Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

Unfortunately my sample arrived after I left to go on holiday so I have only had a few days to trial it so I can't comment on whether it has any anti-aging effects. It does however make my skin feel very smooth & nicely hydrated. As I have been away I have a bit of colour on my skin & so the medium colour I requested is OK but I think a lighter tone would suit me better normally. Would I use it again? - yes though to be honest I think it is more ideal for holidays (for me personally) as it reduces the amount of lotions & potions I would need to take away. I have not tried any other BB creams but after trying this one will do so if only to see how it compares to other brands. In saying that as it did what it said it would I may not need to bother. I marked it down slightly as I personally did not feel the even skin tone was achieved but again that could be because I have just come back from being in the sun (wearing high factor facial sunscreen of course ha,ha) I would definitely recommend it to my friends as some of them can't be bothered with complicated skin regimes so this would be perfect for them. I will continue to use it for a while to see how it continues to perform,

My skin is oily mainly around the T-zone, so products I use need to be non greasy. Cream was quite light going on, easy to apply, didn't feel greasy or like it was clogging my pores and gives me a light even coverage. Price is reasonable, would use again and recommend it to my friends.

I was hesitant to use a BB Cream - my skin is pigmented and acne scarred. My normal routine is a 3-step process of foundation, concealer and CC cream! So the BB cream on its own was never going to provide effective coverage. But I loved the glow it gave my skin. The cream goes on evenly and smoothly and the combination of the BB Cream and my foundation is a perfect day time solution.

I don't wear make up in my everyday life as a mum but this is great. A quick wash and BB application in the morning and I am out the door. It is light, non-clogging and the subtle tint really makes you "glow". Usually with a foundation you need a concealer for those stubborn bits but not with this, just a little dab in the problem areas followed by an all over application really does the same thing in a fraction of the time and the best part is you can't feel it on your skin. The tinting is so subtle that you don't need lippy/mascara to stop the washed out look, nor do you need blusher as your natural colouring still shows through, all this with the benefits of a moisturiser and sunscreen. The one down side I have found is the smell, it is not nice, admittedly I have a strong sense of smell so smells are often exaggerated, but I did become less aware of it after a little while. The packaging is compact enough that you could easily pop it into you handbag or overnight bag, yet it is still a generous enough size that it lasts.

The comments on your site say it has SPF 15. No where on the cream did it say it has SPF, so was using an SPF cream under it. At the end of the trial, the skin was feeling a bit smoother. Better than using a foundation as it gave a good & natural coverage without feeling thick & oily.

A confession up front: I don't like the packaging much for this product. Too busy, cheap-looking. But thankfully, the product inside is a lot more attractive!

I normally wear a full-coverage foundation (Double Wear from Estee Lauder) and have some pigmentation concerns, so I was curious as to how this BB cream would deal with those - as well as how it would suit my older skin. And the answer is: pretty well, actually.

I used the cream with no other primer or moisturiser (except eye cream), and it didn't seem to need anything else. I ended up using two applications as per instructions, so coverage was good and I felt my skin looked much brighter and fresher than with my more matte foundation. It stayed on my skin well too, and kept my skin feeling hydrated all day.

The price for this product - especially compared to my usual foundation - is exceptional, and I will certainly be buying it again for weekend and holiday use. Can't quite give up the full-coverage foundation for work!
