Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

My skin is dry and dehydrated, though can get oily patches; and is an olive complexion.

I had very high hopes for this BB Cream especially as it was one of the first of the brands to come out with the BB Cream. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the cream. I ordered a 'medium' colour, as often the light ones are too light and I didn't want to look washed out. My skin is generally a medium colouring for a lot of products. The colour looked quite dark straight out of the tube but once applied wasn't as dark. On my skin it was quite a pinky orange hue, and not a good match to my skin tone. I also had an issue with the smell- it reminds me of fake tan and hung around throughout the day.

I occasionally have sensitive skin but am normally fine with most products, this product however left my cheeks red once the BB cream was removed.

Packaging was fine, a handy sized tube. Price is great if the product worked for me, however I am happy to pay more if I felt it was a better product overall.

Lastly, the product would benefit from stating the SPF level and whether it is broad spectrum UVA, UVB on the bottle

I love BB creams and my stash currently contains 2 MAC BBs and a Clinique CC cream. To be honest, I've been a bit of a snob when it comes to these as I've tried a couple of supermarket brands with less than average results, however this Garnier product performed well above my expectations... I have pale skin with heaps of freckles and a fair dollop of what I'll politely call "fluff" so finding a product the right colour and consistency to calm the red, but not look like your trying to plaster something over the top is a struggle. This Garnier BB cream is thick, but goes on really well (no trouble blending with either fingers or a brush). Finish is definitely 'dewy' so I cover with a layer of sheer powder just to battle the dreaded nose-shine. It doesn't sit in the pores either (which is important for a girl who no longer gets asked for id if you know what i mean!). Colour match for me is actually better than my MAC BB cream and product overall is better for me than the Clinique CC cream I bought. Coverage is fine for me for work, doesn't hold all day but then neither do my other BB creams. Overall very pleased :)

i normal have normal to oily skin am 47 years old next week,when i first applyed the bb cream i was amazed at the consistency,i thought it would not be as thick as it was and when applied it gave alot more coverage than expected,i applied it with my fingers for 2 days on the 3rd day i used a brush so i could see how it looked,i found both ways were both suitable,i found it had no smell ,and the coverage way light although the color bb cream was also light so i put on 2 layers ,i could not even feel it on my skin ,very lightweight,not cakey and it never fell into my fine lines under my eyes,very impressed about that like all woman would be.the packaging was easy to get into the tube had a flip up lid and easy not having to find the lid to put back on being a flip top it stayed on the tube.after a few days my skin was loving it,it could breath without suffercating in a full coverage makeup,and its thanked me by having no breakouts all week while useing the bb cream.i am glad i don"t have to give it back after this week i have a couple of months worth left and sorry i am now using it daily.lol

Very good product for the price, I found it a bit thicker than other BB creams I have tried but it was really good and left a really nice glow that lasted all day! The only think I did not like is that it said it had sunscreen but did not say what spf so I did not know if I could reley on it as a sunscreen like I have with others I have tried.

Packaging is attractive and not bulky and "instantly perfect skin" written on the front yes it says buy me.No expiry date but dermatologically tested and contains sunscreen. Bonus. It states it reduces wrinkles,firms,illuminates and hydration, all that for your skin and more. BB does stand for a beauty balm:) it's not a foundation, a slightly green tea sent a very pleasant smell.So the Anti-ageing BB is loaded with quite a few goodies that are meant to be good for your skin. Mineral pigments, Pro-Xylane (that's meant to firm your skin)

I'm using the medium shade, and yes it's really a good colour, at first I thought it was to dark but nope it just blended in.Doesn't sit on top of your skin it does soak in. I did moisturise first (my skin is dry) it does seam a we bit thicker in consistency than other BB creams that I have used (but this is my first anti-ageing BB cream ) it is easy to apply I put it on like I would a moisturiser, just used my fingers and rubbed it in.I did try it just as a moisturiser and that was a disaster, I had to put to much on to get the moisturising affect. So the moisturiser and then the BB yes a really lovely combination for me.

Lovely to wear, it has survived the gym sessions gave me a nice bit of coverage:) it made my skin look healthy and glow, I did have to apply a little bit more on during the day, but overall very impressed. Looked nice with a powder on top, fantastic under a foundation as a base. But for those days you don't want to wear a foundation BB cream is just perfect. A nice natural look.

Coverage is great and depending on how much you use how much coverage you get. Yes it did even out my skin tone and illuminated my complexion and yes gave my face a slightly dewy finish, so no drying out.I did have a slightly tightening feeling for the first half hour of application, and yes quite possibly my skin did look slightly firmer but my wrinkles didn't look any more plumped out, but it is slightly light reflecting and that's always good.

A great product for the price, I do use BB creams and this has been my first anti-ageing and it's a winner.

I am really impressed with this BB Cream. I had been using an expensive product over three times the price of the Garnier product. I thought it would only provide bare coverage but was very pleased with how professional my appearance looked. It is very smooth as a base for eye-shadow and blush to stroke onto. I have pigmentation issues and these were minimised as well without having to use heavy make-up. I like the fresh look of my skin and have had comments on how well I look. I am using the medium and the only thing I would change is to go to the lighter shade for Winter.

I have not used a BB cream before and I did like the look and feel of this on my skin, it covered my thread veins very well and went onto my skin nicely but I did not like the smell particularly. I think it would have been better un scented. Overall very good tho, I was surprised the light colour actually matched my skin tone very well. It was quite moisturizing so good for skin my age.Not sure how it is anti-aging but it covered my blemishes and veins/redness so was happy with that and I will probably buy another tube once I run out of this one.

I found this product to be creamy & feels a lot lighter than I expected when applied to my face. It gives great coverage & evens out skin tone and left my skin feeling moisturised and fresh. The fragrance was light & pleasant and lasted the day. I would recommend this product and was impressed. I would like to see what it is like in summer as it also has a built in SPF15 which I really like in a moisturiser. I think it would be the ideal all in one make up essential.
