I have used this for about 10 days now and feel the eye area seems firmer. It is easy to apply and because of its rosy colour you can see when it has been absorbed into the skin. I haven't noticed any improvement in the dark circles under my eyes though, maybe it needs more time although the box claims that is an instant result.

I was surprised to be asked to review this product, as it is aimed at the 60 plus market (and I am 'only' 50). But I think providing any extra moisture to the eye area is all good, and I am happy to provide this review based on my findings.
Marketed as an eye cream for very mature and dull skin (in conjunction with the day cream I have reviewed elsewhere), this eye cream claims to help with Anti-sagging and corrects stubborn dark circles with the help of calcium B5 and peony extract.
Even with the "strength" of a 50 year old, I found the pot very hard to pull out of the packaging - super duper glue was used - so a 60 plus should make sure they have had their weetbix before hand.
The cream has a rosy pink colour to it. It is light and easy to pat around the eye contour and on the eye lids. Caution is always needed in these areas, but not toxic smelling or feeling at all - definitely doesn't make your eyes water and I guess this is because it is Ophthalmologically Tested. I was always taught to pat your eye cream in (rather than rubbing or smoothing) so I did this. I found the pink colour was unforgiving if the eye cream was not fully absorbed into the skin.
Although I don't (yet?) have issues of sagging and don't suffer from dark circles under my eyes, L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Eye Cream has moisturised this delicate area and I do believe there is a new plumpness as a result of the extra moisture.
Personally I would choose a white cream from L'Oreal over this rosy one though.
Tips: Pat don't rub in the eye area
Much like the Rosy Glow Day Cream, I was unsure what this would look like on the skin, as when you open the jar the colour of the cream is quite pink. However, I've been pleasantly surprised.
The cream has a lovely texture and glides on to the delicate eye area very easily and feels lovely to apply. The cream has a delicate scent and a slight shimmer. And a little goes a long way!
I have not noticed any difference to my dark circles, and have still found I need to top that area up a bit with a little bit of normal concealer, but I love how it made the eye area feel. Very smooth and soft!
As with most L'Oreal products the packaging is very nice, and the little pottle is a cute pink colour with a gold lid.
I've only been using it for about 9 days so I'm hoping the more I do, the more results I will see, but even if it doesn't help the dark circles, I'm still very happy with how its made my skin feel.
Tips: A little goes a long way
L'Oreal Rosy Radiant Eye Care was an exciting test for me as I am aware my eyes tell tales. The cute pot with its golden lid housed a deliciously fragrant cream, perfect consistency for a finger dob in the eye area, and a natural colour which did not change skin tone noticeably. i used this morning and night in tandem with its big sister Rosy De-Densifying Cream.
Yes, I do have dark circles! However, little Rosy did not fade those, rather she temporarily helped until her goodness soaked into my skin. She did seem to lift the eyelid brightness though.
I think Rosy's big sister product would equally do this job and of course it is more convenient to have one product rather than two.
Tips: This little jar will last for months of daily use, therefore it has to be economical if you prefer special eye cream care.
At 47 years old, I decided to try out this product, and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. The eye cream comes in a generously sized jar, and I was impressed by its effectiveness. The color is ideal for concealing dark circles, and it has a gentle feel on the skin.
Tips: Ensure to gently massage the product thoroughly, as improper application may result in minor marks beneath the eyes.
The Age Perfect Golden Age Eye Cream claims to correct dark circles and is ideal for very mature and dull skin. I was given the opportunity to trial this together with the Day Cream at age 50. The eye cream itself is lightly fragranced and there was no irritation to the sensitive skin around my eyes on application. The cream has a rosy, shimmery look to it. It aims at creating a healthy glow and I found it to be successful in that respect. I haven't noticed a reduction in the dark circles under my eyes, but maybe I just haven't used it long enough. It doesn't make any difference to that in the short term. I had no issues applying eye makeup over this - most probably because it absorbs instantly and beautifully. I used this in conjunction with the day cream and found that the products complement each other. I will recommend this to others and will consider repurchasing.
Tips: Use together with the Golden Age Day Cream for best results
The eye cream comes in a 15ml jar which is attractively packaged with a rosy coloured glass bottom and a gold twist top. From the first time I used it I instantly noticed the big white circles I have around my eyes disappear. The creme has a lovely consistency which is easy to apply and carefully blend. The instructions for use state to apply both under the eye and above including the eye lids, however I found that when I used on my eyelids and in the eye contour within a short time my eyes were stinging and watering so I just used below my eyes. Over time I felt a prolonged tightening of the skin and a smoother appearance to the skin under my eyes. As each day passes the under eye area appears to be getting stronger and less puffy which is great news.
Tips: Use tiny amounts it goes a long way. Be careful of using above eyes if you have sensitive eyes.
I loved using the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect eye cream. The first thing I noticed was the lovely pink color. When I applied a small amount it went on smooth and covered dark circles as a color corrector would. It smoothed my fine lines and felt really nice and light. I really loved how it color corrected under my eyes as an addition benefit to the eye cream. I have bought again.
This lovely product comes in a cute little 15ml pot, made of glass with a gold lid. Very classy and attractive.
The product inside is a thick pink cream. It reminded me of foundation initially. It has a mild and pleasant scent.
It absorbs beautifully into my delicate eye area and leaves a soft pink undertone to my eye area. That's great for me as my Graves Disease causes my eyes to be puffy and look more white compared to the rest of the face. It has something of a CC cream/concealer effect in that respect. I've been using it at least twice daily, gently smoothing with my fingertips from inner to the outer of my eyes as directed. And I've been using it above my eye also to get the same rosy effect and softening.
The product claims to immediately hydrate and freshen the eye contour and correct persistent dark circles. I say it meets this claim. And the skin under my eyes feels very soft after use. Longer term in says it will firm the eye contour and recover it's natural look and vibrance. I haven't been using it that long but I do like the effect already and feel like it helps to even out my eye colour with my complexion so it looks more natural and even.
I don't know what the cost of this product is.
I really like it and recommend it to others.
Tips: Use with the day cream for best effect.
As with the day creme, when I first opened the jar I did actually get a bit of a surprise, there's definitely a rosy pink creme in there, and it even smells like roses (even though it states it is fragrance free on the box). The glass jar is all shimmery pink and silver, so pretty. And I do appreciate the fact that the jar is glass, and not plastic, although the lid and inner is. The outer cardboard packaging is nice too in a rose gold metallic finish.
This eye creme is for very mature (60+) and dull skin.
The claim is to instantly awaken the eyes, and the eye contour should feel firmer, be anti-sagging and any dark circles corrected. While I don't expect miracles, and there weren't any, I didn't see any great difference after a week of daily use. On the plus side, it is a nice smooth consistency and goes on easily and blends well, and it does give good hydration to the area and compliments the day creme so continued use may see some improvement.
It isn't stated whether this should be used day only, or night and day, just says use daily, so assuming a heavier night eye creme would be required.
