I've been using Nice 'n' Easy for about 7 years now, in a variety of shades. I find the colour long lasting and true to the photos on the packaging, they come with clear instructions, protective gloves and the most divine conditioning treatment which I always look forward to using. It's by far my favourite drugstore haircolouring product!

Tips: Have a few cotton pads with coconut oil dabbed on handy, this way you can rub off any product that gets on your face/ears and it won't stain!
I wouldnt pick up any other brand! Easy to apply, not too strong on the scalp etc AND best of all it usually comes out looking like the colour on the box!
I use to be a honey blonde/ golden brown about 1 year ago and I found that Nice and Easy was the only box dye that could turn my naturally super black hair into any shade lighter.
The dye itself is pleasant to the scalp with only a slight tingle to the scalp but nothing worthy of complaining about. 1 box is more than sufficient for medium length hair and provides an even spread over the hair length. I love the conditioner provided with the dye. The smell is amazing and the conditioning effects on my hair is really great. My hair is always soft, shiny and manageable after colouring with this dye. I was always happy with colour I achieved after each root up and application.
I stopped using this dye when I became a red head because there were no reddish shades in Nice and Easy that appealed to me. Should I ever go back to being a honey blonde, this is definitely my dye of choice.
I'm a bit of a tight arse when it comes to hair colour and refuse to pay hundreds of $ every couple of months, when I can pay less than $10 and do it at home.
Nice and Easy is the colour I use most often, and usually shade 115/115a. It's easy to apply and doesn't smell awful. But I do have shorter hair, which means it's easier to reach the roots and underneath.
My stylist always compliments me on the colour, saying it is even and carries some nice, natural highlights. At the same time she laughs saying she'd get shot for telling me that LOL.
I don't tend to stain half the bathroom with it either - which I've been known to do! It can drip, but as long as you don't spin it around too quickly, it's good to handle.
So the results are a really good, even colour, with natural highlights that lasts for weeks. Can go a little "ginger" towards the end of it's life, so you know when to top it up!
Tips: If you get some on your skin, use a cotton wool pad with some shampoo on it to take it off
I use medium brown and dark brown in this range when I want to go a little darker than my natural colour. I like the result and find the intensive conditioner makes my hair nice and soft. The colour lasts a good length of time also unlike some permanent dyes which seem to wash out rather quickly (wouldn't call them permanent at all) this one stays looking lovely, without fading for ages. Does feel a bit itchy when using but I find that with all ammonia based dyes and they are not pleasant smelling (but everyone knows that). This is a product I have used over and over and would gladly recommend to all!
I have dyed my hair numerous times and this one has always been my favourite. It always delivers the desired colour and plus the conditioner provided smells amaze and makes your hair feel silky smooth. It feels as though the dye is not as damaging as others which is a bonus.
You can definitely trust this to do the job. I like that it is not difficult to use and the shades I have tried have always given lovely looking results that match that shown on the box. This is a really affordable hair dye and great value for money in my opinion as it has always given great results! I would certainly recommend this brand to others and continue to repurchase.
Tips: When my hair is short I can split it in two lots using an old washed out bottle from a previous session. Gotta save where you can sometimes!
i tried this once in the lightest blonde shade they had and it didn't even change anything it didn't even look like i had dyed it i was very disappointed and have never used their brand since
Nice 'n Easy is definitely easy to use. The instructions are straight forward and the outcome is always great. A very good all round product. I especially like the conditioner that they provide for use after dying your hair. Makes your hair VERY smooth and shiny. Love it!
Tips: Always remember to do a strand test to make sure you like the colour and that you're not allergic to dye.
I've tried loads of home hair dyes over the years, along with spending thousands at the hairdressers, and Nice 'n' Easy is definitely one of my favourite home dyes. My naturally ash blonde/mousy hair (with some greys now, eek!) looks a million times better after using Nice 'n' Easy in shade 102 Natural Light Ash Blonde. It's natural enough that when I do my regrowth people don't say "Oh, you've dyed your hair", they just say my hair looks nice. I like the fact that it has 'built-in tones and highlights' - that's not just marketing speak, it's the truth. It's easy to use, with clear instructions, and comes with a nice conditioner to use afterwards so your hair is super soft and smells great.
Tips: When doing your regrowth, blend the colour through to the mid-lengths but leave the ends - I find that over time the ends fade to a lighter blonde which looks like what blonde hair naturally does in the sun.
