Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

For years I have used Lush Godvia Shampoo & Conditioner bars as I just love the feel of my hair without the chemical treatments! However I thought I'd be brave and try the Pantene Pro-V samples as an alternative as I'm going travelling soon and I'm not sure the USA would appreciate my all natural hair products! The first thing that struck me about Pro-V was the smell - it was so divine I couldn't stop smelling it! I used the shampoo and conditioner and it all went as per normal. I definitely wouldn't use these products daily as it would be too much for my hair to handle. After using Pro-V on Saturday I didn't wash my hair again until Wednesday morning - pretty good going! I will take Pro-V with me on my travels and see how it fairs in the US winter :)

I seldom believe what manufacturer say about their products, promising the world and never delivering, but I must say this time I was very impresed. After the 1st day I noticed my hair was indeed feeling more silky and less straw like, I still had tangles when I ran my comb through it after washing and before drying but the second day wow now I did notice results, my comb went straight through without any tangles before and after I dried it, not only did it look silky it felt it too, at the end of the day it still felt great, I couldn't stop running my fingers through it, day 3 decided to dry and straighten, thinking surely the straighteren will dry it out but no, I still had the lovely silky look and feel, next day I let it dry naturally, just run a comb throught it, no tangles and still at the end of the day it was looking great, not the dull look I have been use too by the end of the day, so for me it was fanastic, thumbs up all the way

I haven't used Pantene products for many years as my hairdresser told me it wasn't good for any hair and it was quite costly compared to other shampoos.

I found that I didn't need as much shampoo on as my normal shampoos as it frothed up more, was very creamy and light to massage around and the smell was gorgeous.

The conditioner was also pleasant to use with the creamy solution covering all of my hair. I left it in for about 2 minutes before rinsing out which took a while. Felt lovely on my scalp and also had a delightful smell.

While wetting my hair in the shower and having not such good vision, I did find it difficult working out which one was Shampoo and which was the Conditioner. I would love to see the smaller words on the plastic bottles much bigger.

My hair does feel smoother and looked quite luxurious after using. The cost of these isn't too much when on special as I saw them at $4.99 each.

First things first, I've had issues with Pantene agrocating my dandruff. However, something must have changed in the formula because after using the shampoo I found that my dandruff actually decreased, and had no increased dandruff over the time I used the shampoo and conditioner. I noticed the shampoo fluffed up really well, so you only need to use a really small amount. The shampoo was also great because it didn't strip down your hair and make it straw-like, like so many shampoos do. I found my hair to remain smooth after the shampoo, found it to be moisturised. The consitioner furthered this. Again, only needed to use a very small amount because hair wasn't completely dried out by the shampoo like many shampoos do. The conditioner made my hair really silky soft. The shampoo and conditioner were easy to wash out, and didn't require excessive rubbing to try and get out. I found the shampoo and conditioner didn't weigh down my hair; my hair felt light and smelt great. Since you only need to use very small amounts, the shampoo and conditioner would last a long time so they're very cost effective.

On first opening this product it had a nice smell which is always a bonus,the packaging was bright and easy to read. It lathered up in my hair well and seemed to remove dirt from my hair.I did find it tangled my hair a bit more than my usual shampoo ,but for a supermarket shampoo its a decent product for its price.

I found the Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner very good for me. It does mimic the natural moisture layers of my hair. It has kept my hair smooth looking and nourished. My hair up in a ponytail actually looks sleek and sits well rather than having a messy just woke up and put it in a ponytail type of look. After trialing the product and had to get both my children ready for school and put my hair up my hair looked smooth, refreshed and was manageable.

The shampoo/conditioner bottles are cute they are click on lids.

The product is of a creamy consistency when you apply the shampoo you only need a small amount because it lathers quite well, especially on my hair that is long. I left it on for about 1-2 minutes to really let it absorb and lock in the moisture, which it did!

The conditioner left my hair soft, shiny and smelling really nice as well.

Compared with other shampoo/conditioner that I have used I will buy the full product most definitely especially when I want to style my hair up or down and need that nourishing and sleek style.

I have used many of the different lines Pantene has released over the years and was very excited to try out the new formula.

As far as drugstore hair care brands go I think Pantene does a very good job at offering a decent product considering the price tag.

The first time I used the shampoo and conditioner I wasn't very impressed. I let my hair dry naturally to get a better idea of the product itself. It left my hair much fluffier than the previous product I had been using but it did feel nice and clean as well as very soft.

The second time I used it however I let my hair air dry again and this time it seemed to work much better. My curls formed nicely and had a bit of shine to them.

The third time I used it I blow dried my hair and straightened it. Whilst the ends needed a little serum the roots were super smooth and had a nice amount of volume.

All in all I think that for the price point this is a nice product and will definitely repurchase from the Pantene range as I have so much history with the brand I trust the results I will get from it.

I was lucky enough to receive this and the conditioner to review haven't used it in years so was excited to give it a go I have dry/ damaged hair. The bottle is a very decent 350mls and the product itself is a normal shampoo texture with a lovely luxurious sent.

I used a small amount and applied to wet hair it lathered up quite nicely and with the second shampoo (I always do two) it lathered up really well and it felt like I was getting a good clean. My hair felt a bit more strawlike than usual after rinsing (before conditioner) but not too horrible. I then conditioned and blow dried and my hair feels good no better than normal but no worse either.

I gave this a average rating because that's what I feel it is average its definitely not a bad product but I don't think its anything to rave about either I've used and do use more affordable products that do the same job if not slightly better than this one. I will however keep using it for awhile to give it a good go because it does claim to give healthier hair after every wash.

I have medium length, thin, blonde hair. I use the hairdryer and straightners every second day and always make sure I use a heat protectant. I was excited to give Pantene Pro V Daily Moisture a go as it stated that it could erase blowdry damage and leave hair feeling silky. I used both the shampoo and conditioner for 3 washes in a row. The smell was pleasant, the texture was nice and thick but my hair was left feeling dry. I'm sure this product would be great on some types of hair but this was not for me.

I can't recall the last time I used Pantene on my hair, and also never was all that keen in the past as have heard hairdressers always putting this product down, saying how bad it is for your hair etc....so sceptical when it arrived, the packaging still looked the same as I remember higher price point (compared with other supermarket brands)

Decent size bottles and can be stood both ways which I liked so you aren't wasting that bit at the end.

Comes with a Matching daily renewal conditioner as recommended to use both when washing hair.

I have always wanted to combat my hairs dryness and being some limp so would give anything a try (once anyway) I didn't find after the first an instant ooh my hair is moisture-rich, soft, and shiny, but used for a week (every second day) and would notice much tamer when blow drying and straightening which is a plus and my hair sat really nicely when I had just washed it and left to dry naturally.

Overall the condition of my hair is still somewhat dry, but that would be other factors of my lifestyle as well, not just because of how I wash my hair. I loved that this particular Shampoo targeted what my main concerns were for my hair and that is always reassuring.

I wouldn't race out in a heart beat go out and purchase this again but I was happy enough for what did happen from a Supermarket product compared with Hair dresser salon suggestions
