It smells amazing and makes my hair feel so silky smooth. Better than any conditioner... Works like nothing else, especially on curly hair! It's a good value, comes in a nice sized bottle that lasts a long time.
I see they have updated the packaging again for Garnier shampoo and conditioner products. This conditioner was a new favourite for a while because mine said it was silicone-free as well as paraben-free although I'm unsure if they have re formulated it again due to the description and packaging above. Any way I've gone through a couple of bottles of the coconut water conditioner it was designed to help re balance oily roots and dry ends in conjunction with the shampoo. I think this product does do that and for a coconut scented product it smells very fresh not heavy like all other coconut products I've smelt. In fact I don't smell coconut at all just a nice refreshing scent. It feels almost like a regular silicone or diamenthicone conditioner to me and performs well. I read up alot about parabens and more about silicones / diamenthicones in conditioner & moisturizer. In short, they give a smooth silky feeling but don't actually really provide hydration though they can lock in what skin or hair moisture you already have. So, if you already have dry hair in long term it will stay dry or get worse but you wouldn't think so because they make hair feel so smooth don't they? They also can build up in the hair as they don't entirely wash out easily without using a harsh or clarifying shampoo. And parabens are a preservative but there are links to cancers and they can be built up and absorbed into the body. To conclude; I like this conditioner alot it was my new favourite untill I discovered Garnier hair food (check this out!). It is ideal for those who like natural based products and are put off silicones and parabens like me. You may feel initially you need to use a bit more as it feels a bit different to your normal conditioner but you'd be surprised once you let it soak in and spread in your hair. Often it can come on special at supermarkets. Definitely worth it I've already repurchased.
