Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I have oily/combination skin, and have trouble finding a product that helps combat the oilyness and products that dont make me any more 'shiney'. On first impressions i was pleasantly suprised with the packaging, it was easy to tell what the product was and easy to read. now to the review: The actual cream itself is very runny and if left without the lid on, it leaks everywhere (i didnt really like this about it), but in saying that, it makes it alot easier to apply. (quicker and easier to blend) I wore this 6 different ways so i could get a decent understanding of the product, no primer/with primer with hands, no primer/primer with beauty blender, under foundation, and with setting powder. The best application came with Primer/no primer used with Beauty Blender! flawless finish and had heaps a great compliments. Now, the thing is I have a olivey skin tone and am definatley not a light colour, but the colouring of this (medium) is too dark for me. I had to blend it all the way down my neck so i didnt look funny. I even tried a lesser amount but was still not too happy. That aside, i LOVED the finish, matte and not oily and even ater 12 hours wear under fluro lights and air con, it stayed perfect. It wasnt until about the 10 hour mark that i noticed that i was getting oily. The coverage for me is full, but my skin could still breathe, which for me is fantastic, as a dont like feeling cakey. It also covered my blemishes which was awesome as i didnt need a concealer. The smell is not strong and it doesnt last long at all, Usually smells in makeup make me sneeze all day, but this product didnt, and i didnt find it unpleasent at all. For the price of this product i would purchase for myself most probably in summer when i am darker, or if Garnier bring out a Mid tone shade ie: light/medium, (this was a trial product for BR), So to sum it up, I really liked this product minus the colouring and the consistancy, other than that i would totally reccomend to family and friends but will tell them about my issues with it also.

I sampled the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream sensitive, The box it came in looked very busy on the front with a lot of writing, It also didn't stand out very much which I think may cause it to be hard to find on the shop shelves amongst other products. Also opening the box the tube of BB cream was just wobbling around in the box, their was no other inserts holding it in place, while less packaging is great for the environment I think if the box were to get squashed (In a shopping bag for instance) the product may get crushed and leak. Sampling the product was a very pleasurable experience, the tube is a good size and easy to hold in your hand while applying with the other, although the product smelt a bit like dentists room, the smell went once applied. The cream was thin and liquidly, but transformed into a lovely powder finish which felt lovely and light on my skin, gave my skin a really nice even look, fresh and radiant, it never felt gluggy, and stayed on all day no matter what I was doing. Even my Husband said how great my skin was looking without actually knowing I had the BB cream on. In my experience this BB cream is enough to wear without adding foundation or primers etc, I just wore it as is, with a bit of eye shadow and lipstick. After using it a week, my skin has shown no signs of blemishes, dry patches or irritation, I and most inpressed with product and now realize what I have been missing out on by using a cheaper product which did not preform as well. I thing this product is great value for money and have already looked at buying more for when I run out, I don't want to miss a day without it!. my daughter has started using mine, so it won't be that far away I don't think!.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but I have to be honest, the Garnier BB Cream I tried just did not do it for me at all. The mixture is extremely runny. The first time I applied it it looked caked on and horrible. The next time I used it very sparingly and that looked better but I still didn't enjoy the finish. I found it quite drying also. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this product.

I really enjoyed this bb cream. I would definitely buy again. Good coverage and not sticky or too shiny. I have had bb creams before and wasn't too fussed but I will continue to use this and potentially buy it again. I got medium and it was the perfect colour for my beige /yellow skin, LOVE IT! You also don't have to use too much so I think it will last a long time! The packaging looks like other garnier products, and I found there to be no distinctive smell. Was silky on my fingers and didn't leave a lot of mess to wash off afterwards

Firstly I'd like to say that I usually have normal skin but since having my son a month ago I have had oily skin, which is why I opted to test this particular BB cream. I found this BB Cream really nice, easy application(I just rubbed into my face using my hands)it is also a good consistency. Good coverage and even tone Natural look Light feel with a matte look finish (unlike the anti-ageing one which I found really thick) For me, application did not last all day and had to touch up by the afternoon. I like how this product has a twist top lid because if you have it in your handbag the lid won't just pop open like some other types.

I would definitely recommend this to friends as this didn't make my pores feel blocked and I found that it really made my skin less oily then it normally is (somehow!) and I think its really good quality!! :)

For a product that has obviously targets people with oily skin I don't think this product quite delivered. It was quite runny which can make it difficult to apply. It has a solvent-y smell which I guess has something to do with it being oil free or for people prone to oily skin. The coverage wasn't that great, although I wasn't expecting much with it being a BB cream. All these things don't really matter... however, after applying this BB cream my face was so shiny! It's not something I would expect from an oil-free product. I would recommend Garnier BB creams to people in general, but I wouldn't recommend this oil-free product to a person with oily skin.

So, generally I have really oily skin. Foundation almost always makes its way off my face within an hour or two of applying it, and afterwards I am left with a greasy mess of a face. That was before I used this BB cream. This BB cream was lovely and creamy - perhaps a little bit runny as I have to hold the tube upside down whilst applying it, or else it drips out of the tube. Its so simple to apply! It takes me two minutes to put it on in the morning, no brush or sponge needed, just my fingers, which works great for me! There was no noticeable scent to this BB cream, which I really enjoyed, there is nothing more off putting than having a scented foundation. I found this product had an extremely full coverage, it was not sheer at all, and it had a nice matte finish, no more shiny face for me! The other thing that I absolutely love is how long this product lasts. I have used maybe 1/8th of the tube, after applying it every day for a week, and it also lasts all day after one application. Using this BB cream has opened my eyes up to the world of BB creams. I had full coverage, but it was nice and light to apply and it didn't make my face any oiler. I am one happy camper.

Consistency - 4/5, it is a great consistency but I think it needs to be a little thicker Application - 5/5, super easy to apply! Coverage - 5/5, I didn't need to use a foundation at all! This did the job for me! Results - 5/5, really really happy with the results, this product did everything it promised... and more!

I happen to have a port wine stain birthmark on my face and usually use a concealer and a foundation. I have heard wonderful things about these BB creams so was eager to give it a try. First off I noticed it is quite thin, and the coverage isn't very good- but- I believe that's how it's meant to be, a light weight make up. Also in regards to my birthmark it certainly couldn't cover it. Even with concealer underneath (or on top) it just didn't have the same good coverage effect as combining my concealer with a foundation. I very seldom get pimples but on day 3 of using this product I developed pimples - on my nose?! Even though it is oil free it must have created a build up of something on my skin that caused me to have a break out. Because of my personal circumstances (namely my birthmark) this BB cream isn't for me!

I really liked the nice natural dewy look this product delivered, although if your skin is really oily it might not be what you are looking for as my skin is combination and by the end of the day I have been feeling oilier than normal (which is odd as its an oil free product).

The application can get a little messy as its a very runny formula.

My skin is clearer since I switched from my other products which I put down to this product not clogging my pores.

To be honest - I have had bad luck with Garnier skin care products in the past so I had fairly low expectations for this product. Fortunately, these were squashed and I was in for a pleasant surprise when I trialed this BB Cream!

Starting with the packaging and price - personally I like the packaging. You get HEAPS of product?! You don't need to use much at all and I feel like this is going to last me for forever! I think also because it's about the same size as normal foundations - it's actually pretty awesome because as a BB Cream you use much less than you would with a foundation so it's pretty good value for money. That being said I'm not sure how much this product costs (I can't find the price above) but i'm assuming it is around the $10-$15 mark. In which case - GREAT deal!

My skin type is very oily - plus I'm a primary school teacher and so I'm constantly touching my face, being sneezed on, sweating, stressing, painting etc so my makeup tends to rub off fairly quickly. This product was very helpful in settling my oil - I had no breakouts and my skin wasn't as oily with this product - however it didn't help my makeup last, nor did it last on my face for the whole school day.

The consistency was gorgeous! I would compare it a little bit to a moisturizing primer like MAC Strobe Cream, and a little bit like a liquid foundation. It was super moisturizing and easy to apply. I applied mine with a beauty blender and it blended in really nicely and almost sunk into the skin. I think it would also apply nicely with a kabuki brush or even your fingers. It's very much like a moisturizer.

The coverage, however, wasn't quite what I prefer. I am more of a medium to full coverage gal and this was very light coverage. It did leave an amazing dewy sort of glow over the face (I wouldn't say it's mattifying at all?) and covered some discoloration but not really enough for me. It isn't very buildable either as it just sort of sinks into the skin. However this makes it perfect for someone with great skin, or for someone in their teens who just wants a bit of coverage and a nice glowy finish.

After trialing the product for a few days I haven't noticed any changes to my skin but I will keep using for a few weeks and see what happens. I would say that it absolutely does everything it claims to do, although I didn't think it was very mattifying - gave more of a dewy finish.

Overall, I would 100% recommend this product to someone starting out with makeup, teenagers who just want a bit of coverage and glow at school, or someone with gorgeous skin with minimal imperfections as it doesn't have a lot of coverage and doesn't last for that long.

I will definitely be using this product again, however I think I will only use it as a base for my foundation rather than using it alone. I'll primarily use it to produce a nice glowy finish and will observe whether it makes any difference to my skin regarding pores and oil.
