Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I've tried quite a few bb creams and have had mixed results-one that didn't absorb properly, one that wasvery shiny and a few that the colour looked bad. I did expect to find a bb cream that would deal with all these issues but this one does. It absorbed quickly, was matte and the colour suited me perfectly. I love that it looks so natural yet covers imperfections so well. I found you don't have to use much so will last me a while and I didn't need to touch it up during the day.

I trialled the shade in 'light'. The consistency is very liquidy, I was expecting more of a cream. However the finish is flawless, slightly dewy not matte like the description states, but very natural with a velvet soft finish. Covers all my red discoloration , evens out skin tone. I have used this instead of foundation by building up to two layers, and I found a huge reduction in breakouts in my problem areas (chin and temples). There is a slightly alcoholic scent to it, but fades very quickly. I will definitely repurchase this product.

It's such a fantastic bb cream. It gives great coverage and lasts the whole day. It's also great because if you need thicker coverage or feel you need more later in the day you can just put another layer on without washing the other one off. I like that it's quite liquidy makes it a lot easier to get a good even application. It gives a really nice matte finish which lasts. Great for someone like me who is a chef. Even at the end of a long shift it's still matte and has good cover.

wow! this bb cream is the best I have ever used! I was currebtly using one at the time which made my skin oily but the garnier bb cream is smooth silky and soft. the coverage is amazing and blends in so well. I hardly used any to cover my whole face. it doesnt have a smell to it which is nice it made me feel fresh and lasts all day! 10/10 for this product would definitely recommend to everyone!

As a long time wearer of BB Cream, I am glad there is now a product targeted at combination or oily skin tones. This BB Cream did not irritate my sensitive, breakout prone skin nor did it dry my skin out. I am left with an evenly toned matte surface to work with daily. As a teacher with very busy schedule runnin around after students, I am impressed with the longevity of this Bb Cream, I am often able to wear the same make up from day to night without having to do a completely fresh application - a feet touch ups is all that is needed. I did find that I needed to use good quality night moisturiser to ensure good BB Cream results the next day. All in all, this is a great product! I will buy again and continue to use to see if the long term advantages will work for me!

I am a huge foundation user because I have oily skin and acne/acne scars however this bb cream exceeded all expectations...no more foundation for me! And my foundation normally cost upwards of $70 ! This BB cream is way more cost effective! My husband said it looks very natural and polished. I do use a mineralized powder on top for light coverage and to set the cream. The only con is I can't tell if it makes my skin a little oily at the end of the day or if it's just dewy and I'm not used to that because I'm used to heavy face powder to counteract the oily skin.

I naturally have oily skin and i decided that this might be the product that i would love to buy. The product did have quite a watery texture which is harder to put on,there as really no smell to this product which is plesent, as for coverage i will say that this product has a sheer mat finish which is nice and light. I put the bb cream on in the mornings and it did last till the afternoon with just a few touch ups here and there so that was wonderful.When i first got the bb cream in the mail i was pleased with the look and display of the bb cream in its packaging. Over all I was pleased with this product it did dry my skin up but i also believe that it needs to be slightly thicker. Yes I would recommend to friends this product is good.

I have tried a few different BB Creams and this one has to be my favourite! I have oily skin with the odd bit of acne so am pleased to have found a product that suits my skin.

The consistency is a little runny, which helps the product go on smoothly. It is quick and easy to apply - no need for anything fancy, just use your fingers. It isn't overly fragrant, which I liked.

The cream provides good, long lasting coverage. It helped my skin glow and helped make my pores look smaller. I have had lots of comments on how great I look. The finish was matte at first, however, I found after a couple of hours my skin was quite shiny. My solution to this was to apply a bit of powder afterwards to help set it and absorb any oil. This helped my skin look nice for alot longer.

With the exception of a bit of shininess later in the day, I do think the product does what it says it will do. After a week of using it my skin is already starting to look a lot smoother and clearer.

Overall I love this product! It is definitely good value for money and I will be buying it again!

I have very oily acne prone skin and so I have been looking for a foundation/bb cream that isn't too full coverage to be able to wear to work etc. This bb cream is very light and runny, almost watery. The first time I applied it was with a flat top foundation brush and I did not like the result at all. It looked cakey and patchy as well. The next few times I applied the bb cream was with a beauty blender and it blended in beautifully and so easily. This bb cream has a very strong smell that I personally do not like but goes away within a few minutes. It is a light-medium coverage, when I use this bb cream I still have to use concealer to hide blemishes but I am satisfied with the coverage compared to other bb creams. The longevity of this bb cream is not as great as I had hoped. I wear this bb cream to work with a powder on top and on each break which is approximately every 2 hours I have to touch up because my makeup is slipping off my skin. This bb cream is definitely a good price for the quality and is even cheaper than some bb creams that are not as good. In my opinion, the product runs out of the tube way too fast which results in too much product being used, the tub would need to have a smaller hole that the product comes out of. Even though my skin wasn't as oily as it usually is throughout the day after wearing makeup, by skin still did get quite oily from this bb cream that was supposed to be suitable for oily skin. I would recommend it, not to someone with super oily skin like myself but someone with combination-oily skin would love this.

The BB cream has a really good consistency for applying quickly and easily. I found that applying it a second time about 30 minutes after the first layer it stay on for much longer and I did not need to retouch it at all. it stayed on well while i was at work and under a great deal of heat from a busy restaurant kitchen. I have combination skin so I have problems with dry patches but this product seemed to have minimized those problem areas of my skin.

Found it quite hard to remove the access cream from my hands which was slightly odd.
