I hate doing reviews like this, but someone has to!
First of all, I got this in shade Candylicious Blue. $20 which is totally ridiculous for what you get as well, but here's my story:
They say you should use a golfball sized amount, and I ended up using about six times more than that - ie half of the bottle in one go, left it on for the recommended 20 minutes and my hair was still blonde, just my ends were blue. So I took a little more and did the same process over again, but still, only my ends were blue. So by then I already had a dislike to the product.
The packaging is great to use though, I'd love it if all hair colours could come in packaging like that!
It doesn't have any ammonia in, so the result was no smell, no stingy feeling, nothing. It's like applying mousse.
I wash my hair once, maybe twice a week and it was said to last for maximum six washes, so I'd definitely get a lot of wear out of it. The blue was a pretty colour at first, but after the third week it started being more green/turquoise than the baby blue it was supposed to be and numerous strangers stopped me in town and commented on how bad my hair looked and if it was a result of purple dye gone bad, yes really. By then I was irritated with the colour and I just wanted it out, so I started washing my hair more often, three times a week for the next three weeks, but it didn't come out.
I coloured my hair brown this weekend just to get it out.
Would I recommend? Definitely NOT! It didn't work at all on my roots which was brown, and it didn't cover all of my blonde. It didn't do what it said and I am so gutted that I had to go back to brown, I love my blonde hair!
Good as well as easy to do it again and I don't want to ask you to do it again and I don't want to ask you to do it again and then go to the Nott or tavern or if you want to come over and watch the kids
