I was disappointed especially after reading reviews. My face went very oily and broke out almost immediately

An exciting addition to the Micellar range! Garnier's first bi-phase Micellar solution infused with cleansing oils.
Garnier has made a technological breakthrough in combining the power of cleansing oils with the efficiency of micellar. When the bottle is shaken the two components combine, allowing even the most stubborn make-up to be gently removed without leaving a greasy film. Argan Oil (which is rich in essential fatty acids) and Vitamin E soothes, hydrates and softens the skin. This prevents drying and brings a 'skincare' touch to make-up removal. Cleansing oils are so effective are removing long-wear and waterproof make-up because oil dilutes make-up components that are resistant to water. This allows make-up to be removed more easily by helping it slide off the skin and eyelashes.

I am a huge fan of micellar water and find it very effective in removing make up without lots of rubbing and pulling my skin. I find Garnier micellar water to be normally good so I was keen to try this more nourishing version. The bi-phase oil and water substance means that you have to shake the bottle in between pouring it onto a cotton wool pad as it separates again really quickly. This is a bit of an annoyance as it seems to slow down the cleansing process. When using this on stubborn make up such as waterproof mascara I find it less effective than the normal water cleanser. It takes two or three pads to work. And here comes the most two annoying factors. One it leaves an oily residue on your skin which you have to rinse off. Again it defeats the purpose of the quick, one stop micellar cleansing process. Secondly it hurts the skin around my eyes and if burns my eyes, making them sting. So overall it doesn’t work as well as promised, isn’t as quick and easy as the original and inflames my skin. I will be sticking to the original micellar water from now on.
Tips: Be very careful if you have sensitive skin around the eyes as this can be harsh.
