Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

This is my first time using a BB Cream, I guess I have never used them in the past as I had assumed they were just the same as a tinted moisturiser. On trying the Garnier Miracle BB Cream I was most impressed.

The packaging for a start is very practical, it comes in a slim tube which you can easily store in your makeup bag, handbag and great for travelling. The product is able to be squeezed quickly from the tube but do be careful as the cream is quite running and a little goes along way.

I am using the Garnier Miracle BB Cream - Oily& Combination Skin in Light. As I mentioned earlier the cream is rather runny so a small blob on the back of the hand is heaps for me. I applied the cream over my cleansed and moisturised face. I found the cream very easy to spread over my face and I was left with a light weight, matte coverage. It also easily evens out my skin tone and any redness I have. I also like the cream as it does not really have a fragrance that overpowers me.

I have worn the BB cream daily on several different occasions. The cream wears well, did not smudge onto clothing and only on a day when I had been exercising did I have a bit of shine in the t-zone area.

Overall I was suitable impressed with the BB cream. It probably wasnt as hydrating as I would have liked but that maybe due to the cool winter air and was easily fixed by applying my moisturiser first. I was happy with the coverage and its lightweight feel. My skin did also look even and healthy. An added bonus of the SPF15. I am using the cream in light which is suited to my pale skin in winter but for summer I feel the medium shade might be better. I will continue to use the BB cream and have already recommended it family and friends

I have combination skin so this BB cream really appealed to me as I find a lot are too moisturising for my nose and forehead areas. It was quite a liquidy formula, much thinner than many BB creams. I tried applying this with my fingers and with a brush, but definitely prefer the finish from a finger application. It has a pleasant smell, and did set quite nicely on my face. However I would not call it a matte finish. It was defnitely still dewy looking in some places. The proudct was buildable, one layer was great for an easy day to day look, but two layers was great for if I wanted more coverage. The product did last well, but I felt it oxidised a bit throughout the day so by night time it did look a little orange. The packaging was great, it was a sleek tube and meant you could squeeze out any amount whether it be big or small.I did find the BB cream clung a little to a dry area on my forehead one morning, if I had exfoliated my skin and moisturised properly before bed I think it would have been fine. Overall I really like this product. I am continuing to use it on a day to day basis, its great for uni when I want light make up, but also great with a couple of layers for work. I would recommend this BB cream to anyone, especially those with oily skin. I felt my skin did stay more matte than it would with some other BB creams, and it had great wear time. :)

My skin changes, sometimes its dry, sometimes absolutely normal due to health conditions. I also have a lot of freckles from over exposure to the sun.

Being a BB Cream virgin, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but thought I'd give it a try. I am quite tanned, more than fair, so opted for the medium tone, and found that it was a tad bit dark for me, and made me look a bit purplish, but it did minimise freckles a lot.

It was very easy to apply, just like a moisturiser, and wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. A little went a long way, and I'd imagine the product would last a fair while.

All in all, it does correct blemishes, covers well, and now I'm convinced to buy the light toned BB cream. I didn't notice much scent, which I don't mind, and found it great to use under a little blush. I'm sure it makes for perfect selfies that you don't need to do touch ups on as well.

I definitely will recommend to others, and am proud to say, one, BR has converted me...and two, Garnier has produced yet another great product!

My skin has a mind of its own, and changes from oily to normal so I decided to go for the oil free BB Cream. I have been quite pleasantly surprised. The bottle is nice and slim bottle that fits into my already packed make up bag. Compared to previous BB Cream I have used it has really good coverage. The colour matched me perfectly and I didn't feel like my skin was all blocked up. It lasted all day and came off really easy with my normal wipes. I think this product is really worth the money.

I'm a big fan of this BB cream for several reasons. First, the coverage, while light, still hides imperfections and gives you a flawless finish, making it perfect for daytime/work wear. I find applying it with a foundation brush also gives me better, more buildable coverage.

The staying power is good, especially if you set it with a powder (as I do). It lasts well throughout the day, and I just touch up with an extra layer of BB cream or powder if I'm wanting it to feel a bit more 'fresh' for post-work stuff. My favourite thing is that I can touch it up without it looking cakey too!

I have combination skin, but it tends to run drier in certain patches during winter. I find the formula good for my skin type, but make sure you moisturise (and perhaps prime first), as it can stick a wee bit to dry areas.

The colour (I used light) is perfect for fair skin. While the shade is slightly more suited to my summer/autumn tone, I can still convincingly use it in winter. This is a big pro for me, as I love products I can pull out at any time of the year.

I'd definitely recommend this product to others, especially those looking for affordable, lighter coverage.

Firstly how exciting to be part of such a large trial!

My skin type is combination (oily t-zone) and I occasionally suffer from some hormonal break outs (you would think that would stop being close to 30). I tested the colour light although I would say it is more light/medium.

The BB cream I tested came in a sleek 40ml tube that looked fairly expensive. It is a squeeze tube with a small nozzle at the end. I found the cream comes out very quickly, so you need to be careful and squeeze gently as the consistence of it is fairly runny.

Having said that, as it is a fairly thin liquid, a little goes a long way and I can see this product lasting a really long time.

I have been applying the cream with my fingers and I find it glides on beautifully and you really have time to spread the product across your face and neck. I also found that the coverage is surprisingly full and covers any imperfections or blemishes well. I have never used a BB cream before and I thought it would be much more sheer on the skin. I don't mind the coverage as I am in a client facing job so it is important I look presentable.

The fragrance of this product is quite perfumed but again I don't mind this, you might have to watch out on sensitive skin however.

When I first apply the cream I find that it goes on matte but throughout the day it has a much more dewy look to it. The cream is long lasting but if you are like me and have an oily t-zone, you will still need to powder half way through the day.

In all honesty I have not seen any major results and It doesn't seem to reduce my pores. However I do think it is a really nice inexpensive every day product for girls that don't like foundation. I also like it as it is lighter on my skin for this time of year.

So as I can have a quite oily t-zone I thought this product would be a great one to try, so when this trial came up I was thrilled! This product has quite a watery consistency which makes applying a bit difficult, so I opted for my beauty blender and applied the product to the sponge then all over my face, the coverage is all right, its buildable though, it leaves you with glowy skin, which I thought was absolutely beautiful,I also used my usual concealer and powder with it for more coverage, this made the look more matte. I found the foundation lasting me all day even if I got oily the product helped contain it. The BB cream I chose was light, the lightest shade they offer and I still found it a bit orangey for my skin tone, but this is an easy fix with powder. The packaging is very simple, like mainly any other Garnier product, but I like their packaging personally so it wasn't an issue for me at all. It smells like a moisturiser(Garnier one). I have only used the product for a week so I cant see any major differences in my skin yet but am looking forward to seeing the change, I love the way it makes my skin look though and contains any oily patches that might occur during the day, I was thoroughly impressed with the results so far and am looking forward to more. I think this product would be great for anyone that struggles with oily skin throughout the day and are looking for a way to control it, I also think it would be perfect for people who enjoy the "no makeup" makeup look as the coverage is quite minimal. Overall I may purchase this product again if I see a major improvement in my skin over the 4 weeks, I am very excited to see how it goes!

I love this BB cream, I have tried many different brands and I think I have finally found one I can stick with. I usually have slightly oily, sensitive skin and found this really good for my skin type. My usual oiliness was not even evident and it gave me a beautiful matte finish which lasted for a long time. Even though it reduced shininess I still think it gave a really natural looking glow - which was not oil at all!

I love how Garnier brought out two different shades as usually I struggle to find BB creams that are light enough for me and found this one really matched my skintone.

I thought the formula was really lightweight and felt like I was wearing nothing on my face which is something I find really important in BB creams as often I get a bit sick of wearing heavier foundations. I also found it great that it had an SPF because I tend to get freckles when out in the sun.

Lately I have had a bit of acne and found the BB really great because it wasn't too heavy and didn't sit on top of the pimples like usual foundations would.

Overall, would definitely recommend and even buy again myself.

My skin is combination, what I found, with the normal Garnier BB Cream was that it would cause my skin to breakout after I had used it. The oil-free cream was excellent, as I had no breakouts afterwards, and it didn't go as shiny throughout the day, like the normal BB cream did. The consistency of the cream is very liquidy compared to the normal BB cream, but it has a matt finish when applied which I really liked and let my skin breathe during the day. I found it easier to apply with a sponge, just so it covered better. Coverage of this product is great, and imperfections were definitely lessened. Also gave my skin a healthy glow, and goes well with a touch of bronzer. I usually use the BB cream rather than using a foundation, just because it doesn't feel as heavy. The fragrance of the product is pleasant. Not too chemically, and it does stick around. The lasting power of the BB cream is quite good. Not so much when your out dancing and sweating a lot. But it seems to do the job for everyday make up. Price- well currently $10 at Countdown, so I definitely think it is awesome value for money, for an everyday product. The packaging.... well it comes in a cute little tube, and fits well into my makeup bag, which is handy. Although make sure you have the lid done up properly otherwise you will have makeup go everywhere..... The results of this product.... The cream does everything it says it does, I would like to see maybe a shade between medium and light, just cause I have a slightly different skin colouring. But it has awesome coverage, and is good for sensitive skin. I would recommend this product to people who like myself are looking for a quick product to apply in the morning before work/uni, and don't really have many make up applying skills.

I was so excited to try this product as I had heard a lot of good things about it. The BB cream lived up to the good things I had heard such as, smoothing skin, correcting colour, light weight, decent coverage for a BB cream.My only problem was that even tho I got the shade light, it was still too dark for me, quote an orange tone. I still used it by applying a lighter powder on top, and I wore it alone on one of my "home" days (would usually wear no make up) to get a feel for the way it wears and I found it stayed great for about 3/4s of the day, the rest of the day wasn't bad, just started rubbing off.
