Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

With any of these 'miracle' products I'm always a little sceptical. I had heard mixed reactions to this product so was really excited to try it for myself! I normally use a Mac or Clinique foundation, with Mac Concealer and a light bronzer for blending and colour. I have not used Concealer or Foundation since starting this trial! I am officialy in love with this BB cream! I normally have a 3pm oily glow on my face and need to touch up foundation, this BB cream eliminated that, my skin looks even and healthy, AND to top it off it's made getting ready SOOOOO much faster! I seriously cannot rave enough about this product! the only downside for me (and this is a tiny downside) is that its quite runny so if I rush I end up pouring too much out. I will definitely continue to purchase this and reccomend to all my friends!

I've been using this product for "light" skin tones, which is the lightest available color, however when worn, it is still a bit too dark for my skin tone and gives that badly matched foundation look unless the color is countered with a lighter powder over the top. The consistency of the product is very liquid, so it's easy to end up using too much. I've found that using a foundation brush to apply has been the best way to control this as I can wipe off excess product before applying.

Overall, it provides a bit of coverage and lasts all day without feeling like I'm wearing a lot of makeup. I did get comments about how healthy and "glowy" my skin was looking when I first wore it.

I haven't had a blemish breakout since I started using it which is a plus, as my skin will usually have major breakouts when using new products.

I would definitely use this again if it came in a wider range of shades with one available for a lighter skin tone.

I was absolutely thrilled to be one of the testers for the Garnier BB Cream in Oily Combination skin as I had used the Garnier BB Cream for Normal skin in light for probably about 5 years and I absolutely loved it however as soon as I hit 30 my skin changed to more combination skin so I had to change up my BB cream to meet the needs of my skin.

The first thing I noticed with this product is that the tube is long and thin and quite different to the others in the range, the dispensing tip was different too, it was a pointed nozzle rather than the standard flat nozzle. I found I preferred the pointed nozzle as it allowed more control over how much product used. The consistency is a lot runnier than the standard Garnier BB cream which made me a little hesitant as I thought the coverage would be not as great, however I was pleasantly surprised, I found the coverage to be a little better than the BB cream for normal skin.

Application, I used both my fingers and a flat top kabuki brush, I definitely preferred using my fingers as I found I could work the product into my skin a little better and I liked the finish. I did find that when I applied without a primer the product tended to sit into creases/fine lines a little but was easily resolved with a little primer and tapping the product into these areas rather than just rubbing over.

Colour wise I used the shade light and I would liken it to the Lioele triple the solution colour but perhaps a tiny bit darker, it was perfect for my skin tone when I used a little bronzer around my cheek bone area.

Results, the biggest thing I noticed here was that I didn’t have to use a setting powder after application, it is definitely a matte finish and I found I could get a good 5-6 hours wear without looking oily. The product is easily applied and the formulation covered my redness and evened out my skin tone. I didn’t find it too drying but was thrilled that the oil free formulation worked well with my combination skin.

This is definitely the BB cream for me and I am so glad I have found it!

Well, where do I start. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector. Well, It certainly lives up to it's name!! Goes on soooo smooth, extremely smooth. Seem to give me coverage for the time that I needed it. As for all day coverage, maybe a touch up or two along the way, if it's a long day. It is miracle stuff though, don't get me wrong. Using this put me back into my early 30's. I got so many compliments when I had it on. I was attending a course, with girls 25 years my junior. They couldn't believe I was 48 years old. They all had guessed early to mid 30's. What a head swell :) It evened out all my red spots, and also covered the scar I have on my throat, which I have been concious of since 1988, when it happened. One stroke of this over my scar, and it was completely gone. Amazing!! I love how a little goes a long way, thumbs up for the full size sample.It's very lightweight. The medium was perfect for my skin tone. I have made the unfortunate mistake in the past and bought BB creams before, and chose the wrong shade. I only got a week to trial it, but in that week, I noticed good results. It evened out my skin tone, and my pores look much better. I think it's just fabulous stuff. Makes your skin feel silky and soft, and with aging skin like mine. Any boost is a good boost. Suited me down to the ground. I am so happy and amazed, that I am going to buy some for my mum's belated mum's day present. Thanks Garnier and BR. love love love love love it!!

The colour was a good match with my skin tone and went on easily with great coverage. The product was rather runny when it came out of the tube and often too much spurted out which was a waste. It was easily applied and was light to the touch without my skin feeling as though it had anything on. I was pleased with how long it lasted on my face especially on my nose which is usually the first to go with other products I've tried. There weren't any adverse effects such as dryness or breakouts. I'd definitely look out for this in future when I need a replacement.

Well I was a little reluctant to change BB creams as I was happy with the one that I was currently using, However I am so glad that I did!!!!

The packaging for this isn't the most prettiest but it doesn't alter the fact this is an awesome product!

The consistency is very runny which made me wonder whether the coverage was going to be very good, what a surprise I got! The coverage is amazing and you could easily use it as a straight foundation as the coverage is amazing! There was not alot of wear through the day and no drying out!

My skin is very sensitive however this is for the combo to oily skin and yet it seemed to have calmed my breakouts down as its that time of the month!

I used it two days without any other cover bar a primer and two days with foundation. Its a great coverage once again and a brilliant base for a flawless look with foundation.

The only niggle that I have with this product is I ave had to stand it the opposite way round as when I had it the right way I undid the lid and it came out in bucket loads not a good look.

I tried applying without a brush and the coverage is a little less than with a brush but this is a wonderful product non the less.

It doesn't have a smell that is horrifying to the nose or does weird things on your skin.

I am well and truely happy with this product and will willingly put my holy grail BB cream now to rest and be using this daily!

I'm absolutely loving this bb cream so far. It concealed most of my blemishes, smoothed out my skin, covered my redness and made my skin look healthier and it didn't make my skin look like I had put my face in a bowl of oil like my current bb cream does. I didn't even have to moisturise or use a primer before applying the bb cream and I still got wonderful results. Overall I would rate this an 8/10. The reasons why it's only an 8 is because the product is too runny for my liking, as soon as I opened it, it dripped onto some important documents of mine and because it sets too quickly it makes it a lot harder to blend it out properly.. I would recommend that you only apply the bb cream to one area of the face at a time to get the best results.

I am a convert to BB creams. This cream came in a great easy to use tube with a small nozzle..to stop people like me squirting out far to much at a time. I found a little went a long way and it was easy to apply and provided great and even coverage covering those wee skin imperfections and leaving me looking glowing...not shiny.

My face had a lovely matte finish, no oil and no shine! It lasted all day long and was easy enough to remove at the end of the day. Indeed I am a convert....or perhaps at my age it's time to try the cc creams......thank you Garmier

When I first received this product, I thought the packaging was nice and the product was in a well designed bottle type thing. But, the first time I opened the product, I found that it was very runny and spilt everywhere which was a bit annoying. Now that I am aware of the consistency I don't spill it but it is very liquid like for a bb cream. I have found though, that the very liquid like consistency makes it easy to blend and spread product over my face without it all building up in one spot. I also don't use as much! The coverage is really good for a be cream and the colour is pretty nice too, just got a bit if orange undertones, but once blended out, looks fine. The finish is really nice and dewy which is a nice change up for me because previous bb creams I have used haven't given this nice finish. I have found that this product has not broken me out and has not left my face feeling extra oily. I have also not had as much of an issue with shine throughout the day which is awesome! I think the "oil-free" qualities in this are truly worthwhile. I have found that it maintains good coverage for most of the day and the finish of the product on the face has not altered much after a days wear. All in all I am pretty impressed, but the consistency really annoys me, but otherwise highly recommended!

I am very impressed with this BB Cream! It's definitely in my top 3 (I've used a lot of them!).

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream is wonderful, it really evens out my skin and makes it look amazing. I hate having oily, red skin and this works wonders for that. It has an amazing matte finish and feels great to touch.

I would highly recommend it for someone who has oily skin and is looking for a product to help with that. It manages my oily T-zone throughout the day and I can come home from work and my face still won't be oily. It provides light but even coverage so is perfect on its own or underneath regular makeup, I do a mixture, depending on how much coverage I'm after. I wear it alone to work most days and it keeps my skin dry but not dried out. Love this product!
