Garnier Fructis Hair Food Macadamia Conditioner

I loved the natural ingredients in this conditioner so decided to give it a go. I’m really happy with how soft it made my hair feel and how moisturising it was. I would definitely buy again and would recommend to friends with curly/dry hair that are looking for hydration

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR. I absolutely love the Hair Food mask range so was excited when they released a shampoo and conditioner range.  Of course I have made it my mission to try them all! It comes in a 350ml bottle with a flip top lid which resembles a smoothie bottle, I like the packaging!

It is a lovely thick white consistency which I like but sometimes I have trouble getting it out of the very bottom so I resort to cutting it open. It smells amazing and sweet just like the shampoo.

I use a big dollop and massage through my hair then let it sit while I go about my shower.  It washes out easily but like a few of the others it makes my shower floor a bit slippery so be careful with that.

Once dry my hair is smooth, hydrated and looks healthy! It doesn't feel weighed down at all. I always use it with the matching shampoo and they make a great duo. I will definitely purchase again.

I love this macadamia range. The mask was always a winner, and this conditioner just tops it off. It's a great 'everyday' conditioner when the mask is too heavy, and it delivers the same hydrating punch the mask does. The conditioner smells good, and leaves my hair silky, soft and full of bounce. My hair is typically on the dry side, and is very curly, so this product really works with my hair type and leaves it feeling oh-so-lovely.

I absolutely loved trialing this duo! The creamy thick consistency is so nourishing for my dull hair! I have found that it has made my hair so nourished like I’ve left a salon! It really is hair food!

I'm a mahoosive fan of the Garnier Hair Food mask - I've been using it religiously since it came out. So I was super excited to land a spot on this trial team!

I have long, sort of frizzy hair. (Wildling hair according to my Game of Thrones loving mother). The macadamia hair food conditioner definitely tames and smoothes my hair.

The bottle is TO DIE FOR! It looks like something you'd find at the Organic market or something. I love that the lid is at the top - I hate upside down bottles or conditioner tubes, you end up losing so much of the product you use the most of.

The conditioner is milky and much more fluid than I'm used to for a conditioner. You don't need much - even my mid-back length hair only needed a $2 coin sized dollop.

My hair has been so soft and shiny since using this alongside the matching shampoo. It doesn't weigh hair down and leaves hair manageable, frizz-free and so gorgeously scented! I was huffing my locks all day after use!

Garnier have knocked it out of the park!

I trialed the Hair Food Macadamia conditioner in combination with the matching shampoo. I tested the conditioner out three times and found that it did not suit my hair type. I have wavy, combination hair with dry ends. I found that the conditioner left my hair greasier at the roots than normal and did not help my dry ends. The conditioner has an nice smell, it is sweet with a subtle hint of macadamia. You do not have to use a lot of the conditioner, a little goes a long way. The conditioner felt a little thick and greasy, when applying the product. Sadly, I do not think that these products worked on my hair type and would not recommend for someone with my type of hair.

I'm undecided on this conditioner on its own. Used after the shampoo it works really well. I find you have to use quite a bit of product and once you get it in it melts away, there is no lather to it, and at times I wasn't sure if I was using enough, I was limiting my use to the equivalent of how much shampoo I would usually use and run my fingers through my hair whilst rinsing worked well.

The scent of this conditioner is so good! Also, it’s claim to help tame dry and unruly hair is definitely true. The conditioner really hydrates and nourishes the hair. It made by hair softer and smooth. Usually my hair very easily knots up easily, but with this conditioner it stayed soft and knot-free after I’d washed my hair. I’m absolutely going to continue using this product. My hair loves it.
