I loved the way the shampoo lathered nicely, and once washed out it didn't feel as though my hair was stripped of everything. Can't say I'm a big fan of the smell of the shampoo (personal preference), but I love the conditioner! My hair feels so lovely after using the conditioner - light and silky soft with a beautiful scent. I love the fact that it is NZ made, it's hard to find that these days. Overall, pretty impressed :)

Tips: Make sure you squeeze the excess water out of your hair before applying conditioner, lets it work its magic more.
Love both products. Love that they are are organic and smell amazing, would buy these!. The natural ingredients are a plus side as you know you are not putting anything bad in your hair!, lathers and rinses out brilliant leaving hair smooth and silky would recommend to anyone give it a go!
Tips: Leave conditioner in for a minute or so to let it soak into your hair follicles leaving it silky smooth :-)
As soon as I used it I could feel the difference. My hair felt lighter, not so heavy from all the chemicals in other shampoos and conditioners. The aromas from both the shampoo and conditioner is amazing, the mix of rosemary and cypress with balm mint and tangerine. It was such a yummy smell. I can't wait to use it again. They say to use a small amount, but it goes a long way. I have not found a shampoo and conditioner that has made my hair feel this way. There is no more frizz. I cant wait to use it again.
First off I should say that it has taken me 6 years to find a shampoo that keeps my hair in actual curls and not turning it into a fuzzy mess. This shampoo disappointed me from the start. I first washed my hair with a small amount (as it says on the bottle) but it barely cleaned my hair and I had to cover my entire hand in shampoo for it to wash my hair. This meant that already I'd used up a third of the bottle. And for let's say $15 a bottle (half the RRP) I want to use the shampoo more than three times. When my hair dried it was clean but it had taken the definitive curl out of my hair. It was like Hermione in Philosopher's Stone. But this was to be expected from a shampoo that claims to be for all hair types. Like I said, it's incredibly difficult to find a good shampoo for curly hair. I also used the conditioner which I originally thought I wouldn't have a lot to talk about (isn't all conditioner the same?) but when my hair dried, not only was it bushy it was very dry. I found myself thinking that my hair looked better when I needed to wash it. It had its curl and at least it wasn't dry as old newspaper.
I wouldn't use this again, but mainly because its not made for curly hair, dryness could have been fixed with using some more conditioner maybe, but I need a shampoo that will be good to my hair.
Tips: Maybe good for people with straight or short hair
Before trying Linden Leaves shampoo and conditioner I was using salon quality hair care that reaallly wasn't doing what it said it would! Dry scalp, hair getting oily 1 day after wash and dry ends! So I really wanted Linden Leaves to do the trick, and overall I was pretty impressed! The thing that I disliked most would be the smell of the shampoo (More a fan of sweet than floral!) although the conditioners smell wasn't bad! The shampoo really felt like it was CLEANING my hair and scalp and the conditioner left my hair really soft! Loved that the products where 100% natural and cruelty free, and also locally made! I would definitely use again!
Tips: Leave the conditioner of hair for about 1 minute and hair will be super soft :)
I applied the Shampoo and let it sit for 3 minutes. The aroma of the rosemary was present from when I first applied. Then applied the conditioner and let it sit for 3 minutes. The consistency of the conditioner is quite thick and the smell of the tangerine is AMAZING! Because I haven't used it everyday (didn't want to wash my straightened hair) I am yet to see the exact results of what it should do. I could still smell the fragrance throughout the whole day. Used it on my kids and my daughter loved the smell also. Even friends commented on the smell of my hair. I would expect great results from it if used over a long period of time.
Tips: Use daily - as directed, for best results. Apple shampoo to scalp area only, and conditioner to the lengths/ends of hair.
The first thing I took in to account was the smell of the products, The Rosemary and Cyprus smelt so strongly of rosemary I was a little bit weary that I would come out smelling like a herb garden, But the Balm Mint and Tangerine Conditioner smells like absolute heaven I couldn't get enough of it. Being a natural product it wasn't typically foamy when cleansing but when rinsed out you could feel hair was clean, I have noticed less flaking on the scalp as well as I could probably get another day out of my hair without having to wash it (I shampoo every second day.) The conditioner soaks right into the hair shaft, and I just can't stress how good it smells! My hair has been through a lot of chemical processing but with these products my hair is much more manageable, really shiny and super soft. I am really happy with this product and would choose this over many salon brand shampoo and conditioners.
Tips: Long hair? Shampoo twice for full coverage.
Overall average. The shampoo smelt alot like my toilet cleaner (not a bad smell but almost disinfectant-like) however I loved the smell of the conditioner. The bottles are not very pliable making it a bit hard to get the product out. The shampoo does not lather very much, so I had to use quite a large amount making it not very cost effective. I don't believe in spending a huge amount of money on shampoo and conditioner as I have found that the supermarket brand I use gives me the same results as the expensive salon brands, so I wouldn't buy this product in the future.
Tips: Leave the conditioner to soak into your hair for 1-2 minutes for soft, tangle free hair.
I have oily hair and a dry scalp so was keen to try this product. I found the shampoo cleaned my hair without stripping it of nutrients. It definitely calmed the itchiness down of my flaky scalp and it also added body to my hair. As soon as I opened the bottle I was greeted with aromas of the oils. I loved the smell of the conditioner, it was a fresh minty and tangerine aroma and left my hair with a nice glossy shine. Its great that it is made from natural ingredients and free from parabens, SLS and is cruelty free.
Tips: Apply the conditioner to the ends of hair and leave in for at least 2 - 3 minutes. Comb long hair with fingers or wide tooth comb before rinsing as per directions.
I loved both of these products. The shampoo smelt like natural rosemary - not synthetic which was really nice. I liked the fact that the shampoo still foamed without sodium laurel sulfate. The shampoo was effective, I repeated the wash, but I usually do this with any shampoo. The conditioner smelt amazing! I often find with natural conditioners they don't leave my hair feeling soft and silky, however the linden leaves conditioner had this affect. The fragrance was beautiful, refreshing and left my hair smelling delish. I liked the simplicity of the packaging too, it was clear and easy to read and portrayed the natural, "organicness" of the product.
Tips: I left the conditioner in for about 1 minute...it made my hair extra soft :)
