Impressive shampoo

On my quest to find shampoo and conditioner that was more natural I came to discover this brand. The hair dresser said how amazing it is, and since I have a sensitive scalp I couldn't wait to try it.

Firstly, I love the packaging - in its pump bottle, with stylish label. It just is so lovely to look at! I have dry, slightly damaged hair, which can also get frizzy. Not the best combination!

The pump on this bottle makes it so easy and convenient to dispense the right amount to shampoo your hair with.

The smell of this shampoo is lovely, and smells so refreshing. The consistency is creamy, and the formula really makes my hair and scalp feel clean.

What I love about this range is its focus on natural ingredients, and my sensitive scalp felt good after using this. There's sometimes nasties in some shampoos and conditioners that can irritate my scalp, but not this.

This shampoo is also hydrating for my hair, so it really does tick all the boxes what I look for in a shampoo. Five stars.

Shampoo

I received a sample and used twice. I found my hair was smoother and had less flyaways after using this range of shampoo and conditioner. Pleasant scent.

Not My Preference in this Brand

I used to use the Orange Flower line before trying this and I fell in love with it. Since going through cancer treatment, my hair has really dried out and was recommended to use this one from a hairdresser to help with it. Unfortunately it only made it worse and dried it out even more.

I used the shampoo and conditioner along with the leave in conditioner too but my hair just doesn't like it unfortunately.

I'm also not a fan of the smell - it literally smells like someone has picked up loads of daisies and put them in a bottle. Daisies are pretty but not the best smelling flowers.

I do however like the fact that they come in pump bottles. This makes it user friendly and allows you to get all the product out which will help out when it starts to run out.

I will be either going back to the Orange Flower or getting another recommendation.

Not for me!

I received a few sample sachets of Angel en Provence Helicrysum Revitalising Shampoo in a beauty box and as this shampoo is formulated for dry, damaged or frizzy hair (of which I have neither; mine's oily, naturally stick-straight and has no split ends), I can't really comment too much on this shampoo.

I used the sachets when we went away for a weekend, as packing two sachets into my toiletry bag was much easier than packing a whole bottle of my usual shampoo and figured that since I had them, I might as well use them. As I have oily hair and not dry or damaged hair, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this shampoo. It did clean my hair nicely without stripping it completely but it also meant that my hair looked greasy after a few hours as it's not formulated for oily hair.

The shampoo has a nice, creamy consistency and a very unique smell which, unfortunately, triggered my hayfever really badly and left me with streaming eyes and a runny nose! I thought it was coincidence the first night that I used it but when it happened again the next night, I then knew it was something in the shampoo. I've never had an allergic reaction like this to shampoo before! (It does happen with perfumes though).

So, obviously, I won't be recommending or purchasing this product due to my allergies, but I do like that the shampoo is free from Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and is not tested on animals.

Tips: If you're allergic to certain fragrances, try to get a sample sachet of this before committing to a full-sized bottle
