Gilette Satin Care Shave Gel

I love how you squirt out a bit of gel on the palm of your hand and it magically puffs into a beautiful creamy foam and then when you smooth it over your skin to be shaved it leaves an incredibly smooth and creamy layer. It makes shaving just a little more fun. The smell is so lovely too. My skin is so much nicer after using this compared to using some sort of liquid soap which I usually use because I have run out of shaving foam!

Maybe a little bit on the dear side for some, I would say it’s much better than using normal soap to shave. It’s quite a large bottle and lasts ages as you only need to squirt out a tiny bit in order to cover a large area. The product smells really good so you get a bit of aromatherapy while you shave. Speaking of the shave, it’s so smooth and velvety, I found it greatly reduced the risk of my cutting myself. Afterwards your skin is so soft and shiny you just want to show off.

Good to use for a closer shave. Last ages and the smell is great. Moisture rich and easy to use. Good on sensitive skin also.

This is my 'Go To' shaving gel. Although it is labelled a gel, it foams up in your hands or on your legs, which means that a little product goes a long way. It provides a smooth, protective layer for a close shave. This product provides a small amount of moisture but I still reach for a moisteriser or body butter afterwards. The product has an artificial berry small. It is a good product that does the job, however there are very few shaving gels or foams available for women in New Zealand so I haven't had a chance to compare it to many others.

It may seem like a fairly basic product but this has to be one of the best shaving gels I've ever used. It lathered super easily and smelt really nice, it was easy to apply and shave with and left me with smooth legs and underarms. I'm generally careful with shaving foams as I have fairly sensitive skin but this left me rash free and smooth.

Gilette Satin Care Shave Gel is a great option to keep in the bathroom cupboard, it is called a gel but I find it foams up making it easy to apply and making the product last some time. The Satin Care does provide a slight moisture but I will still apply something additional once out of the shower.

I find most shaving gels in New Zealand all hover around the same price of $10 so if you’re going to pick one I would choose this.

It smells yummy and does the job.

I use this religiously as my shave gel. I find it's very forgiving on dry sensitive skin like I have and it makes it so easy to glide the shaver over legs and minimize cuts which I am good at doing when I am in a rush! My legs are left feeling smooth and moisturized. I love the smell of it and how it foams up easily with effortless rubbing over the leg. I don't use much which makes it last longer which is good for value of money. I used to be a shower shaver but since discovering Gilette Satin Care Gel I just do it before hand which saves water usage and that's super important to me living on tank water supply.

This shave foam comes in a can with a push down top, easy to use with wet hands and easy to get this soft gel/foam out. The can is pretty and easily sits on the shelf in my shower. This is a coloured gel, the wild berry is a light purple gel that foams up white, and it has a lovely floral sweet scent and a little goes such a long way, I usually shave in the shower so I squirt a wee bit on my hands and rub my hands together till I get a rich lather and it does puff up nice and soft and fluffy and I smear it all over my bits to shave, and going around tight corners and boney bits the razor just glides over the surface and off with the stubble, I get to see easily where the razor has been it just leaves a lovely we track of smooth skin hair free skin. I don't get a clogged razor using this and I do get way less nicks and a smoother closer shave. My skin doesn't dry out as much, and I don't get as much skin irritation. I do like using this and I feel I do get a closer shave and softer skin, this does last so it's always in my bathroom. Value for money as it does last.
