After seeing this product posted on BR a few months back I decided to give Pantene Pro V another go. It always seemed to dry my hair out at the tips but make it really oily after one day in previous uses. The bottle design is typical Pantene design, however the smell is amazing. The texture of the conditioner is really light and almost gel like instead of being slimy. I used the product 4 times, however I stopped using it after it as my hair seemed oily, lifeless and heavy. Obviously something that is not particularity nice having to rely on washing my hair every single day. I gave the product to someone else in the family and they loved it so it must only be my hair that doesn't like it.
Tips: Only condition the tips and then massage into the rest of the hair.
I used this in conjunction with the shampoo. In the past I have found that using Pantene conditioner left my hair feeling dry and lacking moisture but I found with this product you only needed a small amount and it definitely does what it says it will.
I love this conditioner. Match it up with the Pantene Pro-V Moisture Renewal Shampoo and you have yourself a winning combo!
The results from this conditioner are amazing! My hair is left soft, silky, healthy looking hair that locks in the moisture finally. Im happy with the results and pairing it up with the matching shampoo - well you will soon tell the difference.
Well worth it for this conditioner. It smells good and does a great job on my hair. Leaves it so soft and tangle free.
Tips: Pair it up with the matching shampoo for ultimate results.
Pantene can definitely be trusted to deliver and this conditioner left my hair so soft and shiny. The instructions on the conditioner don’t mention a leave-in period but I left it a couple of minutes anyway, only applying to the ends of my hair,
Tips: You only need a tiny bit!
I was so excited to try Pantene again. I used the conditioner after shampooing my hair with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo. I liked the texture when it came out of the bottle. However that's all I like. It didn't renew moisture to my hair in fact I am sure it took it away. My hair took ages to dry both with a hair dryer and just air drying naturally. My hair feels dry, lifeless and looks stringy. It changed how my hair looks and feels but not for the better. Wouldn't use again.
Tips: Use with the shampoo
I was so excited to try this conditioner I love the smell and the moment I put it into my curly mane it instantly detangled it and made it feel silky smooth and I had a sparkle of hope that this may indeed become my everyday conditioner. But as my hair dried it became fluffy and felt like the oils had been taken out leaving it full of fly aways, I can't deny that it wasn't shiny but it seemed to turn my curls into a fluffed out afro.
Tips: This is a great detangler I think it would be fantastic if it was followed up with a leave in conditioner. Definitely run a comb through your hair while the conditioner is in your hair during your shower.
I was a bit apprehensive about trying Pantene again but gave it a go. I'm glad I did. Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner left my hair soft and looks so healthy now! I did leave the conditioner in my hair for a few minutes even though there is no recommended leave in time.
Tips: Team it up with the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo
My hair craves conditioner on a daily bases and as where I don’t shampoo clean my hair daily; I only do that once a week. I do rinse with water and apply a conditioner to my hair every single day and I leave that conditioner in my hair for a good 5 minutes before I rinse it out as I find this helps this crazy super thick and dry hair to behave at its best. So I have a constant need for conditioners and have tried quite a few.
Firstly with this conditioner was the un-nerving discovery of its formula, it is very runny in comparison to others on the market and is actually a lot more fluid than the shampoo from this range. It had me standing in the shower squinting at the bottles to make sure I had used the right product, which is hard as the branding is so similar and the type of shampoo or conditioner on the top of the bottle label isn’t that large to read without glasses on, thankfully the conditioner bottle sit on its lid and the shampoo stands with its lid at the top in an instant look you’d be hard to tell them apart. Even though the formula is quite runny it still went through my damp washed hair with ease but I did need to use an awful lot of it at one time, it took 2 handfuls as my sort of sucked it in. Of course conditioners don’t or shouldn’t foam up but I always put more than is probably needed as my hair is thirsty so it sits on my hair from mid shaft to tip (never put in the roots personally) as a film of glossy translucent white.
The bottle is easy to use and the flippy lid is inset so it’s doesn’t require both hands to open, which is handy with wet hands, it also has great grip and squeeze-able plastic that means you aren’t left wrestling to get the contents out of the it. After use I found that my hair was super soft and shiny, on the days I used this without a shampoo beforehand it left my curls in beautiful spirals that sat in shape all day, with no frizz in sight. However on the days I did use shampoo it got very fluffy and crazy with frizz breakouts, but not sure if that was anything to do with the conditioner or if the moisture from both products was just too much. Unlike the shampoo I would actually buy this again if I needed a bottle urgently but I wouldn’t replace my normal conditioner as the formula and amount you need to use sort of put me off.
The conditioner is always my favourite. As mentioned in the review for the shampoo, it smells great, really does renew the moisture in dry hair, and you only need to use a little bit. Normally I find I need to use way more conditioner than shampoo, but with this it's pretty even, which is exciting because hopefully it means I won't run out of one before the other. All in all, a great product.
