I have used Pantene in the past and found it to leave my hair heavy and a oily feeling to it after trying Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner, the shampoo was great but the Conditioner left my hair feeling oily and heavy not as bad as the old formula. I would buy it again but maybe use less.

I'm mean to my hair, so I try and buy really good and sometimes expensive hair care, it's fizzy and lots off we broken hairs from that persistent high ponytail. The bottle is great it only stands on the lid, so you can get every last drop out, it's easy not to muck it up with the shampo as it only stands upside down making it easy to recognise, especially if you get shampoo in your eyes and your just groping around :) packaging is lovely it's white and gold you can't go wrong with that combination and the we oil capsules on the label make it look appealing the scent is a sweet berry and citrus very nice. The conditioner its self is a soft white nearly cream like in texture soft and silky. I wash with the matching shampoo then follow with this conditioner, I squeeze the excess water out off my hair and apply a reasonable amount of conditioner at the ends and work all the way up to my scalp. I let it have a good soak in then rinse really well, it leaves my hair tangle free. My hair is feeling soft and smoother, my we flyways are still there but way less than usual , my hair does like it and is responding with softness. I have used this with the matching shampoo. Its a reasonable price.
Tips: Squeeze any excess water out of your hair before you apply conditioner:)
i normally use salon hair products so I didn't have high expectations but wow I am surprised! I like the upside down bottle so you don't have to spend ages shaking it to get some out. The consistency and smell is just right. I find I only need to use a small amount where I would normally have to use a good Palm full of other supermarket shampoos. It detangles my hair really well and leaves it really soft and shiny without leaving it too heavy like some conditioners can. My hair is quite damaged from lightening, straightening and blow drying but so far I've actually noticed quite a noticeable improvement in the condition of my hair. Will definitely be purchasing more when I run out.
Often supermarket conditioners are very dissapointing, they tend to be on the runny side, not very nourishing and sit on the hair. I was a big fan of Pantene in the late 90s/early 00's but when they reformulated the range in around 2003/2004 I stopped using the brand as it had become too siliconey for my fine hair and the build up residue was too much for me. I am glad to say that this product is not a typical supermarket conditioner and it is not too full of cones', infact I can't even see one listed on the label anymore - so they have improved the formula to be rich and effective without the slippery silicones to achieve such a texture which is brilliant.
The product itself is quite concentrated, not quite as concentrated as the old Pantene formula and I have to use a bit more than I used to, but it sinks in very quickly and actually penetrates the hair rather than sitting on top like the old formula. It very quickly detangles and any knots just slip right out. I liken this to being more like one of a supermarket range hair masque/treatment rather than a standard conditioner as it is richer and very good value for the size of the bottle.
The scent - it's amazing - as if they have taken the classic perfumey Pantene fragrance but added a modern twist with a fruity topnote. It is a very strong fragrance and you can smell it even before you open the bottle. So those sensitive to fragrances might want to keep this in mind.
Overall I think Pantene have done a great job of revamping their range and I would happily repurchase this conditioner again and again. I also like the fact they have kept the same flip top upside down packaging of the conditioner which means you can get every last drop from your bottle. The packaging also looks upmarket and quite fancy with it's pearlized white and gold chevron patterned bottle.
i really love this product, my hair hasnt felt this good for a very long time, it is shiny and not fluffy!! very happy
After using with the shampoo which stripped my hair and made it really knotty, it did an okay job.It did detangle most of the knots from shampooing although it was not moisturising enough to replace what the shampoo stripped. I have noticed that i have a lot less split ends than what I did when I first started using this but my hair was still a bit frizzy after using. I would probably use this conditioner with a different shampoo as it smells nice and is moisturizing without too heavy.
My hair craves conditioner on a daily bases and as where I don’t shampoo clean my hair daily; I only do that once a week. I do rinse with water and apply a conditioner to my hair every single day and I leave that conditioner in my hair for a good 5 minutes before I rinse it out as I find this helps this crazy super thick and dry hair to behave at its best. So I have a constant need for conditioners and have tried quite a few.
Firstly with this conditioner was the un-nerving discovery of its formula, it is very runny in comparison to others on the market and is actually a lot more fluid than the shampoo from this range. It had me standing in the shower squinting at the bottles to make sure I had used the right product, which is hard as the branding is so similar and the type of shampoo or conditioner on the top of the bottle label isn’t that large to read without glasses on, thankfully the conditioner bottle sit on its lid and the shampoo stands with its lid at the top in an instant look you’d be hard to tell them apart. Even though the formula is quite runny it still went through my damp washed hair with ease but I did need to use an awful lot of it at one time, it took 2 handfuls as my sort of sucked it in. Of course conditioners don’t or shouldn’t foam up but I always put more than is probably needed as my hair is thirsty so it sits on my hair from mid shaft to tip (never put in the roots personally) as a film of glossy translucent white.
The bottle is easy to use and the flippy lid is inset so it’s doesn’t require both hands to open, which is handy with wet hands, it also has great grip and squeeze-able plastic that means you aren’t left wrestling to get the contents out of the it. After use I found that my hair was super soft and shiny, on the days I used this without a shampoo beforehand it left my curls in beautiful spirals that sat in shape all day, with no frizz in sight. However on the days I did use shampoo it got very fluffy and crazy with frizz breakouts, but not sure if that was anything to do with the conditioner or if the moisture from both products was just too much. Unlike the shampoo I would actually buy this again if I needed a bottle urgently but I wouldn’t replace my normal conditioner as the formula and amount you need to use sort of put me off.
I was a bit apprehensive about trying Pantene again but gave it a go. I'm glad I did. Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner left my hair soft and looks so healthy now! I did leave the conditioner in my hair for a few minutes even though there is no recommended leave in time.
Tips: Team it up with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo
I was so excited to try this conditioner I love the smell and the moment I put it into my curly mane it instantly detangled it and made it feel silky smooth and I had a sparkle of hope that this may indeed become my everyday conditioner. But as my hair dried it became fluffy and felt like the oils had been taken out leaving it full of fly aways, I can't deny that it wasn't shiny but it seemed to turn my curls into a fluffed out afro.
Tips: This is a great detangler I think it would be fantastic if it was followed up with a leave in conditioner. Definitely run a comb through your hair while the conditioner is in your hair during your shower.
I used to use this a long time ago based on the really good reviews then and didn't like it and wasn't sure why it was so hyped about. I think at the time the reason it didn't work that well for me was because I found it was really only good for those with really long hair, which I didn't have so didn't find it worked.
I was lucky to be one of the members that Beauty Review sent these out to, to see if the new formula had improved. So here are the results:
I can't remember what the bottle was like then as it was yonks ago that I used it but the new formula container is really good as it is different compared to the shampoo bottle which is good to prevent mix ups in using the wrong one.
The fragrance smells really nice, and I'll admit I always liked the smell of the Pantene. I can't quite put my finger on the smell, but maybe fruity perhaps? It makes your hair smell really nice all day which is lovely because some shampoos just don't leave any scent after it has been washed out.
The actual results of using the product during the trial were interesting. I didn't have high expectations of the product before I used it but kept open minded the whole way through. The first use was really good and my hair looked and felt great. It was shiny, had a little bounce to it and felt really clean and light. Each wash after that was similar to the first with the same results. I did find that the clean feeling didn't last long and started to feel greasy after the first to second day.
I do believe it has improved but I still feel they need a little more work on the formula to really give that WOW factor that they are so desperately wanting to give their customers.
Tips: Give it a go for yourself to see what results you get, you may be surprised or you may not.
