Tips: a little go long way, you don't need a lot to wash and condition your hair,
I purchased Argarnia with the hope that it would help reapir my horrid dry hair. unfortunatley, it did nothing but make my hair smell nice and give me more knots! I had a problem with when ever my hair got wet it would 'matt' into massive knots and i really thought, after the great reccomendations from friends, that this shampoo and conditioner, woulid truely help. well it didnt, not even after 2 bottles of trying it out. I didnt like the smell either. I was really dissapointed that it didnt work, as it said, I really longed for shiney, healthy looking hair again.
Tips: my only tip, if this brand works for you, is leave the conditioner in for 5 minutes, kind of like a hair mask. I hope it works for others, good luck
If you dry corse hair I would recommend it but for me personally I can use cheaper shampoos/conditioners an they have done just as good of a job. Did hydrate an give shine but nothing more than something that you can get at your local department store or
I have tried both the shampoo and the conditioner. I have to say I was a little bit dissappointed in the conditioner, it did not really do anything to my hair. However, on the other hand, I find that the Shampoo is absolutely fabulous for dry hair. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and frizz free and I don't see myself using any other shampoo anytime soon. I use it in addition to a Loreal hair mask and the Argania hair oil for light hair and I have seen a massive improvement in the condition of my hair
I purchased the Argania shampoo and conditioner after being incredibly impressed by two other products from the range. I have dry, damaged, long hair and have used both supermarket and salon shampoos in the past. Price wise, this shampoo and conditioner sits somewhere in between, but unfortunately, the performance is more comparable to a $4.99 supermarket shampoo.
The packaging is standard. A thinner plastic than many supermarket bottles, with a lid that has careful control over how much is dispensed. It is a little difficult to get the remaining product out, however removing the lid and mixing in a bit of water makes this easy. The product smells clean and isn't heavily fragranced, just a slight sweetness. A standard amount of the product is needed, more than a salon shampoo but less than a supermarket. The end result is . . . pretty average. There is nothing special about it, and I certainly still needed my leave in conditioning spray. My hair was clean, but even after finishing the bottles, there was no extra hydration. It was a little less frizzy compared to using some supermarket shampoos.
I was really excited to super a New Zealand made, cruelty free product, however I am not prepared to sacrifice the performance of my shampoo and conditioner for it. I would repurchase the smaller sizes for travel, or the shampoo if it was on special, however I would prefer to go supermarket or salon rather than in between. I still love two other products from this brand, but I suppose it is harder to impress with a shampoo and conditioner.
Tips: Pick up the travel sizes before purchasing the full sizes.
