I became a fan of the original Micellar water and have been using it for over the past year, maybe more. It wasn't until the beginning of this year I made the switch, it wasn't intentional but my cousin who also has a passion for makeup raved about the Micellar in oil.
It comes in the same shaped bottle but is a little more expensive.
When Im ready to remove my makeup I shake up the bottle, watching the oil & water try to merge together is fun, I get happy every time I need to shake the bottle. I soak 2 makeup pads and starting with my eye makeup I let it sit before wiping my makeup away. The oil helps dislodge any makeup that tries to stay on my face, I find the oil/micellar combo helps remove makeup in half the time it takes for the regular micellar to do its job. After Ive removed all my makeup, my skin looks and feels hydrated and fresh.
I will continue to purchase this, it is more than the regular Micellar water but dissolves makeup twice as fast and I use less.
I really love using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil. It is an upgrade from the Micellar water from Garnier (which is already fantastic), with a bi-phase (oil and water) system to remove stubborn waterproof makeup.
I found this product to be really effective in removing waterproof mascara and lip stains. It hasn't caused any breakouts and I really enjoyed using it as a part of my daily routine.
The only possible downside is that this has a noticeable fragrance, which may cause reactions in people with allergies or sensitive skin.
I love how affordable this product is - it is often on special at the local pharmacy or grocery store.
Tips: Shake well before use. Although the product mentions "no water/rinsing needed", I find it is best to rinse with warm water after cleaning with a cotton pad as leaving the product on the skin may be quite dehydrating.
