I got this quite a while ago and absolutely loved for about the first 4 washes. I was really surprised and happy that such a reasonable priced product was working so well for me. Unfortunately my hair suddenly decided that it hated it and went oily and flat. Disappointing but this has happened to me a lot with cheaper hair products. Luckily my husband can use anything on his hair so it didn't go to waste.

Tips: I got a small pump bottle of hair oil that came with it which is really nice! Similar to an argan oil.
This is my daily shampoo and conditioner. My hair is a little mistreated from colours etc, but I specifically use this as my shampoo to help keep it from drying out. It is priced well and easy to find in the supermarket. It doesn't weigh my hair down and keeps it moisturised and shiny.
I really love this product, I'm not usually someone who likes dove either. I like the way it makes my hair feel after washing and the way it looks. The product also smells amazing. I like that the conditioner is quite thick so your not having to use a lot of product to cover long thick hair. Although I didn't find it did what it was meant to do, my hair has always been dry and this didn't change it.
I saw this product on sale at the supermarket about 3 months ago so spontaneously decided to buy it...and fell in love!
The conditioner is super thick, almost like a mask, and absorbs into my hair really fast. It has a very pleasant fragrance which does not over-power other fragrances at all. I absolutely loved the results, my poor coloured, dry, britttle hair was transformed into soft, bouncy, knot-free hair! and the results actually lasted for a few days! This product is great for damaged hair and I will continue using it in the future!
Tips: I recently tried the condition first, shampoo second routine (tip from BR forum) using this product and adored the results! Wow, seriously impressed!
I have long hair and lots of it. I really liked the shampoo as it cleansed my hair well and smelt good but I found the conditioner to be quite light and almost watery without a great smell. I purchased the Dove Nutritive Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner (in a tube) and far prefered using the treatment as a conditioner as it was thick and made my hair feel really good. I would buy this again but not the conditionaer - I would buy the shampoo and the treatment.
Firstly to introduce you to my hair, well I have a lot of it, it is thick (in strands and density) and long and I consider it (as most women) a major part of my appearance and sense of self. I am always looking for the perfect product to 'fix' my hair so was pleased to try this product with the claims that their hair care is more technologically advanced for dry and damaged hair than other brands. So far I have been pleased with the results, my hair feels nice and soft, feels glossy and (v. importantly) smells nice.
Tips: After shampooing and conditioning use the dove hair treatment nourishing oil serum to keep you hair in tip top shape!
My hair became pretty damaged over the summer, so I needed a product that would help restore it to a more healthy state. I noticed this shampoo and conditioner set on sale at the drug store, and decided to give it a try.
As previous reviewers said, this product smells wonderful. It's also easy to lather and rinse out, and it softens hair almost immediately. In terms of quick results, this is probably one of the faster non-salon shampoos I've used. It isn't too heavy for my fine hair, and my roots don't get unusually oily after using this shampoo, which was an initial concern of mine.
The only thing preventing me from giving this shampoo a perfect rating is the fact that it left a build-up after I used it for about a month. That can definitely be avoided by rotating shampoos though.
All in all, this is a very good shampoo to use every other day
This is therapy for your hair .with the advanced nutri - oils it helps nurish your hair and also helps maintain dry rough frizzy hair like mine and makes it smoothe and soft to touch.you only really need to apply it to mid length to ends leaving in for about 1-3 mins .great size bottle and cause you only need bout 50cent piece amount it will last quite awhile. .has a lovely fresh smell.
Tips: Massage in to your ends and leave overnight .then either wash out or just tie up for the day and wash out later.i found I could still style my hair if need be.
Yes it's awesome, I have old hair 50% grey and the rest is lightened, I love this product I use the conditioner in the tube and for me find it as good if not better then a lot of the mores expensive brands ( and believe me I have tried a few) I also love the oil, it just leaves my hair well conditioned and clean and soft, not all fuzzy and straw like, so for me it's a big yes
Tips: The conditioner in the tube and leave on for five minutes and the oil in dry hair for the works
BUT I ended up disappointed and I really didn't want to because I really love Dove products! I tried this because my normal Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair wasn't available. I expected good things......no I expected GREAT things because the damage therapy line is soooooo good but the Nourishing Oil Shampoo and Conditioner just didn't deliver. I found my hair was perhaps a little smoother but it was drier even my husband asked me not to get it again because it dried his hair out............this is MY husband caring about shampoo and conditioner??? Just not heard of. I would say though that because some shampoos work for some and not for others it's still worth a try if you're looking to try something different or your regular shampoo isn't on the shelves.
