Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I was pleasantly surprised by this one, it being a supermarket product!

I used the light shade. As I have very pale skin the match wasn't perfect but it wasn't glaringly dark orange like some tinted products can be. The fragrance is subtle and clean, no perfumes to make me all sniffy!

I applied the product to clean skin with a foundation brush. The coverage is very sheer so I had to build up the layers a bit in problem areas, but the texture was really good (neither greasy nor cakey, it dried but didn't feel tight). It reflects the light/has a slight sheen to it so it looks pretty natural. I would tend to use concealer for the extra coverage, but I still feel like this product could replace my foundation.

This product is my holy grail BB cream product. I haven't tried any other BB creams (except the other Garnier ones) and I don't think I ever will!

I like the tube. It's long and thin and fits (almost) perfectly in my lipstick holder in my makeup stand. It also holds less than the other tubes of BB cream from Garnier, but I find that it lasts a lot longer and you need a lot less of it compared to the others.

The formula is super runny, so you can store it any which way you want, but if you store it on the lid, make sure you are super careful when you open it because it will be like a little explosion! There is also a chemical smell to it, I don't always notice it, but I can feel it if it gets a little too close to my eyes.

I use a stippling brush to get this bad boy on, but you can use your fingers and apply it like a moisturizer, or a blending sponge, or whatever is in your arsenal! It gives off a light coverage, I find I can still see some bits of red on my cheeks, but foundation covers it almost immediately, and I use a green red reducing primer underneath so it helps out too.

This stuff lasts (on me) all day set with a powder or not, and it's fabulous. It sets matte-ish, actually matches my skin tone and is just generally nice to wear. My skin looks flawless if I wear this, which I do whenever I wear make up. I don't even use as much foundation as I would with this stuff underneath. It's that freakin' good.

I don't wear makeup often, so a whole tube lasted me a good year(ish). I don't need to buy another as I have a spare, but I will buy this again in future because I LOVE it!

When i first apply this i love the finish! but it is not longwearing at all - it melts off my face even after setting with a powder and oxidises quite orange. Its pretty good for the price, and not the worst BB i have used, but not the best either

So I got this to test out and it's alright I guess! Let's just get started okay Skin type; I have sensitive combination skin and this bb cream didn't affect my skin at all nor did it clog my pores so it passes that Consistency; it's super light and my skin feels like it can actually breathe not even kidding Fragrance; to me it kind of smells like fly spray and that's a little worrying am I right ladies!! Coverage; it has a very good coverage! Considering I have acne scars and it completely covers them. The finish is a sheer dewy type of finish not my personal fav Longevity; it stays all day but it kind of goes a little ashy towards days end Price; not sure how much it costs couldn't be bothered looking it up! Packaging; super shit!! I saw no results what's so ever haha I recommend if you're wanting to get away from the harsh chemicals in your every day foundation x

BB creams are the best thing to use when you just want good coverage but you want it to feel light on your skin. I have oily skin with pimple scars on my cheeks, so it a holy grail product I use nearly everyday. My first impression of the BB cream is that it's really creamy, so the consistency is good as I won't dry your face out from being to thick or watery which may make your face look oily, which I defintely don't want. All I need is three pumps on my both of my finger tips and I start on my cheeks and then work my way under my eyes, chin, neck and last of all on my forehead as that is the place that I don't need much coverage. After using it for a week I feel the coverage isn't the best, at first I would need to put nearly 2 to 3 layers on my checks to cover my scars and that would only last about 3 hours. With the retail price being $17 is very reasonable compared to other leading bb creams. The packaging of the box could be more simple cause when you see it first you are just bombarded with so much information about the bb cream, which is then repeated at the back of the box. The tube on the other hand is elegant and simple. Overall I think the bb cream is worth your money and I would definitely recommend this product to girls that don't have scars on there face and just need some colour without putting heavy foundations.

I loved the look of this bb cream. It really did perfect my skin, the colour matched perfectly! although, my forehead did get a bit oily throughout the day and i definitely noticed the nice finish wearing off. The packaging isnt cheap feeling or looking and i love the shape of the bottle. But i also found the formula unexpectadly runny. I wouldnt even squeeze the bottle and the product would be coming out. Would buy again, great cheap bb cream for the days where you don't want to cake on your face but still have the perfect skin look!

The consistency of this product is creamy. It was easy to apply, just with your fingers as there is no applicator. The BB Cream has no smell. It seems to have extremely good coverage, you dont need to use much. If you want a darker look you can apply a second coat. It lasts all day. I work in an office and it works well with my lifestyle. It seems quite economical. It comes in a tube that can stand up on the dresser when not in use, which works well for me and saves on save. The results after using this product for over a week are pleasing, as it does not clog my skin like some creams causing breakouts. My skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts and this product seemed to work well for me. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants a economical cream to use everyday with SPF 15 built in which is an added bonus.

I'm a huge fan of BB Creams, i've been using the maybelline dream pure one since it came out and it's been hard to top that.

I was sent trials for both the Garnier Oil-Free and Garnier Sensitive, and I definitely prefer the Sensitive.

I thought that the oil-free would be perfect for me as i have oily blackhead-prone skin, but instead i found that this product just clogged up my pores, and made my blackheads more noticeable. Yuck. As for the tube, it's not the most user-friendly. It's got a little nozzle which doesn't really close, so even with the lid on the lid ends up filling up with product... Such a waste and such a mess to deal with.

I suppose one definite upside of this is the fact that it's light, and it definitely zaps the shine off my face. Which is perfect, but that combined with clogged pores? Not something I want all the time.

Perfect for if I intended to go out on the town, at least my face will stay shine-free, and everyone will be too drunk to notice my clogged pores.

This product is just ok in my opinion. It gives good coverage but it's a very orange colour so I preferred to use it as a primer with a lighter foundation so that it could balance the colour out. Used as a primer it gives amazing coverage and makes my skin look flawless! The consistency is very watery and a little goes a long way. I quite like the tube, it's skinny so it fits well in my handbag. This is the first bb cream I have tried and I wasn't disappointed.

I love it. My skin type is mature, but not overly dry. I found it to be easy to apply, very light, blends in well, mildly moisturising, evens out my skin tone. In the weekend around the house I wear it as a moisturiser but as I have high cheek colour when I go to work I like to add a mineral powder on top to reduce the redness. It stays on well, I would definitely use it again. It exceeded my expectations
