I suffer from a sensitive, itchy and irritated scalp and have tried so many products. I found this shampoo to be cooling and cleans all the dandruff off my scalp. The tea tree smell is subtle which is good as some tea tree products I find overpowering. I would have to say some of the ingredients could be better.

I have long thick hair. I struggle big time with oily roots. Even after a good shampoo my hair still feels greasy. My usual clarifying shampoo stopped working. I tried this for the first time and it seemed to do the job. My roots feel lifted and it didn't dry out the tips. It's quite affordable too.
Tips: I used an olaplex conditioner on the ends afterwards.
My son has struggled with psoriasis for a long time.....until we came across this shampoo!! He has barely had any at all since he started using it. What tells me this definitely works is that he has run out a couple of times and within a week or so it starts coming back. This shampoo has really changed his life as he like to have a really short haircut on the back and sides and couldn't before as you could see all the dry scaly skin. He now can and no more itching! Hes also uses the face cleanser in this brand which seems to be marvelous for teenage skin. Please never stop making this brand .....thursday plantation we love you!!
Tips: TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE PSORIASIS!
firstly the consistency is very runny and does not foam very well so i had to use quite a lot to create a foam cause i believe thats the only way to clean your oily hair , it has a coolling feeling when you using it ,but my hair still got oily after 2 days like usual ,and this makes my hair very dry just after washing.
I had started using this in the hope of helping give my itchy, irritated scalp a bit of extra TLC. The bottle is a basic flip top cap, nothing fancy which is fine but I found the plastic the bottle is made from a bit tricky to squeeze product out of without having to store it upside down once I’d got halfway through it. The product itself has a good consistency, it’s easy to lather with a little going a long way and upon application provides a nice soothing, tingly, cooling sensation on the scalp. The scent isn’t as strong once it’s been rinsed as I thought it would be which I see as a bonus, I didn’t particularly want to be smelling of tea tree permanently. This product was just “meh” for me. I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase it unless it was at a really good price and if I had a bottle I’d happily use it.
Tips: I find it just as easy to add a few drops of tea tree essential oil to my shampoo. It does the same thing while using a shampoo more geared toward hairs needs.
I was hesitant to purchase a bottle of this Tea Tree shampoo, while I was still searching for the perfect shampoo for oily hair, as the little symbol on the bottle said that it expires three months after opening and I knew there was no way I'd finish the bottle in three months.
Well, three months down the line and I've had to throw away half the bottle because it's expired. Tea Tree being an essential oil and the bottle being constantly opened and closed, exposing the product to air, I wasn't prepared to continue using it after expiry in case my scalp reacted to the now altering Tea Tree oil.
It says its suitable for oily hair, yet after washing my hair with this shampoo it didn't feel or look very clean. Two hours after washing my hair and it was already starting to look limp and greasy, definitely not ideal. The smell is also quite overpowering (especially since we have a ShowerDome and there's no where for the scent to escape), and it does lather well.
Sadly, I won't be repurchasing this product or recommending it. It did get me wondering why companies don't also make smaller bottles of the same product when they have such a short shelf-life. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had to throw away a half-full bottle.
Tips: Avoid purchasing if you don't like the smell of Tea Tree oil
I love that it is a natural product and some people swear by it but for me I hate the potential smell. It doesn't help me with my flaky dandruff hair and dries my hair out.
I use this product once a week (any more often and it will definitely damage your hair). I don't have overly oily hair, but it does get itchy and flaky occasionally.
I can't say whether it helps with flakes (every shampoo removes scalp flakiness for me), but any scalp itching I have does go away after using this.
The scent is also very strong, so if you don't like tea tree, steer clear. I, however, don't mind. Also, the bottle design needs to be improved, it's very firm plastic and hard to squeeze out.
This shampoo is very drying and you definitely need a hydrating, nourishing conditioner after.
Tips: 1. May not be an everyday shampoo for those with normal or dry hair.
First of all the packaging I hate, because it's a very thick shampoo and so hard to squeeze out, especially when you're all wet and slippery in the shower! This shampoo does have a very strong smell of tea tree, which I personally enjoy but if your sensitive to smell, be wary. I had such a difficult time with this shampoo, it's so thick yet you need so much of it to actually get a good amount of product spread throughout your hair to feel like its being cleaned, if I use only a normal amount of this I feel like my hair is not clean at all, only more dry. This product dries up my hair so much, however, I personally cannot blame the shampoo because I have already damaged hair, but my boyfriend also used this shampoo and his hair gets so absolutely dry and frizzy after. Overall this product caused me to have dry but really good smelling hair, I do not recomend
Tips: You will need to use a lot to feel like your hair is clean.
works well, helps minimise dandruff and lighten the weight of my hair giving me a free scalp. Makes my hair silky and smooth, would recommend to anyone struggling with dandruff, oily scalps or product build up as it can ease or get rid of those problems.
Tips: A little goes a long way
