This BB has a slightly watery consistency which spreads well on your skin and blends easily. I used my fingers and a flat topped brush to apply and preferred to use a brush for application to get a more even cover. I tried this a few different ways - on its own, with primer and with primer and a setting powder on top. Overall I preferred to use this BB cream combined with an ELF primer and the Natio translucent setting powder on top. I did find that even though this is meant to be for oily skin, it did get a bit patchy around my nose and chin area by early afternoon no matter which way I'd put it on in the morning. I don't think I'd repurchase this but I'll use it at home for my "non make up" days just to even my skin out a bit.

GARNIER'S new BB Cream, combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.
The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.
GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.
It has a new active ingredient, Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.
Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish
GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Tips: Apply with a flat topped brush for even coverage and use a primer and a setting powder for longevity.
This product is really runny. As soon as I squeeze some onto my finger it runs, so I have to quickly use it. I even have to store the bottle upright so I don't get a surge of product coming out when I next use it.
It is a thin consistency but it's rather pigmented, so it gives a bit of coverage. It dries rather quickly, so I suggest apply on one area at a time and work it in.
I have oily skin and this product leaves your face feeling rather oily. It does leave a bit of a shine finish. After applying it on I blotted my face with tissue and there is oily residue on it, after this I set it off with powder. I do get a bit oily during the day, I can feel it on my skin, so do blot during the day. However it is long lasting and doesn't run off by the end of the night.
The packaging is very appealing in its sleek tube form. It doesn't really have much of a fragrance except for its chemical smell.
Tips: To make it last longer and appear less oily, apply primer and set with powder afterwards. Do blot with tissue paper or blotting paper during the day.
I have quite oily skin and most BB creams (and foundations) can leave me with a nice oil slick, especially on my forehead, however the Garnier Oil-Free BB cream was the first product to not leave me looking shiny! This BB cream goes on lightly, has a nice texture to it making it easy to apply, the long nozzle on the bottle also helps meaning you don't get a huge clump of product all at once. There was a simple fragrance that didn't overpower you. This product definitely gave me an even skin tone and hid pesky blemishes, it lasted reasonably well throughout the day, although not as long as standard foundation would obviously. I liked the fact that it also contained an SPF15. I would definitely continue to use this product and would recommend it to anyone who has an issue with oily complexion
Tips: Use with a primer underneath with extra long lasting coverage.
I'm a big fan of this BB cream for several reasons. First, the coverage, while light, still hides imperfections and gives you a flawless finish, making it perfect for daytime/work wear. I find applying it with a foundation brush also gives me better, more buildable coverage.
The staying power is good, especially if you set it with a powder (as I do). It lasts well throughout the day, and I just touch up with an extra layer of BB cream or powder if I'm wanting it to feel a bit more 'fresh' for post-work stuff. My favourite thing is that I can touch it up without it looking cakey too!
I have combination skin, but it tends to run drier in certain patches during winter. I find the formula good for my skin type, but make sure you moisturise (and perhaps prime first), as it can stick a wee bit to dry areas.
The colour (I used light) is perfect for fair skin. While the shade is slightly more suited to my summer/autumn tone, I can still convincingly use it in winter. This is a big pro for me, as I love products I can pull out at any time of the year.
I'd definitely recommend this product to others, especially those looking for affordable, lighter coverage.
Tips: As others have mentioned, the formula is very runny so keep this in mind when opening it!
Firstly how exciting to be part of such a large trial!
My skin type is combination (oily t-zone) and I occasionally suffer from some hormonal break outs (you would think that would stop being close to 30). I tested the colour light although I would say it is more light/medium.
The BB cream I tested came in a sleek 40ml tube that looked fairly expensive. It is a squeeze tube with a small nozzle at the end. I found the cream comes out very quickly, so you need to be careful and squeeze gently as the consistence of it is fairly runny.
Having said that, as it is a fairly thin liquid, a little goes a long way and I can see this product lasting a really long time.
I have been applying the cream with my fingers and I find it glides on beautifully and you really have time to spread the product across your face and neck. I also found that the coverage is surprisingly full and covers any imperfections or blemishes well. I have never used a BB cream before and I thought it would be much more sheer on the skin. I don't mind the coverage as I am in a client facing job so it is important I look presentable.
The fragrance of this product is quite perfumed but again I don't mind this, you might have to watch out on sensitive skin however.
When I first apply the cream I find that it goes on matte but throughout the day it has a much more dewy look to it. The cream is long lasting but if you are like me and have an oily t-zone, you will still need to powder half way through the day.
In all honesty I have not seen any major results and It doesn't seem to reduce my pores. However I do think it is a really nice inexpensive every day product for girls that don't like foundation. I also like it as it is lighter on my skin for this time of year.
Tips: Only use a small amount, a little goes a long way.
Love this!!!! I went for the medium color and this wa perfect for me. I apply with a brush - it goes on smoothly and doesnt need much blending, the texture is a little thicker than other bb creams I have used. This meant it covered more! I was able to wear this as my daily foundation by its self! It covered all my imperfections and looked natural. It also didnt feel heavy and seemed to give my skin a smooth look. It would stay put and lasted the whole day! My skin feels healthy and I believe it is a little less oily! I haven't noticed anything different about my pore size but perhaps thats too early for it. I cannot find anything unpleasant about this experience! Once this tube is used up I am going to buy me some more!!
Tips: A little goes a long way so start off with a small amount and build on that as you need to.
This is my second attempt to submit this review on Garnier BB Cream. I have heard a lot of people talk about BB cream but it is a product I have never used. I have only ever used foundation that was on special at the time and my much loved Thin Lizzy on top. Since trying BB cream OMG it is amazing and I find I no longer need to use my Thin Lizzy on top as the evenness and the complete coverage is amazing as is the subtle scent that is no way overpowering. I thought on the first time i used this product I found it to be powdery on application but within minutes it looked great and does not at all portray powdery look and wow it stays on all day looking great. I have had many people come up to me saying how good I am looking - thanks Garnier BB cream.
Tips: For a great evening look use Garnier BB cream on well moisturised skin and use Thin Lizzy on top with good emphasis on Thin Lizzy as cheek bronzer.
I have quite typical combination skin - dry cheeks with an oily t-zone. This BB cream went on smoothly, gave my skin an instant even tone and lasted well thought the day. I didn't have my usual 3pm oil slick on my forehead, or scaly patches on my cheeks. I was impressed with the lack of fragrance - I'm not a fan of smelly skin products, and the fact that it didn't take a lot of product to fully cover my skin. The tube should last quite a while!
Tips: Put it on a tiny bit at a time - it doesn't take much to cover my face & you don't want to waste it!
I really liked this BB cream. My skin can get quite oily so the oil free option was great for me. It was very light on my skin & coverage was great with only using a small amount. I used a make up sponge to apply & the cream gave my skin a smooth, matte look. I didn't notice any fragrance to the cream which is good as i personally don't like fragranced makeup. The packaging of this product was slimline & pleasing to look at. It was a decent sized tube with a fine nozzle making it easy to use. I only needed a small amount for each application so the tube would last me at least a couple of months! It lasted all day when used on it's own & i found my foundation lasted longer when i used the BB cream as a base. Overall i really liked this product & would definitely recommend it & use it again.
Tips: Use a sponge for great coverage & definitely use under foundation for an all day look.
I have tried a number of BB creams as I am basically a bit lazy and love the idea of a product that will moisturize, even skin tone and act as a foundation all with one application. However, the one problem for me with some of them is that they are a little too oily and leave a bit of a shine, which I would prefer not to have. Hooray, this new improved Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream for Oily/Combination Skin answers all of this really well. I didn't have any trouble with shine.
I used the product for a full week and really the main problem for me was that I had chosen Light, and I now know I should have chosen Medium as the Light is just a bit too pale for me. However, this did allow me to see that my mid afternoon there really wasn't a lot of cover left. However, that's not bad, and you can always reapply if needed as the thin tube is easy to carry in your handbag.
I have no real need for the SPF protection as I don't go outside much when I am working (which is when I am using it), but I realize that for those to whom this is important, it is an added bonus.
The actual consistency of the product is quite runny, which makes for easy application, but I always seem to make a bit of mess around me when applying it - just requires some caution when opening etc.
All in all, I like this product, and will try it in the Medium shade next time - and there will be a next time as it seems to be good value for money.
Tips: Choose the shade wisely, and watch that you are not making a mess when you have the tube open as it is a bit runny.
