Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I received this product from Beauty Review as part of a free trial and have been using it regularly for a week. I can't make any claim about the anti ageing qualities of this as it would, I'm sure, take weeks if not months to come to any conclusion. I suspect there would be very little to see though, and it's not a reason I would buy this BB cream anyway. All I ask from a BB is a smooth, long-lasting tint of colour. And in that, this delivers. I used this over Benefit's Porefessional primer and under MAC mineralise skin finish powder. Basically I used it as a light foundation. I applied it with a damp beauty blender, which worked well, although if it was too damp it went on a bit watery. The consistency was thick coming out of the tube but spread easily and cleanly and disappeared into my skin to give a natural colour. It was a light coverage and I still had to use concealer on redness around my nose. The combination of primer, BB and powder lasted all day, with no shine. I was really impressed, as by afternoon my skin felt heavy but didn't look it at all. The product has a light, pleasant smell, and the colour (light) was a good match for me, although it was warm toned rather than cool, which I would have preferred. The packaging was neither here nor there, I don't pay much attention. Very impressed with this, and will happily repurchase.

I have never worn foundation and only wear a minimal amount of make-up (bronzing powder and mascara only). I was intrigued to try the BB cream to see if it would suit me. I am 45 years old with mature skin and a reasonable amount of fine lines and wrinkles having been a sun lover most of my life. I have a normal skin type and do not usually experience issues with facial moisturisers/creams. The Garner BB cream (medium) was probably thicker than I expected and visually and consistency wise was much more of a make-up than a moisturiser. It was relatively easy to apply although I found I had to rub it between my fingers on both hands to ensure it didn’t go on to thickly. Application/coverage was achieved quickly and it was relatively easy to ensure an even application. There was a distinct fragrance to the cream that was not unpleasant and I did not notice it within minutes of application. Not being a foundation wearer I cannot really compare the coverage to anything. I applied it in the same way I would a moisturiser but personally felt it to be much heavier and oilier than a moisturizer and I didn’t really feel that the cream sunk in fully for quite some time after application, once it had though I would say the finish was matte however I did feel I could possibly put a brush of powder over the top as it still felt a little oily. I would definitely not have wanted to apply it any heavier than I did initially, I really did feel like I was wearing make-up as opposed to moisturizing. Visually my skin looked brighter, I would call it a healthy glow, however I was unaware of any evening of skin tone and if anything I felt it excentuated my wrinkles. The product lasted all day, I definitely felt like I wanted to wash it off by the end of the day. I can’t really comment on price point of as I would not usually purchase this sort of product, for me I would not purchase this again, although this is probably due to it being too much like make-up for my likeing, I felt as though my skin couldn’t breathe properly. The product is in tube with a flip top lid that you squeeze out the required amount for application, the packaging made this easy to control this amount. It arrives boxed with all the claims of the products properties clearly shown on the packaging. In summary, I used the cream every morning for at least a week however I would not purchase this product again, to me it was how I imagine light foundation would be and I did not see any of the skin tone evening properties or a reduction in the visibility of fine lines, if anything I felt these were excentuated. My partner confirmed that my skin looked brighter and quite natural in colour however I felt like I was coating my skin rather than feeding it.

I used the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti Ageing all week and felt it performed as promised, I have in the past used Garnier BB Cream, however the anti -aging felt more moisturising and rich. I definitely recommend this for those of us over 40. It felt like a mousse to apply and was a lovely texture and consistency.I liked the look and feel of the product when first applied but did not think it was still looking great at the end of the day. My skin stated of dewy but I did feel the need to reapply at lunchtime due to a shiny nose. I love the packaging (or lack of) as simple, minimalist is the best.

I am 40 years old and just started using makeup again since my early 20's and a lot of the foundations I use make my skin feel as if it is dry and it's hard to apply but this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti Ageing was easy to apply it felt smooth on my skin and didn't dry out my skin. I am quite lucky to not have wrinkle yet but Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - Anti Ageing gave my skin a natural glow.

I was initially surprised at how chemically the product smelt when you first squeeze it from the tube. This then disappears once you have applied it. It has a good coverage even on my skin which is quite dry and high coloured in parts. I still needed concealer as I am used to the coverage of a 24hr foundation. The box mentions the product includes sunscreen but unfortunately does not indicate what SPF which if included would assist users decide if a separate sunscreen was required. I wouldn't purchase this for myself as the size of the product for the price I feel is expensive. It could be good for those looking for a light coverage for day time.

I have a few patches of dry skin which I feel Garnier BB Anti Ageing Cream has helped to moisten making my skin feel and look more even and refreshed with a slight glow. Application was easy and smooth using finger tips in a circular motion to get an all over cover and then out to the sides and down the chin to neck to remove any lines that maybe showing. But over all application was quick and easy to do and with the creamy consistency of Garnier Anti Ageing it was not hard to get an even cover leaving my skin with a firm but soft velvety sheer feeling. This I found lasted the whole day without having to renew during the day especially if I used a light cover of powder over the top. The price for this product is within what I would call normal for this type of product. The tube with the design of the cap made it easy not to use to much at one time and the box packaging is adequate. But the packaging would not influence my purchasing this product. I will continue to use this Anti Ageing product so as to get a proper result as I feel that 10 days is not long enough to make a good and fair finale judgement.

I have starting to develop a couple of age spots? Still have a normal skin but thought that I would have to start treating these spots asap. They really unflattering I found the Consistency of the BB nice and creamy not watery like some other I tried - also tried different application methods and have found the best way it ti apply it with my foundation brush by stippling and the using a make up sponge to smooth it over. I use this BB cream as a good base for my normal foundation - mousse. also found it seems to assist in blending contouring better then just base alone. It does not have much of a smell and reduce a lot of the redness on my face (winter) when wearing the BB cream on its own - found it really easy to smooth out over my skin. The coverage is quite sheer and I found i could wear it alone iver weekends or after hours with just some lipgloss and mascara. Used it every day for nearly two weeks and quite sure it will last for another 2-3 weeks. Price wise I have found it quite afforable compared to other BB creams on the market because of its versatility I think the price is really well worth it The squeese tube upside down holder is really handy to keep the product easy to use but i do think the carton is a bit of a waste I do believe the product works well and in line with what Garnier claims it to do and will definately recommend it to friends an d have bought some for my 18 year old daughter and have also one for my 60 year old mother who gave it a try when visiting - they were both impressed

I enjoyed using this brand of BB Cream. It was moisturising but not greasy or streaky. It's coverage was good but not heavy. I have a bit of redness & dry skin in patches and it covered them well. It has a nice texture and pleasant fragrance but not too strong. I will definitely purchase again and the fact I can get it at the supermarket definitely appeals!

I've heard great things about this product before from friends and family so was very keen to give it a go myself. It glided on smoothly with non of that gluggyness that my usual liquid foundation comes with. So beautiful and light but unfortunately the light version was still a few shades too dark for my ghostly complexion(almost everything is). That aside it made my skin look healthy and dewy and worked perfectly over my thin lizzy concealer. Would not recommend for oily skins though, an hour after applying I was already dabbing at my face to get rid of the shine. Definitely a great product for those non-oily, non-ghostly pale girls.
