Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! The toner contains salicylic acid and is for combination to oily skin. It absorbs quickly leaving no residue. I have definitely seen an improvement to my skin since using this product. Despite the weather still being quite hot, my skin has been shine and oil free all day. While I still have a few blackheads, I have not had any other pimples. This toner smells great and is refreshing on the skin.

The only thing I don’t love about it is the packaging, but only because I am lazy. I can never be bothered using a cotton pad to apply toners. However, I fixed this issue myself by just changing the flip top for the mist spray top from a finished bottle of Essano toner, so I can just spray it on. Everything else about this toner is great though. The design on the bottle is really cute and I like that the bottle is clear so you know exactly how much is left.

Overall this is a great toner, and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. Highly recommend!

The toner is my favourite product from the range because it is a simple product that just does what it says it will. I liked soaking a cotton pad with it, swiping it all over my face and then repeating on the other side of the cotton pad.

I love that the toner has salicylic acid in it because I know that ingredient is effective on my acne prone skin. I also like the ingredients that have paired the salicylic acid with, to ensure that it is not too harsh on the skin. I think for this reason it would suit a range of skin types. I definitely prefer the thyme scent of the toner - the scent is less heavy in the toner (as opposed to the cleanser in the range) which is great.

I love that it is cooling and it gets rid of that little bit of remaining makeup that a cleanser might miss, plus makes my skin feel extra clean before I apply moisturiser. I'm not sure that it tightens my pores, but I'm not sure that any product really can so this doesn't bother me. It has not made my skin break out or made me more oily, and it does still feel gentle enough to use both morning and night.

I would purchase it again due to the size vs price and the effective yet gentle ingredients. Simple yet effective!

I was so excited to try this product alongside the cleanser and moisturiser- as they’re all vegan/natural-based products and suitable for sensitive skin which is right up my alley!!! I like the packaging colour scheme- the green and white combo with a see-through plastic so that you can see the toner inside! I also like that on the back, it’s got the list of ingredients and where they come from (the natural source), which was really cool! It was really to distribute the product onto a cotton pad as well- I thought too much would come out, but the hole is small enough so that only a small amount comes out so it’s easy to control! It felt nice on my skin as well and was easy to spread on the cotton pad. My skin didn’t react at all either!! I thought the salicylic acid would be too strong for my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised! It felt nice and clean afterwards, not dry or tight. It does smell like thyme and is fragrant, however I like thyme and actually kind of liked it, it was nice and fresh. To be honest I haven’t noticed a difference in my pore size yet as it says on the bottle (may need to use this longer to tell) or any difference to my skin from this, but overall it seems to sit well on my skin. I do have a dry skin type, where it says its for normal/combination, so that may also be why I haven’t seen any real effects on my skin yet (plus it’s only been 2 weeks of use!). Overall, I am not sure if I would repurchase it- I will need continue using it to see the long term effects on my skin!

I loved using this toner. My skin has definitely improved since using this toner. My skin appears smoother and feels refreshed after using this.

This toner was really nice, the packaging is 100% recycled and the scent of thyme is really soft and inviting. I used a cotton pad to apply and it came out of the bottle easily. it's best for combo/oily skin which is the type I have and I really liked it. no stinging or burning and easy to use.

I have combo skin with a very oily t-zone, so a toner is pretty essential for my skin care routine. Unfortunately this one didn't really do it for me.

The pros. - The scent is really wonderful - I love herby smells, there's something very natural and earthy about herb-scented skin care. - The bottle is easy to hold, and a generous size. - The lid is very secure. - A good price.

The negatives: - It's very astringent. My skin felt incredibly tight almost immediately after use. - It's very dry. After just two uses this left me with a dry patch on my chin that is still there a week later!

I think if you have incredibly oily skin you could use this daily, but for this oily girl it's just far too stripping and harsh for even occasional use.

So, I guess, yes it does what it says, and if my friend had a super-greasy face I'd recommend they try it, but for me - it's a big fat no.

The Garnier Organic Thyme Toner is packaged in a slender tube, made from recycled materials. The design and look of the packaging is really nicely done - you know you're getting a more natural product.

Unfortunately the best thing about this product is probably the packaging and the smell. The thyme fragrance is perfectly done - not too strong, but also strong enough that you can enjoy it for a while after use.

The actual product is just too harsh for my skin. I have oily skin and was looking forward to refined pores, but this product tightened them so much my skin felt dry and uncomfortable.

I noticed dry flakes of skin on my cheeks.

I wouldn't use this but if someone with very oily skin wanted a quick fix, I believe this would help.

I really liked this toner! It left my skin feeling cleaner and refreshed, plus there was no strong smell. This definitely helped pick up any grime/dirt still left on my skin after using the face wash, very noticeable when using a white cotton pad to apply this! I do wish this was available in a spray bottle though, as I tend to use toners to refresh my skin during the day and it's easier to apply by spraying it directly onto the skin.

I have been using this after cleansing and before moisturising and it had worked quite well! It definitely reduces pores to almost make them invisible and made my skin extra smooth especially on my nose area where I have the most pores. It makes the skin look and feel fresh and clean. I will be using this as part of my regular skin care routine

This is the one product from that range that I would use again. I really love the fresh smell. It has salicylic acid in it which I love for acne prone skin. It was a really nice toner
