I have been wanting to try this for a while and am so glad I finally bought it. A nice big size helps to justify the $20 price and it is also quite economical as you don't need too much product per application. A medium consistency which I like, and a fresh apple scent which I love, I use this in the shower in the morning. My skin feels cleansed and there is no tightness. My skin is sensitive and can be quite reactive at times, so I always introduce new products carefully, however it kind of feels like my skin hasn't even noticed! (Which is great.) Based on other reviews here, I'm not sure if I would use it for makeup removal, even though i cleanse twice at night, but it makes a nice change from my usual morning Dove.

I love Goodness products, they contain natural ingredients, they're made in NZ and are affordable. Unfortunately this particular product didn't quite live up to my personal preferences.
First of all I will say that the tube is a pretty good size, you get plenty of product for only $20 (look out for sales at your local supermarket though).
The product is easy to squeeze from the tube, it is very smooth and soft, and really gentle on my skin. It also smells refreshingly good.
My skin feels smooth and soft after. Unfortunately each time I use this product I have to use either makeup wipes or cotton pad and micellar water as the cleanser doesn't remove my makeup as much as I like. This has never been a problem with other cleansers. I do find that it works a bit better by removing the cleanser with a warm cloth, not rinsing.
Ok so I got this in the ball box and I personally love it! Up until this point I was yet to find a cleanser for my skin that didn't leave my face stinging afterwards! Im glad to have finally have found some goodness for my face. I use it after removing my makeup to help to remove what i missed with wipes, I will get my face a gentle massage with goodness cleanser then rinse off and place a warm rinsed face cloth over my face ahh so nice and the smell is amazing.. 10/10 x
Tips: Gentle face massage everytime when applying it to give your skin added love and allowing product to really get in!
What I like about the Goodness range is the ingredients used in their products, and the almost earthy, slightly sweet and smooth herbal fragrances. Upon first wiff this cream cleanser packs a fresh herby punch, and mellows to a crisp green apple scent as you massage it over your skin.
The consistency of this cream cleanser is on the thinner side and is like a very wet runny lotion upon application, so it doesn't really lather. It's a light and gentle cleanser, lovely for the mornings when you're wanting a minimal cleansing option, and it leaves my skin feeling rather soft and smooth.
Makeup removal wise, this cleanser is a very poor option. I tend to apply my mascara quite heavily and this cleanser had no show at getting it off. I tried cleansing twice, even 3 times with this cleanser to remove my makeup, in particular the mascara, and it's simply not capable.
I quite like this cleanser for the mornings, and as a body wash, but definitely not enough to go and get myself some more. I feel that $20 is a lot for a cleanser that's neither here nor there in my opinion, regardless of it being quite a large tube of product. I don't think that this product deserves to be critisized, however I wouldn't recommend it.
I was lucky to receive this In the ball season BBBE. The timing was perfect as I had just used the last of my previous cleanser and it is a bit expensive so was excited to try this especially since it's a NZ brand.
The green tube is simple but nice a light mint green with a silver screw top lid. I love the quirky writing and directions on the back, it's always refreshing to see brands that have a bit of fun rather than being boring and basic. The tube is on the larger size coming in at 150mls. It feels like I will be using this tube forever. I have been already using this for weeks now and it feels like I have hardly made a dent in it.
The creamy white cleanser has a mild floral kind of fragrance it's lovely. I add a small drop to my konjac sponge and get washing. I'm always scared trying new cleansers on my dry skin, so many times I'm left disappointed with them being extra drying. But this feels nice on my skin and in no way drying or gives it that 'squeaky' clean feeling, and most importantly my skin looks and feels clean and soft.
Now this is where the fun begins its a gorgeous cleanser when you don't have makeup on or if you only have a BB cream on. I don't find it great at removing heavy makeup and in particular mascara. I can't for the life of me remove mascara easily with it but hey that is why they invented eye makeup remover.
Overall it's a great cleanser for the morning or if you don't have lots of make up to remove. The tube will last ages too so it makes for great value and being a NZ brand that is using natural ingredients makes it even better.
I love the Color of the tube the cleanser comes in a pretty pastel green tube that's easy to use. I wasn't overly impressed I'm not a fan of cream cleansers but thought it was ok it did leave my skin feeling clean and a bit tighter too. I didn't find it too good at removing makeup so I would use it more as a freshen up in the morning before applying my make up for the day
This product was included in the Ball Beauty Box. I was excited to see it in there because I had just run out of cleanser and I have loved every product by Goodness that I have tried. This cream cleanser has similar packaging to the other Goodness products. The packaging is a pastel green colour and it is way bigger than I expected it to be. I feel like this product will last a very long time.
The product is a white cream colour and the consistency is on the thinner side. It has quite a strong herbal smell, which reminds me of kawakawa leaves. It feels a bit oily to me, so because of this I thought it would be good at removing makeup. But to be honest it's not.
The first time I used it was in the shower when I had a medium amount of makeup on. I applied and washed it off my face three times, even though the instructions said washing twice would be sufficient. When I wiped my face on a towel after my shower, the towel was left covered in foundation and mascara. Mascara was also smeared all over my face, so I had to use another cleanser after this one. For me this clearly wasn't an effective makeup remover.
Because of that experience, I prefer to use this cleanser when I don't have any makeup on. When I use it my skin is left feeling cleansed and smooth, but still very hydrated. It is a mild/gentle cleanser so it might not be strong enough for some people. I haven't had any breakouts because of this, which can sometimes happen when I switch skincare products.
I think this product would be great for anyone with dry skin or dry patches. If you have really oily skin, this might not work well for you. I had never tried a cream cleanser before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. It is a nice product, but since it's not great at removing makeup I probably won't repurchase it. However I will continue to use it until it has run out.
I have terrible sensitive skin! This is the only product that I have found that does not dry my skin or cause me to get a rash. The packaging is super cool! It does say on the back that if you have panda eyes you might need to use twice. Natural ingredients for the win!!
Tips: If you have not taken off your make up off the night before you might need to cleanse twice :)
Full disclosure: I'm not a huge cream cleanser fan (I'm in a serious relationship with an oil cleanser!), but I am a sucker for trying new products, so I picked up the Try the Range kit from Farmers.
I wasn't holding my breath on this one, as I have combination skin and often cream cleansers feel like they haven't done enough to control the oily bits. But you know what? I used this for a week or two and... nothing. No dry patches. No spots. Just... clean, smooth skin. I really noticed the difference when I finished because I picked up another cream cleanser and immediately started breaking out.
Further, a little goes a long way and this product is reasonably priced. As if that wasn't enough, it's produced by an NZ company. Could you ask for more from your cleanser?? Well ok, I could ask it to be an oil cleanser, but you shouldn't hold that against it!
Tips: Buy the Try it Range at Farmers to try the little size before you commit to the big one.
I love this cream cleanser! It is gentle on my skin but gets rid of all traces of makeup unlike many other cleanser's I have tried. I am a massive fan of coconut oil which is just one of the natural ingredients used to make this product. My skin is left feeling soft, clean and healthy.
