Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

i normally use salon products only on my hair. My hair is quite damaged from lightening, straightening and blow drying. I was pleasantly surprised with this shampoo. Nice simple and functional packaging. Smells yummy and the consistency is just right. It lathers up really nicely so don't have to use much and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean after one shampoo. I have noticed quite a lot of improvement in the look and feel of my hair - both for the better. I have a sensitive scalp which is prone to getting really itchy with some shampoos but I haven't had any problems with this one. I've also used this on my daughters hair. She's prone to oily scalp and really dry lengths and ends. Her hair also seems to love this shampoo. Overall I'm pretty stoked with this product and will be buying more for sure :)

Like the conditioner, I had tried this yonks ago and didn't fall in love with it at all. Didn't find it did anything for my short hair so when this trial came up, I just had to put my hand up to see if they had improved their formula after all these years. Here are the results.

The container is good as it prevents it getting mixed up with the conditioner which is always a bonus for me because I get sick and tired of picking up the wrong bottle of other brands as they are exactly the same.

The formula I find is a bit more thicker than it used to be and I find that you don't need a lot of this, maybe the size of a 50c coin, but then again it also depends on the length and thickness of your hair. I have short thick hair so don't really require lots as it lathers up really well, too much of the shampoo I find is really hard to get out and takes ages to wash it out. I think what I liked about this formula is that it left my hair feeling soft and a little silky before I had applied the conditioner which I always like and tells me its a good brand, some leave my hair feeling like birds nest at the back. This one was good.

The fragrance was nice just like the conditioner, a fruity type hint I think it is, I'm useless when it comes to describing scents, so don't hold me to the fruity part lol.

The actual results I found were pretty much like the conditioner, after the first use, left my hair soft, shiny, clean and with a little bounce. I don't believe it has a wow factor and perhaps for me it never will as I'm super fussy when it comes to my hair, but it has improved and I really like that Pantene are always striving to improve their formula to satisfy their customers. A thumbs up for that Pantene.

In my younger days I was a regular Pantene user, but as my hair became more coarse and fine it wasnt doing the trick and I stopped using Pantene Shampoo and conditioner for many many years.

When I was invited to trial the new Pantene range I was excited and nervous, I wasnt sure it would help my hair but I was open to anything.

It comes in a white plastic bottle with a strong lid, I dont know how many times I have dropped this shampoo or its fallen off the shelf and the lid is still in tact 100%.

Using it for the first few times I noticed it didnt foam as much as normal shampoos, it smells so nice and fresh, rinsing the shampoo out is easy and my hair didnt feel unmanageable after shampooing like regular shampoos which made me very impressed.

It cleans my scalp very well without removing all my natural oils from my hair, I am so impressed with the new pantene range, teamed with the conditioner I found a huge change in my hair just after the first wash. I highly recommend this Shampoo and Conditioner.

I was very sceptical about this product, as I am about any Shampoo and Conditioner. But I loved this combination. The design on the bottles really caught my attention and is very classy.

I'm a sucker for a Shampoo and Conditioner combo that smell great. This did not disappoint. It smells great and isn't too overpowering.

My hair was quite dry, but this product took care of that. My hair became less dry after a few washes.

The only problem is that this is quite pricey so I don't think I will be buying it very often.

Pantene has been my trusty go to choice for shampoo & conditioner for years, up until a few months ago when I decided to explore other options. Then I received samples of this in the mail 40ml bottles, enough for 4 generous washes. When I opened the box with the sample sized bottles in it was a burst of beautiful fragrance, still has that classic pantene scent to it but stronger and better. Question is, is the new & improved formula really that? Hmm it's really hard to say but it does deliver what it promises.

This shampoo gives my hair a good clean, lifts the oiliness from the roots and hydrates the lengths. It doesn't tangle my hair up too much as can be the case with shampoo, thus less damaging as hair is most fragile when wet. The consistency and lather are standard for a shampoo, the scent is cleanly fresh & fragrant. So great shampoo, I would purchase it if it was on special when I needed some. There's always specials on shampoo & conditioner at the supermarket so I opt for one that's discounted, why pay full RRP when you never really have to?

I was seriously sceptical about a product claiming to be new and improved. How much improvement could they make while retaining the brand? As it turns out...heaps!

I didn't like the old formula of this at ALL. But I gave the new one a go after ending up with almost a months worth in free samples (oops haha) and . . . I believe them.

I don't personally like the packaging for these as I find it a bit outdated, but the product is what is important and that has improved significantly. The shampoo lathers nicely but doesn't strip hair or tangle it. It has a good consistency (thick and shiny) and works nicely into hair. I wash my roots and let the residue run through my lengths, and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. Would definitely give a full sized bottle a go.

I received a sample bottle for this and the conditioner and im in love! my hair is bouncy and healthy and looks great. So im off to buy the full size and i cant wait to have this in my daily life. Also has a really yummy smell

So I got my free samples in the mail about a week ago. I wash my hair every second day. I usually don't condition it every second day, but I have been because I enjoy the conditioner so much. BUT this review is for the shampoo. My hair feels silky, is shiny, and other than my roots, looks like it's never met a bottle of hair dye in its life! The smell is amazing and it doesn't lather crazily like some other shampoos do. The sample is also lasting me quite a few washes. Love this product and I think it might make its way into my shower permanently,

I used Pantene for years as a teenager and ended up changing to a salon product because of all of the awful things that were said about Pantene and the silicone in it. I've been chopping and changing brands recently and I decided to try this again because I was interested after seeing such good reviews on here from the big trial. I got the moisture renewal because my hair has been really dry lately and it needs some help in that department. The smell of the product was okay but nothing particularly good or bad. The texture of the product is exactly what you would expect for the product.This left my hair feeling clean and didn't cause any irritation or flaking of my scalp which my sensitive skin can be quite prone to. There were not any remarkable effects on my hair apart from it not being moisturizing enough for the condition my hair is in at the moment. I had such high hopes of being able to be a Pantene girl again but no such luck this time.

I received this product from the company in a 40 ml bottle as a free sample. I have always liked Pantene shampoos and conditioners and this one also did not disappoint.

I firstly liked the packaging, the dark pearl, white, and yellow blend of colours looks quite classic.

I absolutely love the delicate fragrance – nice and subtle. The product seems to lather up quite a lot with using only a small amount, and my hair felt very clean afterwards.

I have used the product several times and my hair feels soft and silky. It claims to erase the damage of 100 blow-dries for silky hair. It’s hard to know if it meets this claim, but it does make my hair feel less dry. It didn’t leave any nasty residue or build-up in my hair.

For $9 it is deserving of a recommendation. I would most likely use it again when I can pick it up on special as there are also lots of other good shampoos on the market right now that are cheaper.
