It does the job but it defiantly doesn't measure up to others ive tried. I found that it left a residue in my hair that felt very powdery. The scent is nice but over all not a big fan. i found i had to use a decent amount for it to do the job. Ill be finishing my bottle but wouldn't repurchase it

This was the first dry shampoo I bought. I thought it was a great idea to try something new to freshen up my hair. Bad decision to buy this. It left my long fine hair stiff and hard to brush. It left this stiff, sticky sort of build up. It seemed like the aim was a hairspray and dry shampoo in one. I ended up giving away the barely used bottle to my brothers. Don't know if they used it though. Might be okay for guys hair sort if they're going for a spikey hair style. This was my first experience with dry shampoo and it made me sort of skeptical about dry shampoos that I wasn't sure how the VO5 was going to play out when trialed it. I was amazed it performed much better considering it's cheaper.
This is the only dry shampoo I have ever used. It wasn't a success. The concept is good however it made my fine hair like wire and hard 2 style. It also took a bit of extra effort 2 remove when washing it out. It smelt ok not over powering but for me conventional washing is the way 2 go. Haven't been tempted 2 try another brand.
First time using a dry shampoo and I was really dissapointed. It made my hair look grey, dull and was hard to brush. I definately wouldn't use this again.
I use dry shampoo products a lot as I have fine hair that gets noticeably oily after a day. I thought I'd give TRESemme's version a try, as if I liked it, it would be easy to get a hold of again as it's available in supermarkets. It comes in a decent size aerosol can. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy using this dry shampoo at all. I sprayed it on my roots, waited a minute then rubbed/brushed to remove, but it left my hair with a odd residue and oilier than before I sprayed the product. I tried this multiple times, thinking maybe my hair was a bit too oily (as I know it isn't a miracle product), but still had the same result. It may work for people with other hair types, but definitely not for me.
I bought this a few years ago when it first came out and I was super excited. It is still sitting in my cupboard mostly full.
When I used it it made my hair feel dry and gritty and gross. You are supposed to brush it out with a hairbrush but it just made my hairbrush white and didn't come out. I would hate to see it on brunette hair!
It does however suck up any oil, but to be honest I would rather spend the time to wash my hair than use this!
I don't know if it's just my two cans of dry shampoo, but with both of them, the nozzle always gets stuck and I'm unable to apply any dry shampoo. Only after a million attempts of trying to unstick the nozzle, the product just gushes out and leaves a huge mess on my roots and it's not easy to massage in or brush out properly. It just left my hair feeling dirty. And it didn't give my hair any volume like it claimed it would, I'm not a fan of this particular dry shampoo, which is the only one I've tried so far. So it's probably a good thing that the nozzles are completely stuffed now. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has had the same problem.
I gave this product a second chance; I first tried it when I was brunette and what a let down! It leaves behind some pretty nasty grey residue despite combing it through. BUT, because I had some left, I thought I would try it now that I'm blonde. It was better because the residue isn't as noticeable but still not great. It's not something I'd happily recommend; sure, it works OK, but only briefly and after a while my hair looks and feels worse than that of what I was trying to avoid in the first place. The smell so intense and the mess it leaves on your comb and/or hairbrush is just.....ew! Unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros for me and I feel like it would be less effort just to wash your hair than use this dry shampoo.
Tips: Brunettes - steer clear!
This dry shampoo is a let down. I used this on my self and both my kids. I have semi curly hair and both my kids have frizzy curly hair. It leaves a awful feel to our and is hard to brush through after wards. Also the pump keeps getting stuck and hard to push down. I wont be buying this again, as its just a waste of money.
I have used several different dry shampoo's and this one just doesnt cut it. It has a nice fragrance but thats about it. I found I had to use quite a lot to get rid of the 'greasy' look but it was quite heavy and stiff on my hair afterwards. I also found I needed to shampoo a couple of times in the shower to get rid of it.
