I was excited to try this product as my hair tends to get oily quickly. I also tend to change brands due to this. The application was like any other conditioner. I waited patiently to see if it would do what it says it can do. I was pleasantly surprised after using this product over a week that my hair felt softer and smoother then before. It also was less oily and the styling of my hair seemed to last longer. I would buy this product due to the pleasing effects it had on my hair.

Reviews
I used to use this a long time ago based on the really good reviews then and didn't like it and wasn't sure why it was so hyped about. I think at the time the reason it didn't work that well for me was because I found it was really only good for those with really long hair, which I didn't have so didn't find it worked.
I was lucky to be one of the members that Beauty Review sent these out to, to see if the new formula had improved. So here are the results:
I can't remember what the bottle was like then as it was yonks ago that I used it but the new formula container is really good as it is different compared to the shampoo bottle which is good to prevent mix ups in using the wrong one.
The fragrance smells really nice, and I'll admit I always liked the smell of the Pantene. I can't quite put my finger on the smell, but maybe fruity perhaps? It makes your hair smell really nice all day which is lovely because some shampoos just don't leave any scent after it has been washed out.
The actual results of using the product during the trial were interesting. I didn't have high expectations of the product before I used it but kept open minded the whole way through. The first use was really good and my hair looked and felt great. It was shiny, had a little bounce to it and felt really clean and light. Each wash after that was similar to the first with the same results. I did find that the clean feeling didn't last long and started to feel greasy after the first to second day.
I do believe it has improved but I still feel they need a little more work on the formula to really give that WOW factor that they are so desperately wanting to give their customers.
Tips: Give it a go for yourself to see what results you get, you may be surprised or you may not.
This is a basic conditioner that I found to work but wasn't by any means amazing. The smell is pleasant, it dispenses easily, and it spreads over hair well. I try to concentrate it in my ends, since I find that too much through the roots can be quite greasy.
It leaves my hair feeling quite supple, smooth and fairly silky. I feel that it doesn't leave my hair super moisturised so I would use it if I neede something in a hurry or if on special, but wouldn't purposely repurchase.
I have my absolute favourite conditioners, which are normally from salons. However, I have this in my bathroom just in case I run out.
It’s handy being able to buy from the supermarket. It’s a well known brand which is affordable and popular.
The packaging is the familiar white tube. Simple but stands out.
The formula is just average. I don’t find it very hydrating to my long and quite rebellious hair. It seems quite drying a couple of days after using this.
Overall it’s not my favourite. There are other awesome products out there that are very hydrating and leave your hair feeling healthy and silky. Although affordable, I would rather spend a bit more and get the quality hair conditioners.
This conditioner certainly does what it says it will, and I'd likely use it again since it is reasonably priced and easily accessible at any supermarket. However, it's nothing special at all, and because it isn't curly friendly, it makes my hair frizzy... So I tend to use it sparingly.
This is a great match to it's shampoo (normally that would go without saying but I often find conditioners overcompensate where they should just compliment) and delivered a good moderate level of moisture without sludging up my hair. Not much scent to it, but good product. Will stick with my apple cider vinegar rinse though I think :)
First thing I noticed was the nice fresh fragrance you are left with after using the product. It was easy to apply to the hair. i found my hair still quite dry after using although it did look healthier and cleaner. I ran out of conditioner early on in the trial as I required a reasonable amount to be applied to my hair. I also use a hairdryer and have dry hair at the best of times. Perhaps contined use would give better results. Was happy enough with this product that I will buy more to see what happens with contined use.
Tips: Use with pro v shampoo. Comb conditioner through hair from roots to tips
I've used Pantene on and off over the years. I always get told off by my hairdressers for using it - it has a pretty bad wrap for having silicones that cling to your hair etc.
I recently let my hairdresser convince me to switch and buy salon shampoo, and wash every other day rather than every day.
When I got these samples I tried to use it every other day - and it just gets too greasy on the second day. Don't get me wrong, it did everything it said it would on the first day. It felt shiny and healthy, and really nice condition. But it was way too oily on the second day.
So if you're somebody who washes their hair everyday, I definitely recommend it as an affordable product.
Tips: For everyday use, when you want extra shiny hair.
The first day I tried the product I noticed how it has such a pleasant smell, a smell definitely fit for hair. I have very greasy hair so usually double shampoo to avoid this look, with this shampoo, I felt this was definitely necessary to clean my hair properly. Following this I found I had to use quite a lot of conditioner for it to work in my hair, as I often do. I found I ran out of conditioner much quicker than shampoo, how ever the conditioner is quite dense and thick. I let my hair air dry after the use and my hair was quite soft and full of moisture, a like any of the Pantene products I have tried. Overall, the results were good with the use of a lot of product, and would be even better when blow dried and straightened.
Tips: Brush through your hair when conditioner is in the shower for smoother set angled hair, I use an aqua tangle geezer which is a life saver!
The scent of this product is so strong! Its incredibly floral and mature so not my cup of tea at all. My hair was definitely smooth and silky though. I won't be in a hurry to buy the shampoo or conditioner in the future. Pantene is good value for money - it's just not suited to my fine long hair :)
Tips: If you are washing your hair at night time then it would pay to straighten your hair in the morning as after a quick brush my hair was fluffy!
