I had the pleasure of trialling this product. My skin is combination oily/dry and I chose the medium shade. I found the consistency very smooth, creamy but light. It was very easy to apply, smelt wonderful, and I loved how light it felt on my skin. You could feel instant light tightening or lifting of the skin. It looked very natural once on, skin looked radiant and glowing throughout the day. Your face was moisturised as well which is fantastic as my skin can get very dry. I agree that the price is right for this product, very reasonable and affordable. The packaging contains a lot of information which is great and looks good too. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, my mother loved it and so will my girlfriends.

This was my first trial for BR and I must say I was super excited when the product turned up! The box for this BB cream had a LOT of info on it and not the most pretty packaging I have seen, but I happily read all the info, keeping my fingers crossed that it would deliver all that it claimed. The tube itself was more modern and pleasant to look at, and I was pleased the lid was a flip top rather than a screw top. The consistency was quite thick and creamy and there was a floral fragrance - I'm not too keen on fragrant creams, but it was pleasant and I got used to it after a day or two. Upon applying the cream, I instantly noticed that it diminished the look of my "smile" lines under the eyes and was surprised at how it gave me a nice glow. The colour I used was light and it was actually slightly darker than my natural skin tone....usually if I use light colours they tend to be a shade too light and can make me look ghostly, so was pleasantly surprised. I did find that after about 3 to 4 hours of wear the nice glow did wear off though, but it did continue to hydrate my skin throughout the day. Because of this, the next day I used it as a base and then applied my foundation over the top - I found this worked really well and my foundation actually seemed to last the full day.
As a whole, this is product is great value for money, so I would definitely recommend it. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the outer box packaging and the fragrance.
Tips: I found that applying this product as a base made my foundation longer lasting.
I didn't find this product very beneficial as I have Oily Skin, so not long after having put it on I found that my face looked all shiny which is not the desired look of course! On the upside, the coverage it provided was very good, and did even out my skin tone.
Unfortunately the overpowering smell ruined any chance of this product rating a decent score from me.
The product did apply smoothly though, and was easy to apply. It did even out skin tone and the colour wasn't too pale (compared to other products I have tried in the 'light' range which appear sickly on me. It's texture felt hydrating.
Worn only on it's own after about an hour though I noticed the product settling into fine lines. That said when worn with some light foundation and/or mineral powder it's coverage appeared just fine.
All positives noted, I'm afraid it fell over completely with it's smell. It was overly fragrant and smelt like a cheap product. No amount of positives could outweigh that negative for me.
In my mad morning rush to get to work, I don’t always leave myself enough time for make-up. This is the main reason why I’ve become a real fan of BB creams. The tint eliminates my need to wear foundation. However, this product was a little too dark for me (Garnier please consider a fair / light version!!!). Colour aside, Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream is thick and creamy, so its coverage ensures that it evens out your skin tone. As it doesn’t have the staying power of a foundation, I suggest you use it in conjunction with mineral make-up, or translucent powder if you have oily skin. It also has a strong fragrance. Unlike other products I’ve used, it hasn’t irritated my skin, or eyes. Overall, I would totally use this again if the tint was a little lighter.
Tips: Blend with your favourite moisturiser if it’s a little too dark.
This product seems to work well for my combination dry skin. Coverage is good, although slightly heavy - too heavy to combine with a normal foundation. Goes on smoothly and lasts throughout the day. Inoffensive smell - no problems there. Very good value for money - excellent price and nice packaging. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend and will buy again in future.
Tips: I combined this with a very light foundation to improve coverage when I needed slightly better coverage.
Well I should describe me before I can give you a review of the new Garnier BB cream. I'm 53, I have a fair complexion, with olive undertones. I don't have redness, but I do (still!) have breakouts to cover and of course lines and wrinkles, which adds a different dimension to my likes of a foundation coverage. I'm not going to compare packaging etc. to more expensive products so I thought for the price it was nice, it was easy to squeeze, I liked the colours and the fact it stands on its lid, also that it has a flip and not a screw on top. The texture was good and I found it reasonably easy to apply, it seemed to sit on the top of my skin and showed my pores so it was necessary to use my Kabuki brush to even it out, the coverage was light which I expected, saying that it did cover my skin variations. It surprised me with a lovely cooling feel. The first time I used it with full make up, I did not find it that easy to apply my blusher (powder) it didn't want to glide on. My test of a foundation is how it looks by the end of the day, it scored well, still had coverage and hadn't collected in my lines (which some foundations do and make the wrinkles look worse LOL). I have tried a BB cream before and wasn't impressed so I'm pleased to say, yes I would buy Garnier BB cream again, thank you Beauty Review for the chance to review this product as I probably wouldn't have purchased it.
Tips: Use a Kabuki or foundation brush to even the cream out when applying.
I am totally sold on Garnier BB cream and had just bought my second tube in. Medium. Then the very welcome anti ageing trial was supplied and so it was great to be able to compare the two. in fact on one day I used both of them, one on each side.
The new anti ageing felt a wee bit thicker to apply and smooth, it seemed to take a little longer to smooth over my face, the extra coverage wasn't really discernible. I am sure I would get used to it and will probably buy it in preference to the normal one because of my advancing years, because if the product has extra skin benefits I must take advantage of them. I rave about. Garnier BB cream to friends and use it every morning. If I am going out I sometimes use Natio Bronzing powder over the top, but now we are in winter I don't bother so much. If. I go out in the evening I touch up with my foundation. I am flying for seven hours tomorrow and would use my Natio foundation for the longer staying power.
To summarize.... Thank you for giving me the chance to trial and review, I will always use it and recommend it to my friends and family. As far as I am concerned it has blown all the other old fashioned tinted moisturisers out of the water.
Tips: Try with L'Oreal magic Blur cream for silky smoothness
I was excited to try this, as Im a huge BB cream fan, and especially this new one as its for a mature skin! Im 50/50 on this BB cream, I didn't like the fragrance it was quite strong, and it does give your face a glow, but also can make it look oily and shiny so I had to brush over some mineralise face powder to tone that down. I was happy that it had a SPF in it, it gave me great coverage and a little goes a long way. To sum it up for the money and being a product that is affordable and does so much Id use this and recommend it. It just goes to show you dont need to spend the earth to get a good product for your face that has many benefits!
Tips: You may need to brush over some face powder as it does leave your face quite shiny.
The first thing I noticed was the uninspired packaging the product came in. If I'd seen it in the shop, I doubt I would have given it a second look. There's also far too much information printed on the box. If we really want all that information, we can look it up on the website. Garnier needs to consider a less cluttered, eye-catching design to capture the attention of the over 40 women.
As for the product itself, I was dubious because I've had bad luck with cosmetics in the past. I tend to have very dry skin and make-up always seemed to become dull and flaky a few hours after I'd applied it. However, I can say after testing the Garnier BB Anti-Ageing Cream, I did not have that problem. It went on easily and I was pleased to note that it had a nice, refreshing smell. While it doesn't exactly give you "instantly perfect skin" as it promises on the box, it does even out and help mute any blemishes or skin imperfections. It made my face feel fresher and smoother than it has in a long time. At the end of the day, it looked just as it did when I put it on.
Overall, I was impressed with this product and would definitely use it again.
