Perhaps my lashes are too stubborn but this really didn't work well for me at all. I tried multiple different durations and only managed to achieve a slight crimp (exactly what it says it doesn't do) in my lashes. But by no means did it curl them. I held hope for it, as heated eyelash curlers were something I thought might actually work. Alas it did not. The product itself seems kinda flimsy like it wouldn't last the distance, the basic idea is there but overall just didn't live up to the promise and I get better results from a good old fashioned eyelash curler. I wanted to love it, I really did. I do have incredibly straight eyelashes so perhaps they are just too stubborn for this product and better suit someone who already has a bit of curl to their lashes.

I went in with high expectations and was really excited to try this curler. Unfortunately it doesn't drastically curl your lashes as states even when clamped longer than recommended time. It once got stuck clamped and needed to be manually pulled down to avoid damage to my lash. If anything it helped separate the lashes for easier application of mascara but unfortunately a bit disappointed and would not recommend sadly. Great idea and would love to see maybe a product that you apply first that can help heat set the lash. Just a thought.
Tips: No tips but will be reading other's reviews after this to see if anyone has tips.
I am not sure if it was broken when I purchased but it didn't heat up and didn't curl my lashes. I was very disappointed with this product.
Used brand new batteries in brand new machine, absolutely did not work as it said it would, did not heat properly. After trying to curl eyelashes with it for 5 minutes, could not tell which eyes eyelashes I’d tried to curl. Not sure how it got a rating of 3.8, fake reviews?
Tips: Don’t buy
This was a little bit scary to use at first because I thought I might burn my eye or pinch my eyelid but neither happened!
It took a little bit of practice to get the hang of it but once I got the angle of the curler right, hold it a bit away from your face not straight down, I was away.
It doesn’t give you a curl in 15 seconds, I found about 60 seconds gave me any noticeable curl but unfortunately it just did not hold.
I tried to curl if for longer to see if that would make the curl last any longer but sadly no.
I really wanted this to be a new addition to my beauty routine but it’s not worth the time spent or the batteries for a curl that didn’t even last me 10 minutes.
Tips: Clamp your lashes closer to the top not the bottom to see a better curl…..but blink and you’ll miss it!
I have thin , short eyelashes that point down. I tried to use this heated eyelash curler and make it work for me,by pressing the silicone pad (once clear and heated) on to my lashes then holding for 30 seconds and also trying a different way by pressing for 15 seconds then moving the silicone pad closer to my eyelid then pressing again, sadly it didn’t make any difference. I have used heated lash curlers in the past and they have worked for me.
I think this curler is not curved enough to fit to the curvature of my face therefore cannot reach all my lashes as close to my eyelid as possible.
It is easy to use, I like to gold design, but will not recommend this to someone with thin/ short lashes. I think this would work for someone with long lashes.
I have lashes that are extremely straight and almost go downwards so I purchased this hoping it would help, did literally nothing and that's with me holding it for longer than recommended timing, also was super awkward to try use. Wouldn't recommend at all.
I was very excited to try this product after I was selected to review it by beauty review. My lashes are long but straight and the classic eyelash curlers did nothing for them, I was hoping this would be exactly what they needed! Unfortunately I was disappointed. Each time I tried, I used it just on one eye to compare the difference it made, and the effect of the curler was little or none.
The tool itself takes some getting used to. My main tip after some trial and error is to make sure you push the slider up all the way so that it brings the heated part right up to your lashes. The shape and nature of the tool makes it impossible (at least from all of my attempts) to get a curl right at the base of the lashes. This means you can't get the dramatic curl that I was hoping for, the one that makes your eyes look bigger and wider. So if you want a dramatic curl, look elsewhere. This curler is only going to achieve a very subtle, natural curl. It also crimped my lashes somewhat. I'm not sure if this is something I was doing wrong, but I used it as directed and the box says it doesn't cause crimping so that was a surprise. It didn't matter much though as the crimping straightened out when I applied mascara, as did most of the subtle curl, which was a disappointment.
If a subtle curl is what your after then this might be worth a try for you, however the next disappointment for me was that the curl didn't hold. This might vary depending on your individual lashes, but for me the subtle curl lasted a few hours max. I tried without mascara and with different mascaras, each time using it only on one eye. One thing to note is that when I used a mascara with a wet formula (bareminerals strength and length) I lost the curl as soon as I applied the mascara. With Too Faced's BTS the curl dropped a bit but then stayed like it was for a few hours. Without mascara the curl also dropped over a few hours.
The real deal breaker was that it made little to no difference. After applying mascara the difference that the curler made on my lashes was very small, basically the same as what I get from just using mascara and blinking. I asked my family to pick which eye had more curled lashes and even on the day it worked the best they only got a 50% success rate.
To summarise, this is my experience:
1. Straight after curling: A subtle, natural looking curl. It would be a nice natural look if it stayed.
2. Straight after adding mascara to it: Curl dropped considerably, even with Too Faced's BTS. Looks very similar to eye that wasn't curled, or exactly the same.
3. After a few hours, regardless of whether mascara is applied or not: Looks the same as the eye that didn't use the curler.
Since the difference was little or nothing, I probably won't use this much, or ever. I tested it thoroughly for review purposes, but for my lashes the curler is not at all worth the bother.
Tips: Push the slider all the way up so it heats your lashes properly.
Unfortunately my review on this one is that it’s underwhelming. I was so excited to try it. But here goes.
Packaging - so I shared it on my social stories and got four people comment that it looks like a vibrator. Any who! I was excited to try it out. Would have been great if it came with batteries but I went out and got some.
It doesn’t take long to heat up and I did like how the silicon colour changes to let you know it’s ready to use.
Actually using it. I found it super awkward (and I have quite long lashes) and that it didn’t really do anything much. I tried a few times. I shall pass on to my step daughter to see if she has any luck.
I've always used a regular eyelash curler, so this was my first time trying a heated eyelash curler. I was so excited!
It's metallic gold in colour and aesthetically looks very pretty. It's also lightweight. I added 2 AAA batteries and followed the instructions carefully on how to use it. I turned it on and waited for the pink silicone pads to turn white, which is an indication that the curler is ready to use. I used it like I with a regular eyelash curler by holding the front of the curler against my face. I gently clamp my lashes with the silicone pads by pushing the slider upwards and held for 15 seconds. I repeated this few times to achieve my desired curl on my lashes, but unfortunately, my lashes wouldn't curl no matter how many times I tried. I even made sure the my lashes were clean and dry before using it. I also tried holding it down for longer than 15 seconds and it still didn't work for me.
It's safe to say I was disappointed with the results. I don't recommended using this.
