Finally i have found a BB Cream that does what it says it will do.. On the first day i applied it alone with no primer (which i always have to do) and it was great, I applied it with my Real techniques expert sponge, it applied so smooth and flawless and had great coverage. Now for the oil factor, I have such oily skin it is ridiculous. This is great as i always have to go really matte to cover the oil but i didn't have to while trialing this, for the first time I could have a dewy look without it looking like an oil slick. I am so so happy and think this may be my new "foundation"

GARNIER'S new BB Cream, combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.
The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.
GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.
It has a new active ingredient, Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.
Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish
GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Tips: If you like a matte look instead of dewy then a powder over the top and will work great.
I really enjoyed testing this product out. I'm still new to most things makeup and only tend to use BB cream on its own rather than with foundation.
The cream was thicker than I first expected, and I wasn't sure that it would match my skin tone at first but it blended out quite well and looked very natural. I used my fingers to apply it, and after a few days and a bit of practice I didn't seem to be using so much of the product each time.
The coverage of the BB cream was great, with all the redness and blemishes covered very well. I didn't even need to use concealer which was quite nice.
One issue I did have was that the BB cream wouldn't go matte on application. I ended up having a shiny face after applying it which wasn't what I wanted. However, it did do a really good job other than this.
Tips: Apply powder after application to get rid of any shininess.
Started by opening the tube and getting the product absolutely everywhere - turns out it is a lot thinner than the other Garnier BB Creams, more of the consistency of nail polish or thin foundation than moisturiser or concealer. Once on, however, the product spread well and gave great coverage, leaving my skin feeling smooth. It also didn't irritate my angular chellitis, which is a bonus as often new products do!
The product lasted quite well, too, only needing to touch up once or twice through the day.
Tips: Don't squeeze the tube too hard and do -not- leave in your hand bag/make up bag unless you're sure the lid is on WELL - unless you want BB cream all over everything, like I've ended up with....
I use BB cream on almost a daily basis and so I was excited when I discovered Garniers BB cream for oily skin. The formula itself was a runny consistency (Be careful when opening!) but went on evenly. Being a BB cream the coverage was light, but It did an amazing job at covering redness and those pesky dark under-eye circles. If you're after a natural look, then this is for you.
I found that while the BB cream was a lightweight, hassle-free alternative to foundation, it did little to reduce oiliness and by the end of the day the product had managed to disappear. In saying that, the tube is now empty so they must be doing something right ;)
Straight off I could see my skin was more even and natural, the redness of my skin was hidden and my blemishes were less visible. The product is very liquidity so it goes on my skin smoothly and I love the fact that it feels light weight, my skin can actually breathe. It’s also SPF15 - a definite must these days.
My Tzone gets super oily (eeeewww) so I still used a powder to finish and still had to apply powder during the day to keep the shine at bay.
I recommend the Garnier BB cream for a natural look during the day. It won’t be replacing my normal beauty routine but I’ll defiantly be keeping in my cabinet for times when I'm in a rush and popping out to the supermarket or something.
I was really looking forward to giving this product a try. My forehead is generally the most oil prone part of my face so I was hoping it would get rid of that sheen I was all too familiar with.
It started out great! I got the light shade and it was a great match. It was easy to apply, albeit a little runny, but I had been told this by a friend so I was prepared when I opened it. It evened out my skin tone slightly, it moisturised and made my skin feel soft and the oil looked to be a thing of the past! But in about 3 hours, the shine had returned. I was quite disappointed!
I decided to give it another go but try it with a powder on top to see if it gave it a little more lasting power, and it did, but only an extra couple of hours. It just didn't seem to want to stay on my face!
I will still use it occasionally because I love that it gives a nice finish when it's first applied. Would be perfect on those days when you're running late for the school drop off or something similar, but for an all day lasting product, I'd be inclined to pick something else.
Tips: - Be careful when you first take the lid off as it has a very runny consistency. I store my bottle upside down to prevent it flying out when I open it too. - I like to use a powder on top to prevent the oil returning within a couple of hours.
Garnier Miracle skin protecor oil- free BB cream just didnt suit me. It was to light for my skin and I got medium. I wish they had more colours. The bottle is sleek and it has a twist top lid which was easy to carry in my make up bag. However, what I found with this product is that it is very runny. It did give me a matte finish but it didn't last long. My face started to show the imperfections after a couple of hours. The product wasn't spectacular and I woudn't call it a miracle. My skin still wasn't even and it didn't give a good amount of coverage. The scent of this product wasn't nice. Personally I wont be purchasing this item.
I was interested in trying this BB cream because I had heard mixed reviews and am quite a fan of BB creams lately. The coverage is quite sheer which you would expect from a BB cream, but it went on evenly and I found it reasonably buildable and not too cakey when I reapplied after the first layer set. Not the longest wearing product though, after a few (3-5) hours I found that it would break down a bit around my nose and chin. I like that this has SPF in it though, so great for wearing every day (but probably will save this one for my good skin days!).
Tips: I found the coverage quite sheer, but buildable, so if you want slightly more than sheer coverage wait for it to set and apply again!
I've been using BB cream on a daily basis for over a year now, so I was excited to try this one out. I found it quite good, it gives me a good thin coverage (doesn't exactly hide blemishes but sort of blends everything in and gives me a more even tone). Two things I noted though: Even though I ordered the lightest colour, it is still a bit too dark for my skin, so for very fair people out there, they may find the same problem. Also, the product is very liquidy and I found when I opened the lid it drips out all over the place and it's difficult to control how much comes out. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I think I'll stick with my usual BB cream as the shade suits my skin better.
Tips: Be careful when you open the lid! It may drip everywhere :)
I must admit, I went into this trial not having too high of hopes!! I have tried BB Creams in the past and have not really been too fussed with them. I always just thought they were a remarketed Tinted Moisturizer, and if I was going to wear colour on my skin I wanted coverage that didn't make me look like a dirty, shiny mess (which I have found with tinted moisturiser).
Despite my hesitations I am always keen to try new products and when I heard there was an Oil Free option I jumped at the opportunity to give this product a go.
BB Cream – Oil Free in Light The BB Cream came in a nice black box with a picture and details of the product on the front/back, which gave it an upmarket feel (rather than in a clear fronted package or singularly). The bottle itself was long and slender with a cream colour, silver touches and a screw cap.
The formula is extremely runny which you must be careful of when opening up the cap otherwise it will drip everywhere. I first applied this using my fingers which was a little messy and uneven, however I applied this under my foundation so was not too worried as I would even it up upon foundation application. I was amazed at the results I got under my foundation. My skin looked smooth, healthy and Oil Free… I couldn’t quite believe it!! Another bonus, I did not need to apply as much foundation and did not need to set with powder as it left me with quite a matte finish. Most of the time I wore this under foundation using different tools for application: Fingers, Sigma F80 & RT Blender. I found the product was best to apply with either a brush or blender. The F80 gave a more sheer finish while the Blender heavier, I would recommend using brush or Blender not fingers. The last couple of days I have worn the BB Cream on its own with concealer and a little powder. I find the BB is great when building up and actually thought I would not need a foundation when applying two coats! I remained Oil Free all day and even received compliments on how flawless my skin looked! I initially thought the “Light” may have been too light but was really happy with the colour but I think I would use the Medium in the summer months. I always applied over moisturiser as I moisturise as soon as I have got out the shower. I have marked lower for results as I have not used for 4 weeks so unable to vouch with their 4 week use claims.
Overall I LOVE this Oil Free Garnier BB Cream and will make it a staple in my beauty routine. It really did make a difference in the appearance of my skin.
Tips: For anyone really Oily or wanting a Matte finish. Do not use on dry skin.
Update: Please note if you build this it has a slight Pink undertone. This may not be suitable for someone with very Yellow undertones.
