was nice. Used with the Garnier Eco pads it does a great job at removing all my makeup quick and easy. It cleans my skin well and leaves it feeling fresh with all my makeup cleaned off. I found it does leave my skin just a little bit sticky afterwards, I'm not sure if its just that I used too much on the pad to clean my face but sometimes I will rinse with water just to get rid of that feeling, but overall my skin looks great afterwards.
I am a big fan of garnier micellar waters. I constantly go through bottles of the regular micellar water version. And this rose water version is no different. I have sensitive skin which is combination oily. I have found that this does not irate my skin and I have had no reactions to this product.
I have been using this for about a week in combination with the eco makeup remover pads. I squirt some micellar water into the pad and then swipe over my face at night to remove my makeup. I will then cleanse my face like normal in the shower. I have found this micellar water to be very effective at removing makeup. Including waterproof mascara and liquid lipstick. I only need to swipe over a certain area a couple of times and it removed all traces of makeup.
The scent of this product is very fresh and light. I love the smell. The packaging is the exact same bottle as the regular micellar water. It’s easy to use, click the lid off and turn upside to shake the water out.
This product claims to leave skin clean and healthy with a glow. My skin definitely feels clean and healthy, even if I didn’t cleanse afterwards. However, I don’t know that it gives my skin a glow. I haven’t experienced any glow results but perhaps I need to trial this for longer.
Over all I have really enjoyed using this product and will continue to use it. I would recommend this to others.
If you're getting bored of plain micellar water, give this a go.
This product comes in a standard Garnier 400ml bottle with an added pinkish tinge to the bottle, a pink rose background, and soft pink coloured cap that makes it look very pretty sitting on your vanity. It claims to be suited to dull and sensitive skin, removing makeup and giving your skin a "glow".
Upon opening the bottle I noticed a rosy, floral fragrance that reminded me of how Japanese rose-scented skincare smells; not just straight rosewater, but with an added powdery-but-not-in-a-grandma-way type of scent. It's not a light fragrance but I didn't find it too overpowering. It is worth noting there is added fragrance in this product. It does not have any colour and is not a bi-phase formula.
In terms of removing makeup it did as well as the original Garnier micellar water, as in it removes "everyday" makeup just fine. I did test it on matte liquid lipstick, which it removed with a little effort, but my ultimate test was my Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara (Super Waterproof), which it was not able to remove, unsurprisingly. It did, although, manage to remove the Advanced Film version, if any of you are familiar with that. It did not sting my sensitive eyes unless I put too much on the cotton pad.
Now, regarding the claim of only using one cotton pad - I don't know how this would be effective unless you were only wearing eye and lip makeup, i.e. no foundation. I don't regularly wear foundation so I was able to use one side of the cotton pad for both eyes, and the other for my lips. I have tried using one cotton pad for a full face of makeup but the pad just gets saturated with makeup so quickly that you'd just be smearing old makeup around your face. You would be better off using one cotton pad to remove/break down the makeup, and another to get the residue off, or just washing your face afterwards, which defeats the claim of "no rinsing required". I really don't understand this claim.
This product did leave my skin feeling and looking clean and fresh. I have normal skin on most of my face but my upper lip and area around my mouth is very dry and sensitive. This product did not irritate my skin and left it feeling comfortable, not tight, and without any discernible film over my skin. I still always moisturise afterwards but I wouldn't say it's absolutely necessary after using this product; maybe in winter I might need to, though.
Overall I really enjoyed this product and would purchase this product over the plain version because I am a fan of the scent, and I feel like it did hydrate my skin more than the plain version. However if you are sensitive to fragrance I would patch test first.
Tips: If you are wearing a full face of makeup you will need more than one cotton pad!
