I know I should always use eye cream especially at my age but I go through periods of being good and using an eye cream running out and taking my time to buy another. Probably not the best thing to do as the years pass by...... So of course I love to trial an eye cream especially from one of my favourite beauty brands L’Oreal, a brand I have trusted over the years to not react with my sensitive skin. What I instantly loved about this eye cream is that the dark area under my eye was reduced after the first application, I want to continue to use this cream for that reason only but it does much more than just that. I was noticing the skin above my eyes was starting to look more saggy especially upon waking but since using this eye cream for a few weeks the improvement is noticeable and I feel I can see major improvement to the upper eye. So there’s a two way benefit to this cream (dark under eye and less saggy above).

Tips: Major tip is if you are like me and busy and a little lazy when applying creams you will see the places you haven’t made sure they have blended in properly.
My eyes have the expected fine lines, less fine lines and full on wrinkles.
This cream comes in a wee glass pottle. It's a nice balance between thick and light.
I found it absorbs into the eye area easily, without leaving any residue. I experienced no pilling when layering on top of this.
I feel my wrinkles look less deep and my fine lines have been plumped. They look brighter and less sallow.
A wonderful product to try, highly recommend.
When I first tried the Age Perfect range at the start of the year, I really like it, but felt that it was missing something by not having an eye cream. Glad to say they now have one and I was pleased to trial it.
The cream looks just like the day cream with the rosy pigment, is feels creamy and luxurious without feeling greasy. It is easy to use around the delicate eye area, doesn't feel dry, it just glides on, and as I say, does not feel heavy or greasy.
In the time that I have used it I cannot say that I can tell a huge difference, however it has only been a couple of weeks, and I certainly do not have any dry papery skin around my eyes.
I would not use it during the day in the summer as I find that in the heat eye creams tend to make my eye make up smudge - even the un-smudgable, but love wearing it in the harsh cold winter.
I would definitely recommend this little pot of luxury, I will certainly be adding this product to my regular skincare regime.
The eye cream is in an attractive container with a gold lid of 15 mls. It is a thick pink cream with a light fragrance and a little goes a long way. I found it to be very moisturising on my eye area and it has toned up my eye area very nicely. I have had some late nights lately with renovations so have used this product and have had no dark circles on my eyes surprisingly. I love this product and I would definitely used this again.
Tips: Use sparingly and use maybe your little finger to apply for a light touch so not to pull on the eye area.
This lovely cream is very good at brightening the eyes.
After twice daily use the area is firmer and I have notice a reduction in fine lines.
There is a scent which is odd for an eye cream, but its not too strong.
I think the price is fair and would recommend to those with mature skin or very dehydrated skin.
Love this. Nice colour and good to know it colour corrects and feeds my underage. Def not 60 but its working for me!
At 47 years old, I decided to try out this product, and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. The eye cream comes in a generously sized jar, and I was impressed by its effectiveness. The color is ideal for concealing dark circles, and it has a gentle feel on the skin.
Tips: Ensure to gently massage the product thoroughly, as improper application may result in minor marks beneath the eyes.
I was surprised to be asked to review this product, as it is aimed at the 60 plus market (and I am 'only' 50). But I think providing any extra moisture to the eye area is all good, and I am happy to provide this review based on my findings.
Marketed as an eye cream for very mature and dull skin (in conjunction with the day cream I have reviewed elsewhere), this eye cream claims to help with Anti-sagging and corrects stubborn dark circles with the help of calcium B5 and peony extract.
Even with the "strength" of a 50 year old, I found the pot very hard to pull out of the packaging - super duper glue was used - so a 60 plus should make sure they have had their weetbix before hand.
The cream has a rosy pink colour to it. It is light and easy to pat around the eye contour and on the eye lids. Caution is always needed in these areas, but not toxic smelling or feeling at all - definitely doesn't make your eyes water and I guess this is because it is Ophthalmologically Tested. I was always taught to pat your eye cream in (rather than rubbing or smoothing) so I did this. I found the pink colour was unforgiving if the eye cream was not fully absorbed into the skin.
Although I don't (yet?) have issues of sagging and don't suffer from dark circles under my eyes, L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Eye Cream has moisturised this delicate area and I do believe there is a new plumpness as a result of the extra moisture.
Personally I would choose a white cream from L'Oreal over this rosy one though.
Tips: Pat don't rub in the eye area
This lovely product comes in a cute little 15ml pot, made of glass with a gold lid. Very classy and attractive.
The product inside is a thick pink cream. It reminded me of foundation initially. It has a mild and pleasant scent.
It absorbs beautifully into my delicate eye area and leaves a soft pink undertone to my eye area. That's great for me as my Graves Disease causes my eyes to be puffy and look more white compared to the rest of the face. It has something of a CC cream/concealer effect in that respect. I've been using it at least twice daily, gently smoothing with my fingertips from inner to the outer of my eyes as directed. And I've been using it above my eye also to get the same rosy effect and softening.
The product claims to immediately hydrate and freshen the eye contour and correct persistent dark circles. I say it meets this claim. And the skin under my eyes feels very soft after use. Longer term in says it will firm the eye contour and recover it's natural look and vibrance. I haven't been using it that long but I do like the effect already and feel like it helps to even out my eye colour with my complexion so it looks more natural and even.
I don't know what the cost of this product is.
I really like it and recommend it to others.
Tips: Use with the day cream for best effect.
I was very lucky to be selected to trial this product as I love L’Oreal. The product was to well packed and it took a bit of an effort to take it out of the box (as it is glued at the bottom).
The cream is in a little glass container that makes it look elegant. Even when it seems small, there is enough product to last for months. I have been using it every day for a week and it still looks like it was on the first day. A little goes a long way here.
The product is quite pink and very creamy which makes it very easy to apply. I like that it gets absorbed very quickly and it didn’t leave a greasy feeling and the pink disappeared when it got absorbed.
The cream is supposed to be for 60+ years, although I am not in that age range yet, I noticed an improvement in my eyes as they look fresher. I will continue using it.
