I have my hair coloured monthly and normally use a Salon bought shampoo and never suffer with dry hair, unfortunately only after a few days use of this product my hair became very dry.

Tips: would not recommend for coloured hair
I have medium length, thin, blonde hair. I use the hairdryer and straightners every second day and always make sure I use a heat protectant. I was excited to give Pantene Pro V Daily Moisture a go as it stated that it could erase blowdry damage and leave hair feeling silky. I used both the shampoo and conditioner for 3 washes in a row. The smell was pleasant, the texture was nice and thick but my hair was left feeling dry. I'm sure this product would be great on some types of hair but this was not for me.
It arrived in a little box which I thought was cute. Its scent was fantastic, the texture was great, even lathered well. But sadly after my hair dried it left it feeling like straw and had no shine or volume to it. I will not buy this product.
This shampoo left my hair feeling quite harsh and wirey after rinsing. The formula was quite thick and gluggy. I would only use it again as a last resort. It has a nice fragrance to it though. The packaging was practical, and attractive at the same time. The lid was easy to remove and then replace as required.
Tips: The formula could be thinned out so it is not so thick and is easier to distribute.
The only thing that I liked about this product was the smell. The product to me did anything as it said it would. Just after shampooing my hair i felt it had made my hair dry and the conditioner did not help at all. To me there are much better products out there.
I usually use salon-only shampoo and conditioner but I was keeping an open mind when trialing this shampoo and conditioner. If I could find cheaper products that do the same job I would definitely use them! I was particularly interested to see if these products really had the "lightweight feel" they claim. After using both products three times in the last week I don't feel they did. Unfortunately my hair didn't have a clean feeling after washing, it lacked volume around the roots (my hair was quite flat and stuck to my head; not a good look!) and was greasy by the second day. Sorry Pantene but I won't be buying these.
I was super excited to be on the trial team for the Pantene Prov- V Daily Moisture Renewal and wanted to see if it would live up to it's name. I'm naturally quite a dark brunette, but for the past year I've been bleaching my hair to a white blonde and, therefore, have been using a shampoo and conditioner that my hair stylist recommended. These salon bought shampoo sets are quite a lot more expensive than your average supermarket ones but I found that they kept my hair extremely soft and manageable as well as having a lovely scent. What I found with the Pantene shampoo was that it in fact left my hair feeling a significant amount drier and that I was having to use a lot more of my other hair products (Argan oil, Know Knot sprey etc) to counteract this. I also found that although the Pantene Pro- V shampoo had a subtle scent when it was in the bottle, once applied and rinsed from the hair it was unnoticeable. Personally I did not find this shampoo to suit my hair requirements, this is most likely down to the fact that I have such severely colour treated hair and require a more specific shampoo.
The post earlier this month to ask if anyone would use the new formula Pantene Pro V piqued my interest so I decided to buy a bottle and give it a go. The bottle is a typical Pantene bottle, however the fragrance was amazing. I only needed a little bit of the shampoo to wash my hair so I can see it is good value for money. I ended up only using it 4 times as it made my hair appear to be limp, oily and give me a slightly itchy scalp. I realised that this could have been my hair/scalp specifically and therefore gave it to another family member to use-they loved the product, however I will be sticking with Keratase for future hair washes.
Tips: Wash your hair twice with half portions. The first will get out the grime and the second to give you volume.
I received a deluxe sample of this in the mail, and I'm going to get straight to the point. I hate it.
My first use went swimmingly, the shampoo lathered like I remembered, and the smell was the same. I had missed Pantene, and since they switched up their formula I was excited to use it. The excitement ended the next morning when I woke up with a massive rats tail dreadlock, which was my entire freakin' pony tail! Curse the hair gods! I thought, not thinking it was the shampoo. I kept using it, relishing in that familiar smell.
It wasn't until my hair started to go really dry and frizzy, and literally unbrushable, did I realize it was the shampoo. I was pulling my hair out when I brushed because everything had knotted together. I had stopped using products like argan oil in my damp hair, and this shampoo brought out the worst in my hair. Unbelievable. I have used it for a solid week with no results but bad. I won't be purchasing a full sized bottle of this overpriced cr*p, not with these results.
So I'm from the era when Pantene went through a real bad rap. Rumours and stories were going around of Pantene ruining hair, hair falling out etc. my sister used it all the time and her hair became coated and weighed down with build up. Pantene got a real bad name in my circle. Years on and this trial comes up and I am so curious? Have they changed formula? Havent heard of any? Haven't heard any stories lately good or bad. Was stoked to be able to try it. First thing I look for in a shampoo and conditioner is the smell. I like my hair smelling good. Pantene had no smell at all. It worked through my hair well but took ages to rinse the conditioner out. My hair was knotty to brush after. No build up so far but only been using it a little over a week, prob needs a few months to find out if it still does that. So I have to say, it's ok but I wouldn't go out and buy it. It did nothing for my hair. When I use my swartzkoff I get a lot of comments on my hair, how nice and healthy it looks and feels, it smells good etc. with the Pantene it was just bland. So yeah, nah. Not for me
Tips: Rinse the conditioner thoroughly it takes a while
