A pretty decent natural product for a mainstream brand, this moisturiser does feel and smell natural and chemical-free. I usually prefer thicker, creamier body moisturisers so I'm not sure it's really for me, but I do appreciate that what I'm putting into my skin is natural with this one. As with most natural products, you do really have to rub it in and although it felt a little sticky/oily afterwards, my skin did feel super hydrated and moisturised. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to my friends as a general body moisturiser but definitely would if they were after a natural product specifically.

Reviews
Tips: Don't use a whole lot at once because it is quite tricky to rub in. I would also leave a bit of time for the oiliness to settle before putting something like skinny jeans on.
I really like that packaging of this product. It's very well displayed and I really like that it's in a tube and not a tub. I found that my skin really loved this which was awesome. It soaked right in and my skin felt really lovely. I didn't have any residue left on my face and it rinsed of my hands well. The fragrance is very subtle which I'm u big fan of as well. I don't enjoy very potent fragrances on my skin especially on my face. I found my skin felt very nourished all day and I have and will enjoy using this as part of my morning skin care routine.
Tips: You only need a little bit with this product. It goes a long way.
I am one of the lucky ones to try and review this 50ml packaging Garnier moisturizer. What I liked, - the packaging design is nice. - the scent is soft and attractive. - the consistency is good. Little goes long way. - is applied smoothly and evenly. - moisturizes as it says. - Organic.
What I didn't like, - feels greasy. - takes time to completely absorb.
P.S. My skin type is normal to combination. I would suggest this moisturizer for dry skin and best to be used in winters.
Tips: Won't feel good on oily skin.
I was so keen to try this as I'd never used vegan products before so was excited to be accepted on this trial! When it arrived, the packaging was recycled cardboard and very informative with a full ingredients list on the back which I thought was great. The scent was pleasant and fresh and a little really goes a long way. Unfortunately for me though, it left this horrible greasy oily film on my face that felt really gross. I used it immediately after showering, so thought maybe that was problem so tried it when I hadn't showered beforehand and still got the same result. I think because of this reason I probably wont try it again.
I have combination skin leaning dry, so was excited to try this. There are a few Garnier cleansers I enjoy, so thought this might have potential.
The tube is quite small, but of course a little goes a long way. I do like the matte green packaging too.
The first thing I noticed was the smell. Baby powder. Yuck. I know some people will enjoy this, but the fragrance was so heavy I was reluctant to put it on my face after having avoided fragrance in skincare for so long.
Nevertheless I tried it out. It is surprisingly oily - maybe I should have expected this considering the star ingredient is Argan oil. I do feel that oily skin gals won’t like it though.
The consistency is heavy and thick and smooths our nicely. It works well as an occlusive moisturiser. The dimethicone would have made it ideal for a makeup primer, but the oil sadly counteracts this by eventually breaking up your makeup.
After a few nights of using this on my face I just couldn’t handle the smell anymore, and the consistency is too greasy for me personally. I use it as a nice hand cream instead, but have given it a low rating.
What an amazing product the Garnier Organics Argan Nourishing Moisturiser is! The scent is light and not flowery but kind of clinical - there could be an improvement on that part of the product. Texture is medium, great for a night cream and all over coverage of the face and decollage. I used it at night as it was a little too heavy as a morning cream under my makeup. My face was waking up moisturised, soft and looking wonderful. It didn't take too much product to get great coverage so I could see a 50ml bottle lasting up to two months. At a cost of approximately $20 for a 50 ml bottle it is very economical.
The formula is vegan and entriched with organic argan oil and organic aloe vera, it is packaged in 100% recyclable cardboard from forests managed with respect to people and nature. So as well as being an amazing product Garnier has ensured it is ethical for the customers, producers and suppliers of the ingredients and packaging for this product. Well done Garnier!
After being excited to trial Garnier Organics Argan Nourishing Moisturiser I can confirm that I am delighted with this product and it's performance. I can swap out my expensive night cream for a more affordable product that performs better!! I recommend this to all ages with dry or sensitive skin, the results are amazing.
This moisturiser is creamy, rich and nourishing. It is quite a heavy moisturiser so if you prefer a lighter feel during the day, maybe this is best for night use only. The smell is a little odd for me as I'm used to a citrus scent but its easy to get used to. My skin always felt nourished and never tight or dry whilst using this. I would buy and use this moisturiser again but I prefer products that are packaged in a more sustainable way so will stick with my Ethique moisturiser.
Tips: Nourishing rich moisturiser, best for use at night unless you don't mind the richness during the day.
I really love the packaging. It has a luxurious day spa feel and the cream has a relaxing gentle fresh scent which makes it a real treat to apply. The 50ml squeeze tube with a fliptop lid make it easy to squeeze out what I need without any produce waste.
The box displays a list of all the ingredients and their origins, so you can quickly skim through the list and see there is nothing nasty in the product.
The moisturiser is what I would call a medium thickness so it comes out of the tube and spreads easily. As suggusted on the box, I used a lighter layer in the morning and a heavier layer at night. As the box promises, the moisturiser sinks in nicely without any greasy feel so it also sat well under different foundations and BB creams.
The product says its for dry/ sensitive skin, however my skin is technically normal, but does have dry and oily patches at times as well as the occasional product reaction. It didn't cause any breakouts or reactions so I would rate it as good for any skin type, not just the suggested ones.
I'm currently using Retinol at night, which is extremely drying and sensitizing. I applied this moisturiser over the top and it has definitely helped keep my skin hydrated and minimized dry patches.
Tips: Works well with other products. One day my skin was particularily dry so I used apricot oil as a serum on my face and eye area first for an extra boost. Likewise I used this under BB cream to eliminate dry patches.
I was very excited to try this product out as it sounded amazing as it had Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid in it which is great for hydrating the skin.
The product is a slightly thicker face moisturiser than I normally use and it reminded me of a hand cream at first. It did take a little bit longer than normal to dry into my skin which meant I didn't like to use it in the morning as I often need to apply makeup shortly after moisturising my face. It does say that it provides 48 hours of hydration so I knew it would take a bit longer to absorb.
I found that I often reached for this more at night, once applied at night the following morning my skin felt very soft and hydrated. I would say this product is fantastic for traveling or if you work in an air-con environment. The scent is very subtle and this is something I really enjoyed about this product.
As I was lucky enough to trial this product I am unsure of the price point but depending on this I may purchase again but mainly to use before bed.
Tips: A little goes a long way! Make sure to apply in circular motions like with any face moisturiser.
The first thing I liked about this product was the informative packaging. They break down the ingredients list to describe the source of the often scary sounding 'chemicals' ie butyrospermum parkii' comes from shea kernels - who knew?!? I wish all products would provide this level of transparency as it contributed to my trust in this product being safe to use.
I was confused about one thing though; it calls itself a 'nourishing moisturiser' and I'm not 100% sure if it's for the face or body. The small tube size (50ml) makes me think it's for the face as it wouldn't last long if I was applying it liberally all over.
The product itself has a really nice scent and the consistency is thick and leaves skin feeling buttery and hydrated. My skin is quite dry and is soaked this moisturiser up, feeling soft and dewy for at least 5 hours afterwards.
I'm really happy to see supermarket brands like Garnier become ethically and environmentally responsible companies. Next I'd love to see developments towards recyclable/compostable plastic packaging.
