I was seriously sceptical about a product claiming to be new and improved. How much improvement could they make while retaining the brand? As it turns out...heaps!
I didn't like the old formula of this at ALL (although I did prefer it to the shampoo in the same range) But I gave the new one a go after ending up with almost a months worth in free samples (oops haha) and . . . I believe them.
I don't personally like the packaging for these as I find it a bit outdated, but the product is what is important and that has improved significantly. The conditioner is a little thick and I need more than I use of the shampoo, so I run out of this much faster which can be a little irritating. The product is a nicely scented thick and shiny cream that instantly goes to work to moisturise and separate hair, and washes cleanly away. Hair is left soft and shiny, easy to brush and style.
I would absolutely try a full size bottle of this, though fear I'd need to buy 2 of these to every bottle of shampoo. Well done Pantene. You've converted me back :)
The Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner made my hair very shiny! It was really nice to see extra shine after a couple of washes.
Compared to it's shampoo match, the conditioner did not smell strongly, which was good for me as I absolutely adore the shampoo's fragrance. The bottle is like most Pantene bottles, with its classic looks and easy to squeeze bottle.
The texture of the conditioner made me feel as though I was putting on a hair mask which is nice for feeling pampered!
Unfortunately, although my hair has been very shiny, it has maintained the same feel to it. However, my partner stole it a few times and he has said that it made his hair nice and soft feeling! He really likes this conditioner and said that it moisturised his hair.
So perhaps, it may work only on certain types of hair to the extent that it claims. My partner has Asian hair, whereas I have thick, easy to dry out, blonde hair.
Overall I have liked using this conditioner, and although, for me it hasn't worked the way it advertised I think I will still buy it for "myself"... to use or rather to be stolen.
Tips: Leave the conditioner is while you do other things, like shave your legs as I have found it made my hair look shiner the longer I left it in!
