This is the only product that I needed to test for a longer time because I wasn't sure about it when I tried it the first couple of times. The smell is absolutely gorgeous & refreshing, but I have a feeling it doesn't do the best job at actually cleansing my hair, especially if I haven't washed my hair for a couple of days. It also doesn't feel like it does much good to my hair right after when I wash it, but later when it's dry my hair does look more hydrated and tamed. I can't properly make up my mind about this shampoo, I will continue to use it up too see how it performs on a long run but I probably won't repurchase it.

Tips: Double up! Shampoo your hair twice, this seems to make it feel a lot cleaner.
The first thing I noticed about this shampoo was it lathered up really well on the first application, which I find is not the case with nearly all other shampoos I have used, so that was a nice surprise. I need very little to get a good lather too, so that's a saving. This shampoo is a gel with a lovely light refreshing fragrance and I like the way it makes my hair feel (before conditioning), not all straw like and heavy which some do, that is a definite winner for me. I also love that it is created from natural products and not tested on animals, is bio-degradable and the bottle is fully recyclable.
Tips: You only need to use a tiny amount to get a good lather, first time too!
This Garnier Aloe Shampoo smells so good! I love that Garnier and other big brands are venturing into the natural space but I do have a few qualms about this. Firstly, the packaging. It doesn't look cute. While I can forgive this, I can't get away from the fact it looks like a smoothie or health drink. The fact that it says "food" also gives me a bit of anxiety about young children getting this mixed up with actual consumables. Keep this in a high place! The lid flips open and it's easy to get the product out. I love the smell of this - it's a fresh, clean smell and it does the job, cleansing my hair without stripping it dry and makes it look shiny. The plus? When used in conjunction with the conditioner, the smell lasts on my hair after it's dried whereas most other brands' fragrances don't. The shampoo lathers well as expected and makes my split ends look... almost non-existent. My main gripe with this is that, while it's mostly natural, it does contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate. While this SLES is slightly better than a SLS, I'd still personally rather choose products that don't contain it.
Tips: Use with the conditioner to get long-lasting, fresh smelling hair! So good that even my partner noticed.
I hadn't used Garnier in a hot minute as ive been trying out more natural products so when i got offered to review this i put my hand up.
The packaging is simple, easy to read and biodegradable!
Im glad it smells yummy and not like aloe vera!
This cleaned my hair nicely. i only apply on the roots and am pleased it hasn't made my dandruff worse. I leave on for a few minutes and the roots don't feel oily at all! i really like this shampoo
Tips: only apply to roots
I have been wary of using 'natural' products after a few friends have had skin reactions to them. I also find that sometimes they do not feel as nice or work as well as the usual products. However, I have really really enjoyed using this shampoo. It lathers well, cleanses my hair without stripping it dry with a faint pleasant scent. The bottle squirted the perfect amount of shampoo each time I used it. I also get the added satisfaction of knowing that part of the packaging was made with recycled plastic and it is also recyclable. I will definitely try other lines in this range in the future.
First of all, I love that this uses less plastic and is 100% recyclable (just remove the cap). For years I’ve worried about plastic waste and I’m glad the big brands are trying to do something about it. In terms of the product itself, I wasn’t blown away by the formulation but I wasn’t disappointed either. Just a good, no frills shampoo. The smell is lovely though and lasts in your hair all day. If you’re looking for an affordable but natural and environmentally conscious shampoo, give this a go.
I have been using the Aloe Shampoo on both my daughter's and my heads.
The bottle is very simple, and I like that it looks different from the conditioner. The scent is very fresh and unisex in scent. (Good for me because I don't want to smell sweet.)
The shampoo lathered up a little, but not too much, and it left our hair very clean and shiny and I noticed I didn't have to wash as quickly as I usually would.
While I'm not too worried about ingredients, I do appreciate that it's natural.
I would buy this if I saw it at the supermarket.
I was impressed that this shampoo left my hair feeling healthy and smooth, without making it feel oily, even a day later.
The shampoo didn't 'foam' as much as some others I've used, but it definitely left my hair feeling clean, although I did use two lots to ensure any hairspray/dry shampoo had been washed out thoroughly.
I like the handy bottle it comes in, and found it easy to carry in my gym bag.
Tips: Works well combined with conditioner.
This stuff was fun to look at and sniff. It’s one of those products you stand reading in the shower (I know we all do it!) BUT … it really coats your hair! I usually wash my hair every 3 days. I started using this 3 days ago and I have had to wash everyday due to it making my hair feel greasy/ almost not drying properly after shower. The benefits are the natural packaging natural ingredients etc but I wouldn’t purchase again as it leaves your hair oily and flat which is not particularly desirable. Or it might be for some ?!
Tips: Honestly…just don’t buy it unless there’s no other option.
It comes in a small bottle, is a semi thick consistency with a lovely scent. It looks like straight aloe vera.
Simply massage into your hair, leave for afew minutes and rinse thoroughly.
This product lathers really well and is easy to rinse out. It leaves my hair non oily and with a lovely shine. I actually need to wash my hair less when using this product which is great!
I would recommend this brand.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the conditioner.
