The packaging looked quite nice, almost sophisticated and not too big. The smell was quite nice but not overpowering. I chose the normal skin type. It gave fairly even coverage but got stuck in my eyebrows. Colour blended well with skin tone. Not sure about age defying, but the colour made my skin look younger, but didn't see an affect on my skin as a whole although maybe after prolonged use I will. Not an overly expensive product but I don't think I would pay for it as I have used products which I prefer more. It looks nice on, almost foundation like, but also has that feel....not so much a moisturiser.

Tips: Avoid your eyebrows.
Garnier anti ageing bb cream looked and felt great on my skin was easy to apply and you dont need much at all i found it best to re-apply halfway through the day to keep me looking good all day it has a great texture and smells good too would love to use regularly but found that it flared up my exema other than that I highly reccomend tjis product
Tips: Apply with a damp sponge for even coverage
I have used a couple of the Garnier BB creams over the last two years, and have always been happy with them. They are a very reasonably priced option. As a 37 year old woman, I am constantly in search of an anti-Aging product that doesn't cause too many breakouts... Unfortunately during the last 10 days I have noticed some issues with pimples. In saying that I do like the coverage and feel of this one compared to their oil-free bb cream. The consistency is quite thick, which I find helps in applying it, as it doesn't drip through your fingers. It has a pleasant unobtrusive smell, and successfully evened out my skin tone. I sometimes used it on its own, and sometimes under a mineral powder for a more polished look.
Tips: Garnier remains a great option for bb creams to fit most skin types... Mine just needs to figure out what type it is!
Gave my skin a lovely glow without looking like a foundation, stayed in place and didn't move to my creases. My skin felt soft at the end of the day but I did get some sensitivity around my eyes but still kept using it as it was a nice smooth creme to apply and looked good.
Tips: Keep a tube in the car as a back up when your to busy in the morning
First thing I noticed about this cream was the scent. It was quite pleasant, but strong for a makeup. I felt that it was a bit overpowering, especially seeing as it is going on the face. However, after half an hour I didn't notice it any more, or it had dissipated.
The cream went on smoothly and blended very easily. I had the 'light' tint but I have very fair skin, and especially pale in winter and found it to be a little too dark for my colour. It did even out the overall colouring, and the finer lines of my face without being too heavy. It felt nice and light and my skin felt it could still breathe.
Couldn't rate how effective the SPF was as we have had no sun!
I can't say that my skin felt any firmer or appeared less wrinkly than using my usual moisturiser, but it did feel nice to use.
Tips: If you have fair skin, it might be best as a summer makeup base.
Quick and easy to apply for those in a hurry.
Looks good on its own, if you don't want to do the whole makeup look.
Great little product, I don't have great skin, very sensitive / combination skin, so was a bit worried it would make me break out but No!!! Creamy product goes on smooth, sheer to medium coverage that lasts all day (9ish hours) great for those days I didn't need to have a full made up face : ) love also that is has a SPF. Light fragrance when applying. Would definitely use again, good price compared to other BB creams I've tried. I've only been using a week so can't tell if the anti-wrinkle properties are working yet..?
Being a busy mum I am always looking for ways to save time but still look half decent before I race out the door with the kids. I've seen lots of marketing hype about BB creams but never tried them myself, With combination skin (oily t zone and dry everywhere else) I have wasted a lot of money on products which make my skin turn into an oil slick on speed so I am always reluctant to throw money at products that may not work. So, you can imagine my enthusiasm to trial a BB cream without any risk. Then I read the box and what's not to love about a product which reduces wrinkles, firms skin, evens and illuminates, correct blemishes and 24 hour hydration plus a sunscreen. It was love at first sight! So did it deliver?
The first thing that you notice when opening the product is the scent, it's pleasant and subtle. The texture of the cream is thick but it blends well and is absorbed into the skin not immediately but eventually. The coverage is good. It did provide even coverage as outlined on the box. Did it illuminate or reduce wrinkles? The jury is out on that along with firming the skin. It didn't settle into my lines as promised on the box and it deliver on moisture. My skin, although shiny by the afternoon didn't suffer like it has with other products. It is winter and the true test would be a summers day but based on winter conditions, it held up well. I trialled the "light" colour which was a perfect match to my skin tone.
The only negative comment would be that I found this product could not be used near the eye area. Although not specified as a warning on the product or packaging, as the day progressed the product moved into my eye which caused stinging and my eyes to go red. The first day this occurred I put it down to something in my eye but as the days went by it became a real problem. When I stopped using it on my eye lids etc the stinging and redness disappeared. I can wear foundation and concealer close to my eyes without any issues so this is the first time this has ever happened.
Would I still use it? Absolutely. Anytime I just needed a light coverage or was running late, it would be my go to product. It would be good to see a more natural product but when it comes to BB creams, I'm now hooked.
Tips: Don't use near the eye area. Beware in summer if you have oily skin.
I'm a fan of BB creams and this one really performed. I tried the Light colour and my initial impression was that the colour was heaps darker than other brands I've tried (Nivea, Cover Girl, Maybelline) and wouldn't work well with my pale redhead skin. My 49-year old skin has an oily T-zone with dry, reddish cheeks and the colour blended in surprisingly well, providing enough coverage to even out my complexion and cover my large pores. The cream is quite thick but doesn't make you feel like you have a faceful of 'slap' on your skin. I do prefer a matte look and dusted translucent powder over the top. By the end of the day my skin did not feel as oily as it did with other BB creams I've used. The cream smells somewhat like cold tea - quite fresh and not highly perfumed, which I liked. I'll reserve judgement on Garnier's claims of firming my skin and reducing wrinkles - can't say I noticed any difference after a week of use, but perhaps that may happen with extended use (one can hope!). Definitely will keep using this product; great value for money.
I was really impressed by this product. What I liked about it was that it was easy to apply and simplified my routine making it a great product to take away on holiday. I liked the mousse like consistency and the fact that me skin was still moist by the end of the day which is a boon when working in air conditioning. My only problems were that it reacted on my skin after a few days but happily I see that there is one for sensitive skin which I will definitely be trying. The colour was my other concern the medium being a bit too orange for me but in summer it may be fine. I am excited to try the one for sensitive skin
Tips: A little goes a long way
This is very smooth and easy to apply evenly. Maded my skin feel smooth but I found it was a bit shiny which I don't really like. I used this under my foundation as it did not cover enough for my liking. I do have redness in my skin that I like to cover. Did not really notice any difference in firming my skin or wrinkles, but that was after trying for a week. It may do in time.
