As the title suggests, I was pleasantly surprised by this cream. I thought it would be a very thin tinted moisturiser (not having used any type of BB cream before) but it was thick and gave really good coverage. It didn't upset my skin -( I'm currently pregnant and my skin is going haywire!!) I can't say if I noticed any reduction of fine lines and wrinkles to be honest (but it has only been a week). But I enjoyed the pleasant smell. The only downside? The colour. Even though I used the "light". Cream, it was still too dark for my complexion. If there was an "extra light" or an "I blend into white walls" colour..... That probably would have suited me better

The first thing I did when I received the product was check the smell. It smells similar to another skin naturals moisturiser that I tried and I wasn't fond of the scent. It smelt greeny chemical. The product was thick and went on smoothly with no problems. I liked the thickness of the product. I used the light version and it blended well with my skin tone. I only used one coat of it on my skin. on the box it does say you can do two. I just used my fingers. I meant to try using a sponge as well but forgot to. It didn't seem to leave much product in the ridges of skin when wiped off with a tissue. Because the product was creamy, I followed up with Almay wake up powder, to keep it relatively matte and free from shine for most of the day. The one day I didn't powder by lunchtime my face was feeling a little greasy. It also seemed to cause a mini break out where I don't normally get pimples, 3 small ones on the cheeks and nose. I can't see any major change on my wrinkles but I will finish the tube as it does say on the box "Skin appears smoother for 86% of women" I figure for the tubes amount, I would like to use till finished and see if it does. I have only used for 9 days so far. Over all would I use it again? due to the scent more than likely no. If they change the scent likely yes ******************************** update 27/8/14 I have been using this one basically every day and I still have about 1/2 a tube to go, It feels never ending. Has there been any reduction in my wrinkles? well not noticeably so. I prefer using my fingers to apply this, I have used the sponge but I think it just uses more of it in the sponge than on my face and I don't feel I get the coverage with the sponge that I do with using my fingers. I have increase part of my rating by 1 point to 3 on "would I use it again". I still find the smell a little off putting.
Tips: Let your moisturiser dry for about 5-10 minutes before you start putting on foundation so it has time to sink into the skin.
I was so looking foward to using this product as had heard so much about it. I got it, lovely packaging - liked that it told you what it was, what it does etc instead of having to look around the box for info like so many other products. Unfortunately it didn't agree with my skin - even after the 1st use, so had to stop the trial. Although I couldn't test it properly, I can see it's appeal - such an easy product to use & can just be popped into your hanbag in a hurry for easy use on the go :o)
My experience with this product was overall unimpressive, I applied with a clean sponge I use for foundation, although I dont usually have a red complexion, this product actually made my skin look red, so coverage not great at all, also it made my skin feel "Powdery", also had to vigorously wash to remove any excess from my hands. I don't get wrinkles so can't vouch for that claim. Keeping in the spirit of the trial I did keep using it for 3 days, (Whilst at home), On the up side did leave my skin feeling a little firmer, smoother and definitely a slight glow to my face after I removed it, it also felt lighter then a few other products Ive tried. Wouldn't bother buying it to use again as is quite costly and didn't really perform as well as desribed
when i first put it on , it looked good , it covered most of my blemishes , didnt make me too orange . but after an hr or so my face started getting very greasy. this could be fixed by brushing on a powder , but i think ill keep looking for a bb cream that will better suit me.
This was one of my first make up products and I had nod experience with make up beofre so I thought it was quite good, I then stopped using it after I discovered other make up brands but I soon went back to it.I started wearing it again and it made me break out and didn't stay on as long as it used to, I think they changed the formula. I no longer use it very often because it gives me acne but it was quite a good first make up product!
this is the third brand of BB cream that i have tried and is probably the middle of my preferences (above the Avon one and below maybelline). This is a very thick consistency and is a bit clumpy. it is more of a medium coverage foundation to be honest. however the coverage is pretty decent and it doesn't feel to thick again. it is not one of the never touched items in my makeup collection but i am unlikely to buy it again
As a reviewer with highly sensitive facial skin, I have to be terribly careful as to what products will actually work on my face. When trying this BB Cream, I have found that it dried out my T-zone, my nose and my chin. As a moisturiser, I was not impressed and had to make sure that I used a generous amount of 'other' moisturisers as a base. The liquid was very runny and would go everywhere, was very hard to clean off any surface, especially my clothes. I did like that the finished look was that of a very even glow, so yes it did do what it says it does, but also highlighted all the wrong things about my face. Sorry, will not be buying again.
I thought I'd give the anti aging BB cream a try, I have fair skin so choose the light colour shade not the medium. The consistency of the cream was very thick and did not blend easily, i thought it had quite a sticky feel and needed quite a bit of powder to set it in place . On my skin the cream looked iridescent and covered minor flaws,I quite liked it. The problem was two hours latter the product had completely melted off my skin leaving an unpleasant oily shine. I've used it since and find it has no longevity and lI need to keep reapplying the cream.
Tips: I used a primer underneath the BB cream,This helped with the shine and prolonged the look on my skin.
My first and lasting impression of this BB cream is the fragrance. And unfortunately it puts me off it. I think it works as an illuminating base and I did like how it blended with my other foundations. If you want a dewy sheer look this will satisfy. I found I still had to apply concealer as it didn't give me as much coverage as I would like. I am undecided as to wether my skin felt firmer. It does tend to sit on the surface of my skin, and I found it did transfer onto things like my phone. It is nice, and does give a soft dewy look, I just can't stand the Garnier fragrance. Thats my personal preference. I will continue to use it as a base or add it to my other foundations.
Tips: Use a setting powder to give it a matte appearance when you want more coverage and less tranfer.
