Garnier Vitamin C Anti Fatigue Ampoule Face Sheet Mask

This mask is an absolute powerhouse!!! I was so excited to give it a go and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The packaging is sleek and the mask is folded in a way that made it super easy to unfold and use. The mask itself is saturated with the serum. The scent is super pleasant as it’s quite fresh. The sizing was so perfect for me and once it was on, there was no slipping or peeling at the sides. I’m in my early 30s and recently my skin type has become quite dry. I left this mask on for 5 minutes as specified. There was a lot of residue left over on my skin once the mask was taken off. I tried to rub this into my skin but it felt a bit uncomfortable as it wasn’t getting all soaked in so I ended up washing my face with my usual cleanser afterwards. In the short time I had this mask on, it made my skin look super radiant and I had a “glow from within” look going on for the rest of the day :) It made my dry skin look refreshed again so everything else I put on over top went on with so much ease. This mask is definitely something I’d purchase again as the entire experience of using it was really quick and easy yet the results are amazing!

love these sheet masks but man they have some liquid still in them!!

sheet mask sits almost perfectly on the face, the nose flap is a bit long so i have to fold it over lest i want it flapping in and out of my nostril as i breath.

smells fruity and nice, and the serum massages in nicely after, if not leaving a bit much so it goes eevvverrrywhere - neck, chest, heck even elbows and arms haha.

the lasting effects i dont really notice but as a quick pick me up, sure. face is soft and happy the next day so i am soft and happy the next day! haha would definitely repurchase!

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR. I love a good mask and hadn't tried a vitamin c mask before so was eager to try it out.

I like how the packaging has been resized and it has lots of useful information. I opened it up and easily unfolded the mask, it was actually quite a good fit for my face for once. It smells really good....quite fruity and refreshing and there is a lot of serum!

It says to leave on for as little as 5 minutes but I left it on for nearly 15. Once removed I massaged in the remaining serum, unfortunately it did not dry down completely and left my skin feeling tacky....yuck I hate that.

Afterwards my dry skin definitely felt refreshed and hydrated and was looking bright and healthy.  I could definitely see a difference which was great. I would purchase this again even though it made my face feel sticky....I can deal with that because of how nice my skin looked.

I bought this after having a great experience with one of the other Garnier masks and I was not disappointed! I have previously had negative experiences with other Vitamin C products so I was a little weary about trying this one, but it seems to be an issue with a different brand as I didn't react negatively to this one at all.

The packaging is easy to open and the mask is simple to unfold and apply to your face. It sticks well and doesn't slip down your face so it's easy to sit upright while in the bath/reading/watching TV etc. The smell is sweet, pleasant and vaguely fruity but I didn't get the strong pineapple scent I was expecting.

After taking the mask off the serum is a little sticky on your face so it pays to just leave it to dry, so make sure you allow time for this.

Looking in the mirror I was impressed with the results, my face was bright and glowing and seemed very well moisturised. And you could not tell I'd had a terrible nights sleep the night before anymore! Given that its sold as an anti-fatigue mask I'd call that a success. I will definitely be using this again.

I love the way that this mask made my face feel. Made me feel bright and happy throughout the day. Very easy on sensitive skin. The mask smells of beautiful pineapple.

First off, we’ve been seeing more and more ampoules from brands over the last few months, but what are they?? Here’s what I found on the net: ‘An ampoule is a supercharged serum with higher concentrations of active ingredients that you're meant to use for a finite amount of time as a booster or when you're having a skin crisis of some sort. (It is recommended) using them before your essence or serum.’ Okay.. so how often should I use them if I’m having a bad skin week? ‘ However, unlike a daily toner or moisturizer, ampoules aren't mean't to be incorporated into your skincare routine everyday. "Due to their high concentration and active ingredients, ampoules should not be used consistently," Josie Holmes, esthetician at SKINNEY Medspa in New York City, says. (From another article) Instead, plan to use an ampoule two to three times a week after cleansing and toning, when the skin is best adjusted to absorb the active ingredients, says Dr. Chang. "I recommend applying serums and moisturizers after using the ampoules so that the higher concentrations of active ingredients are absorbed first."’

Right! Now onto the review. I’ve never tried an ampoule. I have a daily cleanser, serum, moisturiser, and eye cream routine. It certainly takes a lot to get my dry, dull, and tired skin glowing. And even then, sometimes I still look like I’ve crawled out of a dusty hole. #sadlife

Price: at $5.99 (from Brand Outlet) I certainly couldn’t afford to incorporate this into my daily routine so it’s good that it’s not meant to be. Packaging: very clear information and directions, easy to handle and open. The mask: easy to handle/unfold, and incredibly simple to apply. Fits snugly and covers the face well. Before use: I had not applied any products yet, but I did cleanse my face in preparation to apply the mask. My skin was dry and blotchy, lots of redness. Application and use: unlike other masks, this one was not a cold shock to the skin. I was able to spread it evenly and it covered most areas. For the areas, such as under eyes and corners of the nose, that it didn’t reach, I simply massaged excess liquid into. During the short 5 minutes that these masks are supposed to be worn, I noticed a tingly sensation, but it was nice. It reminded me of the feeling you get when you’re all bundled up in the snow and there’s a chilly breeze tickling your cheeks. After use: like I said, 5 minutes is no time at all. Apply your mask, boil the kettle, and make yourself a cuppa while it does it’s magic. I noticed a definite improvement! After removing the mask and massaging the excess into my skin, I let it dry and had a good look. My skin was brighter, almost glowing. It FELT better, not so dry and tired. It really did wake my face up! It didn’t do much for the redness, unfortunately, but I’m certainly not so blotchy.

Overall, I definitely will be incorporating these mask sheets into a weekly skin care routine. They’re perfect for a wake-my-skin-up before going out.

I really enjoyed using this mask - it was a great pick me up after a long week day. The packaging is small and convenient, it smells lovely (quite summery, which I enjoyed going into winter currently!) and did a great job of what it claims. After using it, I massaged the excess serum into my skin, and it looked great and glowy. It also didn't make my skin greasy or cause any breakouts, which is always a positive! I would definitely recommend this if your skin is starting to look tired or dull - I will definitely repurchase.

I love face masks! They are a important part of my weekly self care routine and I was looking forward to giving this one a go.

I love that it’s a smaller package size than most sheet masks on the market. Perfect for tucking into a make up bag when traveling and that type of thing. Once opened you get this scent of expensive skincare with a touch of summer thrown it. Not a overpowering scent but one I really enjoyed.

I was curious to see how the pineapple extract would act on my skin. I won’t lie, I was a little worried my skin would react to it as it’s very dry at the moment. No need to worry, mask was soothing and there was no tingling or warmth happening.

My skin was left refreshed and glowing. I don’t think I look any less tired but my skin looked nicer than before the mask and that’s what is important.

Would happily use this mask again and will be picking some up when I see them out and about.

I love doing masks as a way to relax and refresh my skin after a busy day/week and this was one of the best i have tried. It is very easy to get out and put it on your face, there is no mess and the size and fit is good. It actually feels very comfortavle and not annoying while it is on your face.

I could definitely see an improvement in my skin after the five minutes stated as it seemed a lot more hydrated and refreshed and felt really soft and supple to touch. I could definitely notice effects for a few days after as well as my skin is definitely less fatigued and healthier looking.

I will definitely be repurchasing and looking for others in the range to try out.

I love sheet masks. It's gotten to the point it's impossible for me to pass one in the supermarket without popping it in my basket, so I was excited to try this new one from Garnier, especially as I've had great results from other Garnier masks in the past.

First of all, I love that the packaging is smaller, making it better for the environment.

The mask itself was saturated in serum, and I did find it a touch fiddly to peel apart, but once I did I found the mask was PERFECT in size. It fit around my mouth and eyes like a second skin and didn't need any rearrangement.

Over the five minutes that I had it on I was able to go about my business (doing dishes, oh joy) without it slipping.

Once I peeled off the mask I noticed that my skin looked plumper, brighter, and that there was a lot of serum still on my skin. The only thing that didn't tick the box for me was that no amount of massaging the product in after I removed the mask stopped it being sticky on my skin. I ended up using a Garnier ecopad, moistened with water, to remove the stickiness. HOWEVER, despite doing this my skin still looked GORGEOUS. Glowing, radiant, and super smooth to the touch.

The next morning my skin still looked lovely and I even had a friend comment that morning when she saw me that my skin looked great. No one ever comments on my skin. That was proof enough that this mask is absolutely worth popping in my supermarket basket over others the next time I'm at the shops.
