I managed to get my hands on a set of these out of the beauty vault and I'm so glad I did. I honestly never would have thought of buying them off the shelf if I had seen them at the store I have really thick long hair that is normally too heavy for a tidy bun for more than half an hour. Which is a pain considering I'm going back to work and need a quick presentable do that will stay. I used three of these in a quick bun and they honestly held it up all day. Gone are the hair ties and entire pack of bobby pins to keep my hair presentably fixed to my head. Three of these bad boys did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier. I am definitely going to buy more when I see them

Ok so when I saw these in the March BRBB it had me looking and thinking what the heck are these what? How? Why? I don't know if I should admit this but it was my partner who looked at them and said "looks like you just screw them in" ahh penny drop moment.
So I made my hair into a bun and twisted all 3 of the spinners into my hair. I waited for my hair to start falling down but nothing it sat perfectly still. it stayed like this all day I was slightly surprised that 3 little screw looking things would hold my hair into place. I normally use 32148 bobby pins and I normally lose all of them I like how these are bigger so they won't get lost. I still have all 3 and I have used them regularly since March. I really need to buy more as a back up they don't pull your hair like some bobby pins can. I was slightly worried about removing them I thought they would get stuck in my hair and I would have a nice big birds nest but no you just twist them anti clockwise and they come out easily no tangles nothing. I'm so glad these were in the beauty box i have never seen these in a shop before but now I will be making an effort to find them with myself and 2 little girls in the house these are perfect.
On a bit of cardboard are three stretched to pronged weird looking hair spinners, very unlike a bobby pin but the same principle pop them in and your hair stays put. A lover of bobby pins so if these work and do what they say I'm in. I was a little nervous of putting these spinners in my hair as what goes in has to come out and I've made many a knotty mess before. So a wee ponytail twist and twist a spinner in clockwise and my hair stays put, so in with all three. I made a messy bun thing and these held my hair all day they didn't fall out they just stayed all day and not a tight hold but a good hold. Removal time just twist in the opposite direction and out they came no knots or getting stuck or crying and having a matted mess. I'm hooked they do have a really good hold on my hair, nice to put my hair up without hair ties, that do weaken and break my hair. These are great and I've only lost one so far these are cheap and easy to use and do a great job. For me these will be on the repurchase list as I need more.
A cute idea. Spinners that are brown. They screw in like a corkscrew or a apple corer lol. it's a ingenious idea. Which works really good and holds the hair in place. Without any shift. I would have never know about these but am glad that they came in our BRBBOX.
Tips: Not twist in too close or they connect and make it hard to remove. But best way to remove is take hair out simple and they fall out.
Like a lot of others, I received these in the March Beauty Box. I left them sitting on my dresser for a long time, unsure about whether they would really work. Tonight I decided to try them, so I put my hsir into a bun and screwd in one pin. It stayed in place perfectly! I put a second pin in for extra hold and shook my head around (for scientific testing purposes of course!), and the 'do didn't budge! I hoped they would come out easily as I had a bad experience with a roller hair brush when I was younger and nearly had to have my asir cut off! Thankfully, they came out a breeze. I am going to put these in my hair tomorrow for a whole day at work. Wish me luck!
I scored these from the Beauty Vault and I have to say they are awesome. I wear my hair up most days and find normal clips don't hold and they spey open but these are really strong and hold my hair put all day. They did take a wee bit of playing around to get it right but easy enough you just screw them into your hair! Very good!
Tips: Spray a tiny bit of hairspray on the Bobby Spinner as you are about to put it in your hair gives it that extra staying power
Not only did these hair clips reduce the effort it took to create elaborate hair styles immensely. They also stood up to the Wellington wind. Absolutely love them.
These are great, I was given a couple from my sister and I have long thin hair that doesn't like being controlled and slips out of bobby pins unless enforced with a hair tie! I liked them so much I bought some in brown when I stopped highlighting my hair! The way they twist into each and stay on the diagonal all day is great unlike Bobby pins that don't intersect with each other well and stay put. There is no scrapping your scalp either! Tidy to store as they twist into each other and it's not lots of little thin easy to loose Bobby pins.
These are the niftiest little life savers.
I have my hair up in a bun a third of the time for work and love how easy and convenient these bobby spinners are to use. Just a few seconds to twist in and a few more to remove.
They are far more robust than bobby pins and I'm yet to say I've lost one. My hair has always remained in place with the few up do's I've used these spinners for. (Buns and half up half down styles)
These have probably been the single most useful product I have received in a Beauty Review Beauty Box.
Another awesome vault goodie I snagged. I was a little bit sceptical on how these would work but I shall eat my words. I drive my poor partner to spare with my thousands of bobby pins lying all over the house marking my territory. I have long hair half way down my back lots of it but quite fine tending towards a touch fluffy and flyaways so I always require a thousand bobby pins to achieve what I want.
At the moment I have been tending towards throwing my hair up in a quick bun as it’s just easier to manage especially at work so cue the bobby spinners.
Take the open end and hold the other end and literally just turn clockwise into your hair. It felt a bit weird for sure but 3 of these later and my hair is held securely. They really do have super human strength my hair did not move at all !!... it’s some impressive holding power.
I did still need to use bobby pins for any flyaways - but these bad boys held my hair style all day no sign of movement.
Getting these out was a bit different you do kind of have to fish around your hair a bit but just turn them anti clockwise to get them out and waa laa.
I got these in dark brown, I don’t think the colour really matters they are kind of hidden in your hair but I will be going to get some more for sure. Revolutionary !
