Pantene Pro V Blends Micellar Shampoo Review

I really enjoyed this shampoo! I have super annoying hair that is really oily at the roots, but can get very dry and damaged ends, which is why I was so excited to try this shampoo out! I found that it lived up to the hype - my second day hair is much cleaner and less weighed down by oil as it has been with other shampoos, and my scalp felt much cleaner and less itchy. The shampoo itself is really lightweight, and I didn't find that my hair felt weighed down at all after drying. This is very quickly becoming a new fav shampoo, and I'll definitely be looking out for it again when I've used this one up!

In lockdown supplies were limited and so I couldn’t get my usual elvive so I tried a cute newbie on the block Monday Haircare...... oh boy what a mistake! My hair, more so my scalp has been paying the price since. So i was elated to try this Pantene shampoo.. a scalp cleanse is just what I needed and exactly what I got.

I was trying to use the Monday shampoo up but it’s actually bin worthy.. I hate waste but now that I have a trusty replacement it softens the blow.

The Pantene is in a gorgeous bottle - a shimmery blue pump bottle. And I do love a pump bottle which has always been an instant winner and time saver for me.. I love my elvive but wish it was a pump.

The shampoo itself is a clear gel shampoo and you don’t need to use a lot to get a nice lather.

It lathers so well I used half a pump for my med length hair and that was plenty to get a really tight, not sloppy lather all over my scalp and hair.

It got right down to the scalp and didn’t just fall off down the drain so nice to know it’s working.

It washes off easily and leaves your hair actually feeling cleansed in the shower mine was so smooth and actually squeaky clean.. it really did squeak!

The real test is how it is when dry.. I have no scalp build up - at all. So it’s cleansed my scalp of the waste from my old shampoo and keeping it clean. I give my scalp a wee scratch test and get no buildup from product under my nails and no itch which is amazing!

It has a perfumed scent but not sickly very much inline with their usual range I would say which most people have tried at some point in their lives.

I will definitely repurchase as I haven’t had a bad reaction to this and I’m not having the same problems I’ve had with my previous shampoo.

Ladies - gravitate towards this! Ladies - stay away from Monday Haircare yeowch!

This looks fancy! The Pantene Pro V Blends Micellar Shampoo comes in a 300ml baby blue bottle. I love the pump - this gives you complete control of.how much you are using. You are also easily able to unscrew the pump to get the last little bits out of the bottle. I have medium to long hair and found 2 squirts was just right for my hair. The first thing I noticed about the shampoo was the fragrance- I am not sure what it is but damn its good. The shampoo is clear and is of a gel consistency. To use the shampoo apply to wet hair and massage into your scalp. After a few minutes, rinse. I have used this for 3 days and have already noticed a massive difference in my hair. The scent actually stays in my hair - with all the other shampoos I have used, the scent washes away with the shampoo residue in the shower. My hair feels light and smells so fresh - it has a healthy shine. The best thing is I have found it so much easier to style my hair. I enjoyed using the Pantene Micellar Shampoo. The pump was simple to use and gave a good quantity of product. I only needed one pump and this was plenty to be able to lather my medium- long length hair. It left my hair shiny and silky which lasted 3+days. Sometimes my hair is very frizzy the day of washing and it wasn't as frizzy with using the product. I wasn't a fan of the smell of the product, it had quite an overpowering smell. But I only noticed this while washing and my hair smelt fine once dry. I would use again and definitely recommend.

I am really impressed with this shampoo! First of all, I LOVE that it has a pump top, it makes it so user friendly, and easy to grab a little more product if you need it. I also like the round shape of the bottle, which stands short and sturdy on my shower shelf. The product itself feels light and spreadable, and it smells amazing, a very fresh, non fruity scent that is not overpowering. It lathered really well in my thick, course hair and rinsed out quickly. I also love that the ingredient list is relatively short compared to most big brand shampoos I have used. My one gripe would be that it is quite pricey for a supermarket shampoo, however the quality is great!

Pantene Pro-V Micellar Cleasning Shampoo I found it did clean and take off the build up on my hair it has so many nourishing ingredients , without any of the nasty ingredients. These are what is good things about the shampoo - Zero % silicones, parabens or dyes. Nutrient-infused Pro-V formula with provitamin B5, anti-oxidants, sea salt and micelles. -

Pleasantly surprised by this product. The packaging is beautiful, with a reassuring weight and looks like a nice quality of material. I really like this style of pump for dispensing and it also has a reassuring 'click' when you use it.

The shampoo is clear and gel-like in its consistency. The scent is lightly floral and more akin to clean linen which is my favourite scent. It lathers well with small-sized bubbled which penetrate to the scalp.

I have shoulder-length hair and I used 2 pumps of the shampoo. The result feels light and clean and the scent lingers for more than a day.

The bottle is a lovely blue colour and has a push pump to use the shampoo, this is one of my favorite things about the product. The smell reminds me of a salon, very pleasant and not over powering. I have medium length hair and I used 2 pumps at a time, this was plenty to get a good lather. My hair felt clean and my hair smelt nice for the rest of the day. I didn't feel like my hair was any cleaner than using my regular shampoo, so probably would splash out the much more expensive price to purchase this product.

I really enjoyed the shampoo as I did not need to use a lot of it, it frothed up really well and had good coverage. It wasnt too runny, just the right consistency and easy to apply. The pump bottle style is great for use but I do not like the wastage when you cannot get the last little bit out of the bottle at the end. The cost is quite a lot compared to ypur average shampoo and conditioner but it is average compared to other similar micellar products. I liked the shampoo but I think the conditioner lets the product down, ending in me not recommending them as a whole.
